Chapter 554: Worried

When she was almost done chatting with Yu Moxun, Feng Tingshen called Feng Jingxin. Feng Jingxin answered the phone happily: "Dad!"

She chatted with Feng Tingshen for two sentences, then turned her head and saw Rong Ci had finished chatting with the person, and couldn't help but ask: "Mom, do you want to say two words to Dad?"

"No need." Rong Ci stood up and picked up her water cup: "I'm going downstairs to pour a glass of water; you two chat."

"Okay."

When Rong Ci went downstairs, the others in the Rong family were chatting happily. Seeing her go downstairs, Rong Xun hurriedly asked: "Sister, everyone just discussed it and decided to go for an outing tomorrow; are you going?"

Rong Ci happened to have time, so she said: "Okay."

"Then... what about Xin Xin?"

They all knew that Feng Jingxin had already decided to go out with Feng Tingshen and the others tomorrow, and it wouldn't be very good if they decided to go out temporarily and didn't tell her.

"I will tell her."

"Okay."

Rong Ci sat down in the living room and carefully discussed the route for tomorrow's outing and the restaurants to eat at with everyone.

After they finished discussing, when Rong Ci went upstairs, Feng Jingxin hadn't finished her call yet.

However, the person chatting with her now was clearly not Feng Tingshen, but Lin Wu.

Feng Jingxin said: "I know, Aunt Wuwu, I'll rest after I hang up the phone. You and Dad also rest early, goodnight."

Rong Ci stood at the door, waiting until Feng Jingxin hung up the phone before entering the room with the water cup, and handed the cup in her hand to her.

Feng Jingxin took the water cup and smiled happily: "Thank you, Mom!"

Rong Ci said: "Just now, Great-Grandmother and the others and I decided to go out for an outing tomorrow morning; do you want to go together?"

Feng Jingxin: "Ah? Mom, you guys are also going out to play? Where are you going?"

Rong Ci roughly told Feng Jingxin about the places they were going. Feng Jingxin's eyes lit up. When Rong Ci asked her again if she wanted to go together, she lowered her eyes and said: "I really want to go, but I've already promised Dad and the others..."

Actually, it meant she wanted to go out with Feng Tingshen and the others more.

Rong Ci didn't point it out and said: "It's okay, then next time."

Hearing Rong Ci say this, Feng Jingxin breathed a sigh of relief and said happily: "I'll definitely go next time."

Rong Ci: "Mm."

The next day, the car sent by Feng Tingshen to pick up Feng Jingxin arrived very early.

Feng Jingxin not going with them didn't matter to Rong Ci, but Old Madam Rong felt a bit uncomfortable.

After Feng Jingxin went out, Rong Ci and the others also packed their things and prepared to go out. At this time, Old Madam Feng happened to contact Old Madam Rong. Upon learning they were going for an outing today, she also became interested and said she also wanted to go out to relax.

After Old Madam Feng arrived, she didn't mention Feng Tingshen. Seeing that Feng Jingxin wasn't there, she frowned, but perhaps fearing to spoil the mood, she didn't say anything in the end.

Spring was in full swing, and the weather was just right. After touring the natural scenery for half a day, Old Madam Feng's mood was much better than before she went out.

At noon, when entering the restaurant for a meal, she couldn't help but say: "It's still better to come out and walk around; without those frustrating matters, the mood is much better."

Although Old Madam Feng didn't mention Feng Tingshen, while chatting along the way, they all knew that Old Madam Feng had been in a somewhat depressed mood these past two days because of Feng Tingshen and Lin Wu's matter.

Now hearing her say this, the Rong family actually all knew that the frustrating matters she referred to were Feng Tingshen and Lin Wu's matter.

Old Madam Feng was sighing unconsciously, not specifically wanting to mention Feng Tingshen. After saying it, she felt it seemed a bit inappropriate. ===== CHAPTER 555 =====
