Noticing that Bai Hanyun was deep in thought, Feng Xiyan did not disturb her and returned to the kitchen to bring out the rest of the dishes.

A few minutes later, Feng Xiyan took off the pink apron and called out to Bai Hanyun, "Yun’er, it’s time to eat."

Hearing this, Bai Hanyun came back to her senses and responded, "Oh, coming."

Standing up from the couch, she stored the communication talisman back into her black spatial ring before joining Feng Xiyan for dinner.

Far away in Shang Du City, Zu Wu parked his sports car outside the Pei Mansion. Nodding to the servant who opened the door for him, he hurried upstairs toward Pei Jianyuan’s study.

Opening the door, Zu Wu saw Pei Jianyuan sitting behind the mahogany desk and said, "I’m sorry to visit you at this hour, CEO Pei."

Knowing that Zu Wu would not come at night time unless it was an important matter, Pei Jianyuan looked up from the document he was reading and asked, "What’s wrong?"

Standing before him, Zu Wu placed an invitation card in front of him and explained, "CEO Pei, this is an invitation card for the grand opening of Bai Feng Antique Store."

"Just now, CEO Yu’s assistant delivered this to the office. I thought you might want to attend the event, so I came to deliver it right away."

Listening to his explanation, Pei Jianyuan fell silent as he stared at the invitation card in front of him.

"Bai Feng Antique Store..." He thought for a few seconds before looking at Zu Wu and asking, "Is this Hanyun’s antique store?"

Zu Wu nodded. "Yes, CEO Pei."

The moment he received confirmation, Pei Jianyuan ordered, "Cancel all work scheduled after noon tomorrow."

Understanding that he intended to attend the event, Zu Wu quickly responded, "Yes, CEO Pei. I will rearrange the schedule right away."

He paused for a second before asking, "CEO Pei, do you want to stay at the villa in Fu Rong City or at a hotel in Fu Cheng Town?"

"Just arrange a hotel in Fu Cheng Town," Pei Jianyuan replied calmly.

"Alright."

After saying that, Zu Wu added, "Then I won’t disturb your rest any longer. Good evening, CEO Pei."

Pei Jianyuan hummed in response before staring once again at the invitation card.

Seeing that he was deep in thought, Zu Wu silently left the study.

When the sound of the closing door echoed through the silent room, Pei Jianyuan finally picked up the invitation card and opened it.

As he traced the words printed on the invitation card with his slightly trembling fingertips, Pei Jianyuan whispered with a mixture of expectation and nervousness in his voice, "Tomorrow, we will finally meet."

"Father does not hope for your forgiveness in this life. Father only wants to see you, even if it is from afar."

While his humble words, filled with longing and love, echoed faintly through the quiet room, the moon slowly climbed higher into the night sky, and the bustling world gradually fell into slumber.

That night, the light in the study remained on until the first ray of sunlight broke through the eastern horizon, slowly waking the sleeping world.

When the sky brightened and the sun slowly climbed into the morning sky, Bai Hanyun’s alarm went off.

Disturbed by the alarm, Bai Hanyun groped around before grabbing her phone from the bedside table. Without opening her eyes, she turned off the alarm.

"Hoam~!" Lying on the bed, she yawned and stretched lazily.

After a few moments of gathering her thoughts, Bai Hanyun slowly opened her eyes. Unlocking her phone, she checked the time and saw that it was already seven in the morning.

The grand opening ceremony of Bai Feng Antique Store would begin at ten in the morning, so she still had two hours to eat breakfast and get ready.

She yawned again before getting out of bed and heading to the bathroom. While she was taking a shower, Feng Xiyan and the others had already finished their morning training.

By the time Bai Hanyun came downstairs, Feng Xiyan and Feng Wu had already prepared a simple breakfast.

Seeing her coming downstairs wearing a modern-style Hanfu dress, Feng Xiyan walked up to her.

Feng Wu put down the plate of steamed buns and clasped his fists. "Good morning, Fairy Bai."

Glancing at his watch, Feng Xiyan said, "It’s almost nine o’clock now. We should eat first and then go to the store."

The three of them then sat around the dining table and began eating.

Just as Bai Hanyun took a bite of a crunchy fried dough stick, the door opened from outside.

Turning toward the door, she saw Hua Yuyu and his brothers wearing black suits with communication devices attached to their ears.

"Good morning, Brothers. Have you eaten breakfast? Do you want to join us?"

Hua Yuyu took an empty seat beside Feng Wu and said, "Good morning, Miss Bai. We will accompany you to the grand opening ceremony today."

Bai Hanyun nodded in agreement before responding, "Alright. There will be at least fifty guests today. We should be careful in case someone causes trouble."

"Understood."

As Hua Yuyu and the others joined them for breakfast, Bai Hanyun took out more food from her black spatial ring.

Half an hour later, the group finished breakfast and drove to Fu Cheng Town.
