Chapter 1373: Third Anniversary Ceremony (2)
Luojia's Rosary stopped.
"Father, will they come?"
Yingzhou turned around to look at him.
"Unless they want to sour our relationship, not to mention those smaller factions.
They always want to know what we are going to do next; this time, let them see it clearly."
Horus asked.
"If they don't come, are we going to attack them?"
Yingzhou looked at him.
"We are not bandits; don't go around shouting about fighting and killing at every turn. If they don't come, it means they don't give us face. Not giving us face means not giving the Xiuluo Holy Star Alliance face. Not giving the Xiuluo Holy Star Alliance face means they don't care about the peace and stability of the Bode Star System. When the time comes, we naturally have ways to deal with it."
The corners of Horus's mouth lifted slightly.
"Understood."
Yingzhou pulled up the Holographic Star Map.
"After the ceremony, we need to strengthen border defenses. Although the mirror rift is closed, the entity on the other side is still there.
You have all seen Magnus's Psionic Echo; the Heretics over there are very likely looking for a way to get through."
Magnus nodded.
"Father is right."
Yingzhou looked at the star map.
"Therefore, we need to deploy permanent forces in the four directions of the Bode Star System."
His finger swept across the star map.
"Southern border, Rogal Dorn, the Imperial Fists fleet will continue to be stationed there; your fortifications are the most complete."
Dorn nodded.
"Understood."
Yingzhou's finger moved to the west side.
"Western border, Mortarion. The Dusk Raiders will be stationed between the Ash Star Alliance and the Canaan Star Alliance. Although those two alliances are behaving themselves now, we cannot rule out the possibility that something might go wrong with their brains."
Mortarion nodded in silence.
Yingzhou's finger moved to the east side.
"Eastern border, Ferrus, the Iron Hands will be stationed there. The Luoke Empire could take any action. With you there, they will have to consider the consequences before they act recklessly."
Ferrus nodded.
"Understood."
Yingzhou's finger moved to the north side.
"Northern border, Jaghatai. The White Scars fleet has the fastest speed. If there is any anomaly, you can arrive at the first moment."
Jaghatai nodded.
"The White Scars will not be slow."
Yingzhou closed the star map.
"The four of you, start preparing after you go back today. Depart immediately after the ceremony ends."
The four of them nodded simultaneously.
Yingzhou's gaze turned to the few people on the left side of the desk.
"Angron, Vulkan, Guilliman, Luojia, Magnus... the five of you stay behind."
"You are responsible for the security of Xiuluo Holy Star during the ceremony. Angron, you are responsible for ground defense and the inspection of visiting Aliens. Vulkan, you are responsible for the contingency plan for civilians in case of emergencies; although it won't be needed, it must exist. Guilliman, you are responsible for diplomatic reception. Luojia, you are responsible for the ceremony proceedings. Magnus, if there are any psionic anomalies, I leave it to you."
The five of them nodded simultaneously.
Yingzhou looked at Guilliman.
"Guilliman, you will draft the specific plan for the ceremony. The invitation list, schedule, and reception standards—get them out as soon as possible."
Guilliman recorded quickly. "Understood."
Yingzhou looked at Luojia. "Luojia, you are skilled at preaching. You prepare the speeches needed for the ceremony."
Luojia nodded. "Yes, Father."
Yingzhou looked at Magnus.
"Magnus, there might be Psionics sneaking in during the ceremony. There are also psionic races among the Alien factions; you are responsible for monitoring all psionic fluctuations."
Magnus said.
"Understood."
Yingzhou looked at Vulkan.
"Vulkan, your Salamanders Legion is responsible for the protection of the people of Xiuluo Holy Star. If any accidents occur during the ceremony, the safety of the people is the top priority."
Vulkan nodded.
"I will arrange it well."
Yingzhou finally looked at Angron.
"Angron, the ground security is left to you."
Angron said. "Good."
"Horus, Sanguinius, Corax. The three of you will not participate in the ceremony."
Horus raised an eyebrow.
"Father?"
Yingzhou looked at the markings on the star map.
"During the ceremony, your fleets will remain on standby for repairs."
Sanguinius asked.
"Who are the targets?"
The corners of Yingzhou's mouth curled up slightly.
"The Sargon Free Territory, the Zelar Commercial Alliance, the Viridian United Kingdom, the Octavia Duchy, and those forces secretly researching rift technology. Selina will send the list to you."
He stood up and walked to the window.
"After the ceremony ends, wait for the representatives of those forces to leave the Xiuluo Holy Star and return to their territories, then you will depart. Horus, you go to the Sargon Free Territory. Sanguinius, you go to the Viridian United Kingdom. Corax, you go to the Zelar Commercial Alliance."
Corax spoke up.
"Father, the Zelar Commercial Alliance has secret contact with the Kroke Empire. If they seek help from the Kroke Empire, will there be diplomatic disputes?"
Yingzhou did not turn around.
"The Kroke Empire will not fall out with us over a commercial alliance."
Corax nodded.
"Understood."
Sanguinius asked.
"Father, to what extent should we go?"
Yingzhou turned to look at him.
"The specific situation depends on their behavior after they arrive."
The primarchs across the desk listened quietly.
Yingzhou looked at each of them.
"Kill the chicken to warn the monkey; we must let other forces see our resolve so that the Bode Star System can be stable."
Horus stood up.
"The Luna Wolves' fleet is ready to depart at any time."
Sanguinius also stood up.
"The Blood Angels are standing by."
"The Raven Guard's flight paths have already been planned."
Yingzhou nodded.
"Go back and prepare; once the ceremony ends and those Alien representatives leave the Xiuluo Holy Star, you will depart."
Dorn spoke up.
"Father, Perturabo is still at the construction site in the East District."
Yingzhou picked up his teacup.
"If he doesn't want to come, there is no need to force him."
Dorn was silent for a moment.
"The public works projects he is doing are very good; the Xiuluo Holy Star is much better than before."
Yingzhou nodded.
"Everyone has their own battlefield; Perturabo's battlefield is not in the Meeting Room, but at the construction site. Let him go, no need to rush him."
Horus interjected.
"Perturabo was given a hard time by Dorn yesterday; I reckon he won't be coming back today."
Dorn looked at him and said.
"I wasn't talking about him; I was talking about his drainage pipe plan."
Horus laughed out loud.
"Right, the drainage pipes."
Guilliman's corners of his mouth curled up slightly.
"Horus, we are in a meeting."
Horus waved his hand.
"I'll laugh after the meeting is over."
Yingzhou ignored their banter.
"Continue. After the ceremony, the border deployment will be completed. Just because those troublemakers in Sargon are pulled out doesn't mean we can relax."
He looked at Magnus.
"Although the mirror rift is closed, there is no guarantee when the other side will master the method to open it."
The smile on Magnus's face faded.
"My psychic perception has been monitoring it constantly."
Yingzhou's fingers tapped lightly on the tabletop again.
"The monitoring cannot stop. Report to me regularly."
Magnus nodded.
