Chapter 219: Absent

Rong Ci just returned to the office when her phone rang.

It was a call from Feng Jingxin.

Remembering the purpose of Feng Tingshen inviting her to dinner in the meeting room just now, looking at Feng Jingxin's call, she didn't answer.

Feng Jingxin called her three times in a row, and seeing she didn't answer, after a while, she sent her a message.

【Mom, I'm going to participate in a fencing competition next month. Can you accompany me to fencing training tomorrow?】

Seeing this message, the hand Rong Ci was holding the phone with suddenly paused.

Since Feng Tingshen took Feng Jingxin to Country A more than two years ago, she had been absent from many things about Feng Jingxin.

For example, in the past two years, she didn't know much about what courses Feng Tingshen arranged for Feng Jingxin and what interest classes he signed her up for.

Before she wanted to divorce Feng Tingshen, she had asked Feng Jingxin about these things, but Feng Jingxin wasn't willing to tell her much.

So if Feng Jingxin hadn't told her now, she really wouldn't have known that Feng Jingxin had learned fencing.

As for the fact that she was preparing to participate in the competition, she knew even less.

For Feng Jingxin's growth, she had already been absent for so much...

Thinking of this, Rong Ci looked at the message Feng Jingxin sent, and couldn't come back to her senses for a long time.

Just then, a knock on the door sounded outside.

Rong Ci came back to her senses, "Please come in."

It was Gu Yan.

He came to talk to her about work.

When talking about work, Gu Yan was still very serious.

Tomorrow is the weekend.

After finishing talking about work, remembering that he wanted to make an appointment with her before but always missed the opportunity, he didn't leave immediately after finishing the talk, but asked, "I went to see a play two weeks ago, it felt quite interesting. It happens that there is a performance this week too, I plan to go see it again, want to go together?"

Rong Ci remembered Feng Jingxin's message just now, shook her head and said, "I have other arrangements on Saturday, so I won't go."

A trace of disappointment flashed in Gu Yan's eyes, "Is that so..."

At this time, Feng Jingxin, who had been waiting for Rong Ci's reply, sent another message to Rong Ci.

【Mom, reply to me quickly...】

Seeing the message, Rong Ci picked up the phone and replied to her.

【Got it, Mom will come over to accompany you to training tomorrow morning.】

Gu Yan saw she had things to be busy with, so he didn't disturb her anymore and turned to leave.

Seeing Rong Ci replied to her, Feng Jingxin was overjoyed and called her immediately.

Rong Ci answered the phone, and Feng Jingxin asked immediately on the other side, "Mom, you finally have time tomorrow!"

Rong Ci: "Mm."

Feng Jingxin asked happily again, "Then when are you coming home tomorrow night?"

"Mom won't go back at night," Rong Ci said while staring at the computer, "You send the time and address of tomorrow's training to Mom, Mom will go directly to the place where you train to wait for you tomorrow."

Feng Jingxin just arrived home after school.

She stood in the villa lobby, looking at the few busy servants in the house, and found that she hadn't seen Rong Ci's figure at home for a long, long time.

Even, she couldn't remember when Rong Ci last came home.

Hearing Rong Ci say this, she felt a bit stuffy in her heart, but thinking that Rong Ci could accompany her to fencing training tomorrow morning, she became happy again, "Good, I know, I'll let Dad send the time and address to you in a while!"

Hearing this, Rong Ci paused before responding, "Good, Mom knows."

Saying this, she asked again, "Are you home?"

"Just arrived home."

"That's good." Rong Ci finished and said, "Mom still has work to be busy with, hanging up the phone first, take care of yourself."

"I know, Mom, you also take good care of yourself."

"Mm." ===== CHAPTER 220 =====
