This was a world of relatively dim light, and at the same time, a bizarre world.

Above the sky, the sun and the moon echoed each other, coexisting simultaneously.

Faint gray gas permeated the sky, rendering the entire earth relatively dim.

Countless terrifying creatures were densely spread across the sky, the earth, and the ocean, standing in battle formation as though a great war was about to erupt.

Fulade stood upon a plain.

All around him were densely packed creatures of various races.

As far as the eye could see, it was boundless.

Giant dragons roared in the sky, flocks of ravens flapped their wings, and all manner of flying creatures filled every part of the heavens.

No, not just flying creatures—Fulade could clearly see countless humanoid beings floating in the sky as well.

The same was true upon the earth.

Various crawling creatures, and all manner of races.

Enormous dragon-kin, mysterious giant lizards covered in fearsome bone spikes, colossal skeletons wreathed in ghost fire, mountain Giants covered in slabs of stone.

And this was only what Fulade's eyes could reach.

"Where is this? Why am I here?" Fulade looked around blankly, his face filled with confusion.

Gazing at the unfamiliar surroundings, a wave of bewilderment rose in his heart.

Wasn't I just resisting the Underworld Fire Demon King's control over my body?

"That is—!?" Fulade suddenly looked up at the sky, only to see a blood moon suspended in the heavens, radiating an eerie aura.

Blood-red light shone upon the gray gas in the sky, lending this world an even greater sense of strangeness and oppression.

This was a world belonging to darkness, filled with it.

"Such rich dark aura."

Looking at the strange sight of the sun and moon coexisting in the sky, before Fulade could even sigh in wonder, the light before his eyes dimmed, and all the surrounding scenery vanished.

In its place came a fierce—no, a brutal slaughter.

As far as the eye could see, the sky was as though a torrential rain was falling—red, green, blue, black, all kinds of bizarre liquids.

Looking at the raindrops falling on his palm, Fulade felt not the slightest chill.

These were the blood of various creatures and races.

And the ones locked in combat with these creatures were—"Angels—!!" Fulade's eyes snapped wide open as he looked at the brutal battlefield where fierce combat was unfolding all around.

"Could this be that catastrophe from thousands of years ago?"

Facing the fiercely battling battlefield, Fulade suddenly understood where this was.

"This is—the Underworld Fire Demon King's memory!?"

Only now did Fulade realize that he was actually residing within the Underworld Fire Demon King's body at this moment.

Only, the Underworld Fire Demon King at this time clearly had not revealed his true body of law—his form of merely a dozen or so meters appeared quite small among the surrounding creatures.

And around him were several towering presences hundreds of meters tall, radiating terrifying auras: headless knights clad in armor and bound in chains.

A horrifying demon dragon covered in black scale-armor, with fearsome bone spikes spread across its entire body.

An elemental being, entirely blue, radiating an intense frosty chill, constantly freezing the surrounding space.

A terrifying Wizard wielding a magic staff, having manifested his true elemental form, shrouded in a thick mass of black mist.

Before Fulade could continue his observation, a grand and resonant hymn suddenly rang out.

Fulade hastily looked up, only to see ripples like water spreading across the sky, as if something was trying to tear apart the sky of this world.

Accompanied by a terrifying and vast shockwave of energy descending from the heavens.

As Fulade subconsciously held his breath, watching with eyes full of shock.

Several slender fingers, white as jade, suddenly pierced through the somewhat dim sky, and terrifying pitch-black rhombus-shaped rifts abruptly appeared between those fingers.

As those several snow-white fingers began forcefully tearing outward, the entire world seemed to tremble violently. Accompanied by resounding 'Crack—Crack—' noises that echoed throughout the world.

As though porcelain was shattering, or glazed glass was breaking apart.

The sky of the entire world began to let out a painful groan under the ravaging of those slender, snow-white fingers.

As though its last armor had been torn away, a narrow rift over a hundred li long gradually appeared within Fulade's field of vision.

Beyond the world's barrier, an enormous eye radiating a sacred aura was pressed against the torn rift, gazing around and scrutinizing this world.

A gaze like one regarding ants, brimming with sheer malice.

"Heretics—!!"

"Purge this filthy world—!!"

As this cold and indifferent voice rang out.

A vast legion of a million angels, forming grand angelic battle arrays, chanting magnificent and resonant hymns of light, carrying fervent battle will, along with the burning faith and determination to purge all heretics.

Descended upon this world filled with sin, proclaiming to these heretics who had profaned the light that judgment had arrived! Below, with just one glance, before he could even make out the appearance of the owner of that sacred eye, Fulade felt a violent pain at his eyes and subconsciously cried out.

Within the skeletal space, the unconscious Fulade suddenly sat upright, clutching his eyes in agony, letting out a blood-curdling scream.

"Phew—it's fine, I'm okay." In the end, Fulade realized it was just a false alarm and hurriedly raised his arm to wipe away the cold sweat seeping from his brow.

Only the next moment, Fulade looked at his missing right hand before him and said in disbelief, "Where's my hand—!! Ah, no, the important thing is—"

"Where is the Underworld Fire Demon King!?"

Fulade looked all around, and finally saw that the giant crater where the Underworld Fire Demon King had originally stood was now completely empty, with only a layer of grayish-white powder left in place.

"Turned to ash—!!" Fulade said in disbelief.

Then he continued looking around and discovered that within a radius of several dozen li, a ring-shaped mountain range of bones a hundred meters tall had appeared, and he was right beneath this mountain range.

"What exactly happened here." A thread of doubt crept into his heart.

He only remembered charging toward that broken sword at the end, but before he could swing his arm down, he had lost consciousness.

What exactly happened in between, ultimately causing the Underworld Fire Demon King to disappear, yet I myself survived.

However, upon noticing the surrounding ring of skeletal mountain ranges, Fulade felt that the most pressing issue now was to leave this place quickly.

"It's too dangerous; this place is not somewhere I can explore right now." Fulade muttered.

As his words fell, Fulade unfurled his bat wings and hurried toward the mijing senlin.

A transparent ripple passed through space, and when Fulade saw the mijing senlin again, he unconsciously really let out a sigh of relief.

"I don't know how vast that skeletal space is; having entered for less than half a day, I already encountered such danger—going deeper, the peril will only increase."

Fulade glanced back with lingering fear, then did not linger any longer.

Soon, Fulade returned to Ailu's home again, but upon arriving, he discovered a group of about ten or more demon hunters who had already surrounded the dwelling.

They kept raising their crossbows and continuously firing at the house.

Ailu and the others trapped inside the house could not exert any of their centaur advantages under these circumstances.

Seeing this, Fulade did not hesitate; although his condition was not great at the moment, dealing with these demon hunters was still no problem.

All that could be seen was Fulade turning into a dense swarm of bats, letting out a shout, and swooping down upon those demon hunters.

At the same time, the blood witchcraft was suddenly activated.

In the eyes of the astonished or terrified demon hunters, their bodies halted their attacks due to the surging blood rioting within them.

They began to use their own primal force to suppress the suddenly rampaging blood inside them.

At that moment, Fulade, transformed into a vast bat swarm, swept through like a locust plague.

In an instant, several dozen demon hunters, unable to muster their internal power in time, turned deathly pale and perished in the mouths of the bat swarm.

"Huh~" Red light continually flickered in his eyes.

Watching the flesh on his right wrist continually regrow, Fulade couldn't help but slowly exhale a breath.
