Chapter 107: The Seventh Son's Demon-Suppression War 2 [Ma'erjin's Terror]

~14 min read 2,778 words

Following Ailisi's introduction, another figure appeared on the palace square.

It was a middle-aged man wearing a crown, with azure-blue skin and four arms.

Each of his four arms held a blade, and he looked around vigilantly.

"This is Weilahade, said to be the king of a small kingdom, possessing the bloodline of a four-armed snake demon, and known as a master of swordsmanship."

"Then what about your mother?" Fulade continued to ask.

Fulade vaguely remembered that in the Seventh Son's Demon-Suppression War, Bonnie Liz could transform into a bloodline creature similar to a white dragon.

But exactly what it was, Fulade did not know clearly.

After all, in a film less than two hours long, there was not that much time to introduce their bloodlines and species in detail.

Under Fulade's gaze, Ailisi hesitated for a moment.

Understanding Ailisi's concern, Fulade whispered by her ear, "If I don't know your mother's abilities and an irreversible situation arises, you can't blame me."

Faced with Fulade's words that sounded like both a warning and a reminder,

Ailisi raised her charming face, glared fiercely at Fulade, and no longer continued to conceal:

"My mother is the younger sister of the Witch Ma'erjin, a Dragon Vein Sorcerer of the wyrm lineage."

"She has the ability to transform into a Tereis White Dragon Bird, with a powerful physical body, extreme speed, proficiency in wind magic, and considerable close-combat ability."

"Tereis White Dragon Bird? Then what about you? Since your mother is a Bloodline Sorcerer, logically you should be able to inherit her bloodline." Fulade had a trace of doubt.

Whether in the film or in reality, Fulade had never seen Ailisi display the bloodline abilities she should have.

This could not help but arouse a touch of curiosity in Fulade.

Facing Fulade's burning gaze, Ailisi's eyes flickered, and her somewhat slender fair chest heaved rapidly for a moment.

Her face slightly flushed, she said, "I, I haven't awakened yet."

Looking at the flushed and embarrassed Ailisi, Fulade reached out, gently cupped her charming little face, and comforted her:

"Don't worry. Since you've chosen to follow me, you are naturally the woman of Fulade, the King of Darkness. I will let you awaken your Dragon Vein Sorcerer bloodline."

Faced with Fulade's domineering declaration,

Ailisi's inexperienced little mind now felt only dazed, and her gaze toward Fulade could not help but gain a touch of infatuation.

A deep sense of security suddenly welled up in her heart.

All her previous dissatisfaction with Fulade's various threats and overbearing behavior vanished in an instant.

Looking at the young beauty who suddenly lowered her eyes and displayed a shy, joyful expression, Fulade gently pulled her into his embrace.

In his heart, though, he sighed with emotion: "What a simple, innocent girl. I must cherish her fiercely."

Just then, another voice came.

Accompanied by a powerful aura, it rapidly spread toward Fulade's direction.

"Sir, are you still not coming out? Do you still need me to personally invite you?" The voice was cold, faintly carrying a hint of ruthlessness and arrogance.

A strange, chain-like black metal tail stinger, emitting a faint cold gleam, nimbly swam around her body.

Looking closely, it was actually the metal dragon tail of the Queen of Witches, Ma'erjin.

With Ma'erjin's powerful spiritual force as a peak second-tier Bloodline Sorcerer, she quickly discovered Fulade's hidden traces.

"As expected of the Queen of Witches, Ma'erjin. You found my traces so quickly." A voice came from somewhere in the shadows outside the palace.

Just as the words rang out, ghostly black figures pierced through the mist of the night, instantly landing around the palace, faintly sealing off all routes of retreat for Ma'erjin and the others.

Facing these suddenly appearing figures, Ma'erjin and the others did not show the panic they should have; their eyes even carried a faint trace of contempt.

These figures were all the guards accompanying Fulade on this Floating Ship's maiden voyage, each possessing strength no less than that of an intermediate Witch.

Those who had reached the strength of a high-level Witch were also everywhere to be seen.

Even so, Ma'erjin and the others did not care in the slightest.

The gap in life tiers was not so easily bridged by mere numbers, not to mention that everyone had underlings of their own.

"Boom—!!"

Following an explosive crash that suddenly came from the square,

the expressions of Ma'erjin and her group finally began to gradually turn grave.

It was a petite girl, with a pair of blonde ponytails, looking exceptionally cute.

But when you noticed the crater, dozens of meters deep, that appeared out of thin air on the square because of her arrival, you knew why their expressions had turned grave.

Judging from her aura alone, one could tell this was a powerful creature no weaker than anyone present, and from the fluctuations radiating from her, her race was by no means human.

Just as Ma'erjin and the others were all guessing what race the girl was, figures carrying powerful auras appeared one after another, finally making Ma'erjin and the others change their expressions.

In the black curtain of night, another powerful aura, carrying a howling sound, pierced through layer upon layer of darkness and arrived above the square.

It was a massive swarm of black bats that hovered for a moment in midair above the square, then instantly transformed into a golden-armored general clad in golden armor and wielding a large, broad blade.

The blade in particular made Ma'erjin and the others present unable to help but size it up.

As Bloodline Sorcerers, a major subcategory of Wizards, they possessed the various characteristics of Wizards and could naturally see that the weapon in the opponent's hand was no simple thing.

It was clearly a very rare piece of magical equipment. Judging from the energy fluctuations wreathing the blade, it was actually a legendary close-combat magitech weapon.

Ma'erjin used to have one such piece of equipment, but unfortunately lost it by accident due to certain reasons.

This discovery made Ma'erjin and the others all realize the severity of the situation.

Then, above the square, a thick black mist suddenly appeared. When the black mist dispersed, a blonde Witch wearing a black magic robe, stepping in small leather high-heeled boots, and holding a wand, appeared before everyone's eyes.

This was a Dark Witch who had pledged allegiance to Fulade within the past three years.

She herself had already reached the critical point of a breakthrough. Relying on the major contributions earned from multiple missions against the Holy Court,

she gained Fulade's recognition, who bestowed upon her a vial of Greida Magic Potion, thereby reaching the strength of a first-tier Witch.

As a result, her loyalty to Fulade was very high, and she was assigned to the guard unit.

Despite her tender face and beautiful appearance, paired with long, wavy blonde hair, she looked all the more enchanting.

Her figure was graceful and fiery; even the loose magical robes could not conceal the fullness of her chest.

That was because she had broken free from the shackles of life, reaching the level of a Level One Wizard, her vitality greatly enhanced, and thus her body had been restructured and transformed, restoring part of her youth.

One should know that when they first met, the other party had the appearance of an old woman whose lifespan was nearing its end.

Though not to the point of being covered in wrinkles and gray hair, her skin had long since sagged, and the fullness of her chest was no longer what it once was.

The newcomers were none other than the female Giant Annie, Guard Captain Dumitelu, and Witch Angelique.

The three of them exuded powerful pressure, firmly locking onto Ma'erjin and the others, and the situation instantly grew tense.

"Sir, given that you possess such strength, you are surely no nobody."

She gazed at the handsome figure slowly stepping out from the shadows, standing in the center of the plaza.

Queen of Witches Ma'erjin no longer had her initial anger and arrogance; her expression had instead become much more cautious. As a senior Witch, she was not truly the brainless fool portrayed in movies.

Having been famous for many years, her wisdom was naturally not low.

When she saw Fulade and the powerful lineup beside him, Ma'erjin had already begun to suspect something.

That was why her tone had softened, wanting to probe further.

"Who I am — would Witch Ma'erjin really not know?" Fulade said with a slow smile.

"Right, my visit this time was somewhat presumptuous, so I've brought you two gifts to express my regards."

As his words fell, just as Ma'erjin and the others were feeling puzzled, two figures were tossed before them.

"Radu~! Yula~!"

Ma'erjin and the others' expressions changed drastically, and they cried out in alarm one after another.

It turned out that the two figures on the ground were none other than the Tyrannosaurus Sorcerer Radu, clad in black leather armor and barely clinging to life, and the already-dead Giant Bear Sorcerer Yula.

Looking at the two extremely wretched figures before them, only Queen Ma'erjin maintained her composure.

But upon closer inspection, a ball of fury had already begun to brew in her eyes.

"Your gifts, sir, are truly quite unique!"

"I just wonder how these two fools who don't know their place managed to provoke you." Ma'erjin's tone was rather gloomy.

As the saying goes, even when beating a dog, one must look at its master — this was completely not putting her in his eyes at all.

The reason Ma'erjin suppressed her fury was not out of fear of Fulade.

Rather, she did not want to fight a battle without even knowing the cause of this incident.

Of course, even if she knew the cause, given Ma'erjin's personality, she would never let it go — not even for Fulade, the rapidly rising King of Darkness.

At this moment, another figure slowly stepped out from the shadows behind Fulade.

"Mama."

"Ailisi, you captured my daughter, Ailisi."

Bonnie Liz, who had been standing behind Ma'erjin and was still fairly composed, could not help but change expression drastically upon seeing the slender figure emerging from the darkness, and quickly stepped forward.

Watching Fulade not obstructing the mother and daughter reuniting, Ma'erjin frowned imperceptibly, a trace of suspicion in her gaze as she sized up Ailisi.

Looking at the mother and daughter with their heads together in quiet conversation, the corners of Fulade's mouth turned up slightly, a flicker of amusement passing in a flash.

"Well~ you'll have to ask what good deed this dead bear on the ground did."

"Since Witch Ma'erjin, you can't keep your dogs in line, then don't blame me for teaching them a proper lesson on your behalf." Fulade's tone was stiff, his expression slightly gloomy, with not the slightest intention of giving Queen of Witches Ma'erjin face.

Luxi's death had sounded an alarm for Fulade — perhaps things had gone too smoothly these past few years, causing him to overlook the variables that arose beyond the events themselves.

And now, what he needed to do was to strive to minimize these variables that were gradually surfacing, whether for the sake of future development or for the safety of those around him.

"Hmph~ hehe~ hehehe."

For some unknown reason, Ma'erjin suddenly burst into manic laughter.

Beneath her black feathered gauze skirt, the pale fullness tightly outlined by the black corset shook violently, extremely alluring.

Just as Fulade frowned with a puzzled look, Ma'erjin suddenly turned a cold, stern gaze toward him, and on her plump, pale face, a trace of lofty pride revealed itself.

It was as if to say, I've seen through your trick — that look of disdain was practically written all over her face.

"My sister and your daughter seem to have finished chatting — tell me, what conditions did he offer us!" Ma'erjin's words were shocking, clearly having discerned the conversation between mother and daughter. No wonder she looked at Fulade with such disdain.

Under Ailisi's stunned gaze, Bonnie Liz cast a binding spell, sent her flying far away, then responded with disdain: "Nothing more than wanting us to surrender. The terms were quite generous, but it's nothing but wishful thinking."

Ma'erjin gave Bonnie Liz a rather approving glance, but failed to notice the trace of unease deep in Bonnie Liz's eyes.

Based on Bonnie's understanding of Ma'erjin's personality, anyone who dared to betray her would never come to a good end.

And her daughter Ailisi's actions had likely already aroused Ma'erjin's displeasure.

Just as Bonnie was secretly worrying, a gaze shot toward her.

Turning her head to look, she found it was actually Fulade — the one bearing the title of King of Darkness across from her.

And right at this moment, a resounding dragon roar suddenly rang out.

A powerful aura instantly spread from Ma'erjin, enveloping everyone present.

Whether it was Fulade's subordinates Annie, Dumitelu, or Angelique.

Or the people under Ma'erjin — at this moment, a look of horror appeared on all their faces.

"Didn't the intel say she hadn't recovered yet? How could she be… this strong!"

Among them, Angelique, who had just been promoted to a Level One Witch, felt it most acutely — a chill rising from the depths of her heart suddenly swept through her entire body, and under that intimidating pressure, her body instantly tensed up.

That was a warning emanating from the deepest reaches of her body's genes, the natural suppression of a higher-tier creature over a lower one.

"Such a powerful aura — is that… dragon might?" Fulade's expression was slightly grave; clearly, Ma'erjin's strength was somewhat beyond his expectations.

Ma'erjin leapt up, and her plump, graceful figure, in an instant, transformed into a massive dragon over thirty meters long.

Black, thick dragon scales, ferocious bone spurs, and a horny layer as savage as alloy covered the enormous body. The giant crimson eyes, with every blink, a terrifying aura instantly spread toward Fulade and the others.

The powerful energy fluctuations and the formidable pressure generated by the Life Magnetic Field also reached their peak with the completion of the transformation.

The energy flow within the bodies of the figures below all grew somewhat sluggish — let alone the extraordinary creatures below Level One.

Looking up at the massive figure that obscured the entire palace sky, a trace of shock surfaced in everyone's eyes.

Just as everyone's hands and feet turned cold and they stood ready for battle, a cold, authoritative female voice rang out alongside a resounding dragon roar that echoed through the vast mountain range: "Junior, if you want me, Ma'erjin, Queen of Witches, to bow my head, it is not impossible — but you will have to show me just how much you are worth, whether you can survive my hands."

"Crash—!! Boom—!!"

Before the words had even faded, a sharp dragon tail, radiating piercing cold light and resembling a chain, swept horizontally toward Fulade and the others in an instant — utterly arrogant to the extreme.

Just as Annie and the others tensed, magic surging, ready to intercept, a voice came from behind them.

The instant the voice rang out, the pressure weighing on everyone's hearts suddenly loosened, and they turned to look.

They saw that, under everyone's shocked gaze and Ma'erjin's slightly arrogant stare, Fulade had abruptly completed his transformation into Demon form as well.

"Ma'erjin, your opponent is me!" The voice was like thunder, exploding in everyone's ears in an instant.

This was a terrifying figure in no way inferior to Ma'erjin — upon ferocious crimson armor wafted wisps of bright red flame, and two curved, savage Demon horns thrust straight into the sky, flames coiling around them and blazing fiercely.

Deep crimson eyes, carrying profound malice, swept over Ma'erjin's subordinates; then, under everyone's shocked gaze, the metal dragon tail that they would have had to desperately resist was instantly grasped in Fulade's hand, as though it were the most effortless thing in the world.

"Screech!!"

The sound of the sharp metal dragon tail violently grinding against the Demon's claws rang out, sparks flying in all directions; Ma'erjin broke free of Fulade's grip, a flash of gravity passing through her eyes.

"Roar—!!"

A dragon roar erupted, dragon might ran rampant, and a will-born voice sounded in everyone's ears: "A Demon!? Fulade, I truly underestimated you."

Ma'erjin's massive dragon wings beat slowly, carrying great currents of air as she surged into the night sky; then, with a dragon's roar, a powerful and scorching energy fluctuation suddenly began to permeate the mountain air!
