Chapter 498: Temporarily

Feng Tingshen still had a flight to catch.

After the parent-teacher meeting ended, Feng Tingshen and Seeing Rong Ci prepared to leave.

Feng Jingxin waved happily: "Bye-bye, Mom and Dad."

Watching Feng Jingxin happily playing with her classmates, Seeing Rong Ci and Feng Tingshen nodded, then turned and left side by side.

Before they had walked far, Feng Tingshen received a phone call.

She had come in Feng Tingshen's car in the morning, and just now she had already asked her driver to bring her own car over.

By the time Feng Tingshen finished his call, Seeing Rong Ci had already walked straight toward her own car and was preparing to get in.

Just at this moment, Feng Tingshen spoke to her: "See you next time."

Seeing Rong Ci frowned slightly, said nothing, got in the car, and left.

Returning to the company, Yu Moxun asked: "Finished the parent-teacher meeting for Xin Xin?"

"Mm."

Yu Moxun still had social engagements and left without chatting much with Seeing Rong Ci.

Just as Seeing Rong Ci was about to return to her office, she ran into Gu Yan.

Gu Yan: "Director Rong."

Seeing Rong Ci nodded, knowing he had something to find her for, and let him enter the office to talk.

After discussing business, Gu Yan looked at her and suddenly asked: "You... have you two reconciled and are not getting a divorce?"

This morning, the matter of Seeing Rong Ci's "husband and daughter" picking her up at the airport had already spread through their department.

Moreover, according to others in the company, Seeing Rong Ci and her husband seemed to have a pretty good relationship, and it didn't look like they were going to get a divorce...

But before, she had clearly been preparing for a divorce.

Seeing Rong Ci paused, not expecting him to ask this.

She knew Gu Yan's feelings for her, and she knew she shouldn't give him hope. However, she still said truthfully: "No."

Upon hearing this, Gu Yan breathed a sigh of relief, but couldn't help asking: "I... heard that your relationship seems pretty good right now."

Seeing Rong Ci had already guessed that it was the incident last week when Feng Tingshen picked her up at the airport that had caused everyone to misunderstand.

"No, our relationship is not good." After saying this, she looked at Gu Yan and added: "However, I—"

Gu Yan knew what she wanted to say.

He coughed lightly, interrupting her words: "I'll go back to work first."

Seeing Rong Ci frowned slightly.

However, she knew Gu Yan could understand what she meant.

Regarding this, she didn't say anything more.

Two days later.

Seeing Rong Ci learned from Feng Jingxin that Feng Tingshen had returned from his business trip.

However, she had not received a call from Feng Tingshen.

Actually, she roughly knew the reason for this.

That day when she and Feng Tingshen attended the parent-teacher meeting at Feng Jingxin's school, when the teacher mentioned Feng Jingxin's reaction to their divorce, Feng Tingshen looked at her as if he were thinking of discussing with her to temporarily not get a divorce for the sake of the child...

On this point, she thought Feng Tingshen would have told her before he went on his business trip.

But he didn't speak.

Seeing Rong Ci put down her phone.

Soon, another two days passed.

Feng Tingshen had been back from his business trip for two or three days, but he still hadn't contacted her.

This day, when she went to the Feng family, she happened to see Feng Tingshen.

Yu Moxun leaned over to her ear and whispered: "He's back from his business trip? He still has time this afternoon; did he ask you to go get a divorce?"

Seeing Rong Ci shook her head.

At this moment, Feng Tingshen looked over at her. Meeting his gaze, she paused.

However, before she could react, someone called out to Feng Tingshen, and Feng Tingshen withdrew his gaze.

Seeing Rong Ci lowered her eyes.

Just as she was about to put her mind back on work, her phone suddenly rang.

It was a message from Feng Tingshen.
