Chapter 1409: [Meeting Breasts Brings Good Fortune] (Part II)
Hu Xiaotian began to feel his head heavy and muddled, his eyelids growing heavy; he knew the state of oxygen deprivation was starting, and looking at Ji Feihua, he found her increasingly alluring, captivating his heart. At such a moment, willpower and self‑control inevitably weaken. Ji Feihua soon felt a warmth and swelling in her thighs—this had happened before, and now the distance between them was even closer than before. Hu Xiaotian had thought he would anger Ji Feihua, but she did not get angry; she simply held him silently. Feeling her body as soft as a woman's, he whispered, "I don't know why, but I keep finding myself thinking of you as a woman."
Ji Feihua whispered, "When did this happen?"
Hu Xiaotian said, "I can't recall; I just always feel you're like a woman, and I can't help wanting to protect you."
"You protect me?"
Hu Xiaotian said, "I know this thought of mine is ridiculous, but I always feel you're like a lonely, helpless little girl, and from the bottom of my heart I want to cherish you…" Feeling Ji Feihua tighten her hold and his eyelids growing heavier, he gasped, "I… I think I'm going to go on ahead…"
Ji Feihua said, "In my heart you are also an almighty powerhouse! Xiaotian, keep going! Didn't you say you wanted to cherish me?" His voice visibly trembled, revealing inner tension.
Hu Xiaotian mumbled, "I want to cherish you… I still want to hold you… I still want to kiss you…" This guy's mind was getting fuzzy, yet he was still thinking about these things.
Ji Feihua felt no amusement at all, nor did she consider Hu Xiaotian's words a desecration; she shook his shoulders, saw he was drifting off, noticed the blue skull still on his head, reached up and shoved it further onto him, then twisted his ear hard: "You can't sleep, you can't sleep!"
A foolish smile spread across Hu Xiaotian's face: "I… I'm so sleepy… Feihua… the sky is full of Feihua… you… look like you're not wearing clothes… you're a woman…"
Ji Feihua's eyes brimmed with tears; she had never cried before anyone: "Hu Xiaotian, wake up, wake up!" She slapped his face hard: "Open your eyes, open your eyes!"
Hu Xiaotian strained to open his eyes. At that moment his eyelids felt as heavy as a thousand jin: "So good…" Before he could finish, he managed to open a slit of an eye, then it closed again, and his body went limp and collapsed.
Two lines of crystal‑clear tears slid down Ji Feihua's pristine face; he felt an unprecedented grief and despair, a loneliness he had never known filling his chest, he clung tightly to Hu Xiaotian, lifted his head and bellowed with all his might. The narrow, sealed ice cavern could not carry his sound outward; this sorrow was known only to him, this agonizing pain borne solely by him.
Ji Feihua gazed at Hu Xiaotian's face, then suddenly lowered her head and pressed her lips to his cold ones. Her kiss did not rouse him.
The blue skull's light shone on Ji Feihua's tear‑filled eyes; she reached out to lift the skull from Hu Xiaotian's head, wanting to see his face more clearly in the cramped space. Finding no place to set the massive skull, she placed it on her own head. As she stroked Hu Xiaotian's face, the blue translucent skull's light suddenly flared intensely, and Ji Feihua widened her eyes. A blinding radiance filled her vision, stealing her sight for a moment; within the light a vertical shaft appeared above her head, as if she had stepped out of the narrow ice cave and floated in an endless, infinite azure void.
Before him appeared a gigantic azure head phantom, which seemed to smile at him, and he faintly heard the phantom whisper in his ear: "Child, you have finally found me!"
The azure phantom dissolved into glyphs he had never seen, yet he could understand each symbol's meaning. He no longer knew where he was, nor whether what lay before him was real or illusion; perhaps his time to depart the world had come.
While Ji Feihua was utterly lost in the vision, Hu Xiaotian regained consciousness just as he was on the brink of death from oxygen deprivation; a clear stream welled up from his dantian qi sea, flowing like a spring breeze through his eight extraordinary meridians in an instant, dispelling the suffocating sensation. He slowly opened his eyes, only to see the blue skull now perched on Ji Feihua's head, her whole body bathed in a blue glow. As the light moved over her, her body became a luminous entity; her outer clothing could not block the radiance. Hu Xiaotian's eyes widened and his mouth fell open, for the glowing figure was unmistakably a woman's silhouette. Though a eunuch taking on a woman's shape might not be rare, certain traits are impossible for a eunuch, and the first thing he noticed was the chest—though compressed by external bindings, it was clearly not a man's. He continued looking downward, truly clear! When did my eyes acquire X‑ray vision?
Hu Xiaotian had never been one to avoid looking at what's improper, but this guy wasn't using colored lenses either; as a former medical worker, his first instinct was to approach the matter with rigorous medical scrutiny. Seeing the pelvis, he could almost conclude it was female, and looking further down left no doubt—Ji Feihua must be a woman! He thought to himself, then realized he might really be dying; his eyes could perceive an X‑ray effect, turning the body into a glowing form, and even more absurd, he had mistaken a eunuch for a woman. Day‑long thoughts, night‑long dreams—people often ponder such things while alive, and in death those fantasies come true.
"Am I dead?" Hu Xiaotian blinked, then brought his fingertip to his lips and bit down hard. He felt pain—how could this dream feel so real? No? He surveyed his surroundings, clutched Ji Feihua tightly; the flesh in his arms was undeniably real, and though it glowed, its texture was unmistakable.
Ji Feihua, too, was pulled back from the illusion by Hu Xiaotian's fierce embrace; the infinite space before her shrank in an instant, sped away from him, became a black hole in his view, then dwindled to a black point and vanished. Ji Feihua opened her eyes as if waking from a dream.
In Hu Xiaotian's sight, however, the luminous figure's light faded instantly, everything reverted to how it was before he lost consciousness, the only change being that the blue skull that had been on his head was now on Ji Feihua's.
Hu Xiaotian finally confirmed he was still alive, and not only alive but his mind was perfectly clear. In his brain floated two transparent round cakes—originally they should have been steamed buns, but external pressure had deformed them into cakes. "Meeting breasts brings good fortune," he thought, "how wicked, yet there's some truth to it—Ji Feihua actually has breasts!"
Ji Feihua had not realized that wearing the blue skull had caused her abnormal change; seeing Hu Xiaotian wake, she could not restrain her mixed joy and sorrow, embraced him and said, "Little bearded one… you… you're awake?"
Holding Ji Feihua now, Hu Xiaotian's mood had completely overturned from before. He had thought his sexual orientation had shifted, making him interested in a eunuch, but what he had just seen made clear that Ji Feihua was a genuine woman—how could she have concealed herself so well? How had a nine‑year‑old girl slipped into the palace and endured what inhuman torment to become the powerhouse dominating the Dakang court and countryside? In Hu Xiaotian's heart he now saw Ji Feihua as weak, and from the depths of his soul rose a protective urge; he whispered, "How could I leave Elder Brother Ji alone?"
Ji Feihua and Hu Xiaotian clung together, happiness peaking, but soon she noticed too many flaws in her current state; she shifted her torso back, trying to put some distance between them, yet Hu Xiaotian sensed her intent and held her even tighter. Moreover, the space they could move in was scant, leaving Ji Feihua nowhere to escape; she whispered softly, "How do you feel?"
Hu Xiaotian, feigning ignorance while understanding perfectly, said, "Still dizzy, want to sleep…"
Ji Feihua, thinking his danger had not passed, grew tense at once: "You must not sleep."
Hu Xiaotian said, "I'm afraid I won't last much longer… Feihua… before I die… I still have an unfulfilled wish." By now he had completely switched to calling her Feihua.
Ji Feihua nodded, but at that moment she felt Hu Xiaotian's heartbeat strong and vigorous, unlike his earlier feeble state, and wondered inwardly whether he was deliberately putting on an act to deceive her. She seized his wrist, her face full of worry, and said, "Little bearded one, go on."
Hu Xiaotian said, "Feihua… I know I'm shameless and excessive… but before I die I want… I want to kiss you once…" This fellow again began to play the dying act.
Ji Feihua felt his pulse and already knew everything; "Hu Xiaotian, Hu Xiaotian, you actually dared to trick me?" She sighed, "But I'm a eunuch…"
"I don't care," Hu Xiaotian pouted and lunged forward.
But Ji Feihua seized his throat with one hand; a little pressure and Hu Xiaotian's eyes rolled white as she choked him.
Hu Xiaotian pointed at his own throat, signaling her to let go.
