Chapter 35: Volume One Summary
Volume One Summary
Hello everyone, I am Hongfa. First of all, I would like to thank all you friends for your support; whether it is monthly votes, recommendation votes, tips, bookmarks, or suggestions, they are all excellent.
With your support and encouragement, I have managed to stumble my way through and spend nearly a month writing the entirety of the first volume.
If I haven't miscalculated, the first volume should be just under 180,000 words. Actually, I originally wanted to name the first volume "Meteor Visitor," but I felt it was too sci-fi, so I changed it to "Self-Cultivation of an Interlude."
It is mainly the protagonist's rise to prominence, counting as having a little bit of strength in Middle-earth; I won't go into too much detail about that.
Actually, I am very grateful to those friends who offered different suggestions. As long as it isn't just pure trouble-making and there is substance in the suggestion, I will take it to heart.
I also reply if there are questions. Take a look at my author profile; the writing isn't great, but there is a lot of nonsense.
Yes, I am talking about myself.
There are some readers whose suggestions I can't quite understand. They come right out and say I will definitely flop and tell me to cut the book. I had only written a few tens of thousands of words at the time, and they wanted me to cut the book? d(? д??)
There are also friends who read twelve chapters in half a month and then ask some inexplicable questions, for example, how to eat wheat? Allen thinks to himself, I'll send it to them, and they can eat it however they want.
This kind of question really leaves me not knowing how to answer. I am just writing a web novel, not "A Bite of Middle-earth," and I won't write such fine details.
Updating 5.6K a day is not easy. I am just an amateur part-time writer. Writing books relies solely on a burst of passion; my level is truly average, and my abilities are limited.
Having said that, I still want to thank you all for being able to tolerate my shortcomings. Thank you.
Let me say quietly, I went back and re-segmented the content from chapter one to chapter nine. Although it is still not very good, it should be better than before.
By the way, for future updates, I will probably divide the daily word count into two chapters, each over 2,000 words, so that it might be more convenient for everyone to read.
In addition, although I have always advocated that my protagonist should go out more and get to know various big shots so that it will be easier to talk when things come up in the future.
However, in reality, my level of describing these plots is not high, so please go easy on me.
It's what the plot requires; I have no other choice (ノ? `? ′?)ノ︵
I still hope everyone can give me lots of support. One friend wrote a very long comment, and they were very right. As a non-professional web novel writer like me, doing things solely on a burst of passion, how could it last without positive feedback?
How can I guarantee a fountain of inspiration for 5K words every day? Isn't it all thanks to you guys?
In short, the first volume ends here. What starts immediately is the second volume, "When the Interlude Plays," which is when the interlude changes the world.
It can be considered a proper entry into the main storyline.
Let's end the summary here. Thank you all for your support. Thank you.
