Chapter 135: Clash
This is the first time since Fulade advanced to Level Three that firepower is fully unleashed, exploding at full speed.
Even at Fulade's terrifying, sound‑barrier‑breaking speed, it still took nearly four hours to travel from Moor Forest to the northern canyon where the incident occurred.
A powerful sound wave rose from the sky.
Below, the endless blue sea, in an instant, was whipped by the strong airflow like wind over wheat, constantly surging toward both sides.
A deep green, cliff‑like chasm suddenly formed.
When Fulade arrived near that Space Rift.
They suddenly discovered that someone had already arrived here ahead of time.
Intense battle ripples, centered on the Space Rift in that valley, kept expanding.
Awooo~!! a high‑pitched dragon roar rang out.
A black colossal dragon about fifty meters long, its tail rattling like mechanical chains with a crisp clank, spewed scorching dragon flame, continuously clearing the enemies before it!
The black dragon was, unmistakably, Ma'erjin.
Around her swarmed green insects unmistakably tinged with an otherworldly aura.
A rough glance revealed there were hundreds.
Leading them was a Level Two Bug General, five‑headed, eight to nine meters tall, with six wings bearing silver patterns.
Its bright red insect eyes showed a trace of fear yet an indescribable greed, its lotus‑shaped snarling maw constantly emitted a hissing, whistling sound.
Under the desperate cover of the massive green insects, it cunningly roamed around the black dragon, giving Ma'erjin considerable trouble.
But it was only trouble, after all.
Once the swarm is depleted, this fragile balance will be shattered in an instant, at most merely wasting some effort.
If Ma'erjin hadn't been entangled up close by the green insects from the start, she would have already used her best magic to blast those disgusting bugs to dust! She wouldn't have been tangled by those damned insects until now! Near the valley, aside from Ma'erjin's battlefield.
Not far away, two more intense battle ripples were coming.
Looking far ahead.
In the northern part of the valley stood a powerful penguin with Level Three Life Tier.
Although merely a penguin, its strength was not to be underestimated!
As the chubby penguin's hand emitted flashing light, each flash signaled the arrival of a powerful monster or a special life form.
In the leisurely interval, its demeanor remained unusually calm.
Fulade focused his gaze and saw that the penguin was holding a stack of strange items resembling tarot cards.
Another tarot‑like card was tossed high.
The light flickered.
A faintly radiant female special life form suddenly appeared before the penguin.
It was the silhouette of a female angel wielding eight white wings.
"Angel—no, that is…!!"
Fulade's breath caught, his eyes widened in shock.
"Holy Arrow!"
A crisp sound rang out.
An energy arrow radiating strong holy aura shot straight toward the approaching Level Two Bug General.
Watching the eight white wings flutter, a pink ribbon floated around its graceful form.
Its originally fair face was covered by a metal mask, revealing only a delicate jaw.
It wasn't the celestial beast from Digimon, so what was it! Apparently noticing Fulade's gaze, the celestial beast dealt with a close‑range Level One Bug monster, then turned to glance at Fulade.
But after seeing Fulade, its gaze turned cold, seeming unfriendly.
Fulade naturally noticed this, gave a wry smile, and suppressed his curiosity, calmly turning his gaze to another battlefield.
There stood a powerful witch whose Life Tier had reached Level Three.
Her skin was fair, her figure graceful.
On her exquisitely delicate face, bright eyes were tinged with a faint indifference.
From the Life Magnetic Field fluctuations, one could tell that although she seemed young, her age was certainly not small.
When Fulade looked, the powerful Level Three witch had calmly finished chanting, brandishing her staff. As a strong magical rhythm formed, the measured elemental particles in the air instantly coalesced into a rolling black cloud.
The black cloud spread over the heavens, instantly covering the entire sky.
But after a moment, a series of booming sounds rose.
Terrifyingly powerful purple lightning began flashing repeatedly within the violently churning black cloud.
The unsuspecting insects were instantly flattened like dumplings, losing more than half!
The witch's strength is evident here! Yet what truly drew Fulade and the others' attention were the endless magical shields surrounding her.
It is precisely these magical defenses that allow the witch to calmly wield powerful sorcery, producing such terrifying damage.
Perhaps it was the stimulation caused by the witch.
Ma'erjin, who has long held the title of Queen of Witches, instantly refused to be outdone.
Relying on her mighty physique, she forced her way out of the insect swarm, and her obscure draconic magic began to echo across the sky.
Just as Fulade was observing, in the valley below, a powerful bug monster wielding a terrifying arm‑blade had already forced its massive body out by more than half.
It seemed to sense a strong crisis.
This massive Level Three Bug King, about thirty meters long, six wings on its back with golden patterns, disregarding its own injuries, forced its way toward the Dark World.
Accompanied by a fierce, ever‑stirring aura and a series of howls, it finally attracted Fulade's attention.
"Mid‑Level Three! Hmph, strength is not weak."
Although Fulade is only at the early stage of Level Three, the power boost from the Demon transformation compensates for the gap.
Moreover, after advancing to Level Three, Fulade barely gained the qualification to begin touching the law.
Although Fulade only digested and comprehended a strand of the law's power within the Dark Fire Divine Spark, his strength has already increased considerably.
Gazing at the Level Three Bug King below, Fulade ceased his idle chatter.
A flash of blood‑flame fangs in his hand, and Fulade instantly vanished into the sky.
In the next instant, clashing sounds of gold and iron rang out, accompanied by terrifying explosions, echoing continuously through the valley.
"What a fast speed!"
Strong gusts, along with countless knife shadows across the sky, made Fulade's eyes narrow slightly as he silently sighed.
As collisions kept occurring, the hindered Bug King eventually fell into a disadvantage.
Seeing a massive blood‑red beam shoot toward it, the Level Three Bug King, unable to dodge, let out a mournful screech.
In an instant, a flash of light enveloped him, the sky‑full of knife shadows vanished, and a massive emerald arm‑blade folded and rose before him, turning into a green giant shield that barely blocked the attack.
In the next moment, the gigantic Bug King glared fiercely, disregarding its own injuries; with a swift slash, it actually sliced off the part of its body still lodged in the Space Rift.
That's ruthless.
Fulade stared at the scene before him, and couldn't help but feel a chill.
The massive Bug King finally broke free of its restraints, involuntarily emitting a thrilling yet piercing screech.
Then its eyes turned blood‑red, glaring fiercely at Fulade.
While Fulade was on guard, the Bug King opposite, exuding a fierce aura, spoke: "Strong ones from another plane, I have no intention of opposing you; if you cease now, I will let it pass."
Hearing this, Fulade froze in surprise, then burst into a hearty laugh.
It seems the other side already feels certain of victory, full of confidence.
I truly don't know where that confidence comes from! The huge Bug eyes looked toward the three battlefields in the sky; although the insect hordes were already waning, there was not a hint of panic.
"How about it? If you agree, we can have peace…"
"Beerus, your nonsense is truly excessive!"
Before the Bug King could finish, a slightly arrogant, piercing screech suddenly rang out.
Accompanying it was a terrifying life force!
Fulade turned his gaze as the voice echoed, seeing the Space Rift, which had calmed earlier, now shaking violently again.
A clearly far stronger aura than that of the Bug King before him surged rapidly from the other end of the Space Rift toward this side!
ps: I've had family matters these past few days, so updates are a bit unstable; sorry, godfathers.
