Chapter 1406: The Three Arrive at the Daikong Star Alliance

The diplomatic fleet of the Daikong Star Alliance finally arrived at the Capital Star after sailing for dozens of hours.

The flagship led the way, descending toward the planet's surface.

The Spaceport had already cleared the surrounding berths.

Aolana stood beside the berth, with two rows of honor guards in dark blue ceremonial uniforms behind her.

She wore a dark gray diplomatic gown, her hair coiled at the back of her head.

The ship came to a steady stop, and the boarding ramp was lowered.

Fulgrim walked out first, with Leman Russ following behind.

Yingxin came out last, standing on the ramp and looking at the unfamiliar city before her, her eyes sparkling.

"Brother Fulgrim, the houses here are so short."

Yingxin said.

Fulgrim said.

"The architectural style of the Daikong Star Alliance is different from ours."

Yingxin walked down the ramp, and Aolana stepped forward to meet them, bowing slightly.

"Lord Fulgrim, Lord Leman Russ, Lord Yingxin.

Welcome to the Daikong Star Alliance. I am Aolana, a protocol officer from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Commissioner sent me to receive you."

Fulgrim nodded.

"Hello."

Aolana turned to the side, making a gesture of invitation.

"Please come with me; vehicles are already prepared. Accommodations have been arranged at the best hotel on the Capital Star, and the Commissioner will come to visit you personally this evening."

Fulgrim took Yingxin's hand and followed Aolana toward the parking lot.

Leman Russ followed behind, his gaze sweeping over the surrounding honor guards and staff.

Three black hovercars were parked in the lot; the doors opened, and Aolana invited the three to board.

The vehicles started and drove out of the Spaceport.

Yingxin leaned against the car window, looking at the city outside.

The buildings of the Daikong Star Alliance Capital Star were not tall, mostly gray-white stone houses; the streets were narrow, and there was little greenery.

"Brother Fulgrim, the houses here are all so old."

Fulgrim said.

"The history of the Daikong Star Alliance is much longer than that of the Xiuluo Holy Star, and their architectural style retains many traditional Elemental elements."

Leman Russ leaned back in his seat.

"Old doesn't necessarily mean bad; their city is very quiet, not as bustling as the Xiuluo Holy Star."

Yingxin turned back to ask.

"Brother Leman, do you like it here?"

"I can't say I like it or dislike it, but I don't hate it either."

The vehicles passed through the urban area, entered a quiet neighborhood, and stopped in front of a gray-white building.

Aolana got out of the car and led them inside.

The lobby was very quiet, the floor paved with dark marble, and several landscape paintings hung on the walls.

Yingxin asked.

"Aunt Aolana, what is this place?"

"The Diplomatic Residence, specifically for receiving foreign guests. The Commissioner said that the three of you are honored guests of the Xiuluo Holy Star Alliance and must not be neglected. This place has been cleared out; you are the only ones staying in the entire building."

"Oh, I see."

The elevator doors opened; the corridor was wide, the carpet was dark blue, and there was a wall lamp every few meters on the walls.

Aolana led them to the end of the corridor and pushed open a door.

"This is the suite. It has a living room, bedroom, study, and dining room. The three of you can stay here; there are two more rooms next door if you need to use them."

Yingxin ran into the living room, where fruit and snacks were laid out on the coffee table.

The floor-to-ceiling windows offered a view of the garden outside; Yingxin ran to the window and stood on tiptoe to look out.

"Brother Fulgrim, it's so big here."

Fulgrim walked in and looked around, checking every room, then nodded to Leman Russ.

Leman Russ stood in the center of the living room, his hands in his pockets.

"This place is alright."

Yingxin ran back and tugged on Fulgrim's sleeve.

"Brother Fulgrim, can we go out and take a look?"

Fulgrim said.

"Wait until we are settled in. Do not run around. You said the houses here were old while in the car; just because the houses here are old does not mean there is no danger."

Yingxin pouted.

"Got it."

Aolana stood at the doorway.

"The three of you should rest first; lunch has been prepared in the dining room. If you need anything, press the Communication Device on the table, and someone will come to serve you. The Commissioner will come to visit you this evening."

Fulgrim said.

"Thank you."

Yingxin raised her hand.

"Are there any rooms here similar to where one can do some small experiments?"

"Of course, on the second floor."

"Good, can I go there in a while?"

"Of course you can, but please mind your safety."

After Aolana finished speaking, she turned and left.

Yingxin ran to the sofa and jumped onto it.

She picked up a cushion and curled up in the corner of the sofa.

"Eh? This is actually quite comfortable."

Leman Russ sat opposite her, picked up a strangely shaped fruit, and took a bite.

"The people here are very polite to us, but we don't know what they are thinking inside; do not let your guard down."

Fulgrim nodded.

"Leman is right. Xiaoxiner, don't run around by yourself. If you want to go anywhere, let me and Leman accompany you."

Yingxin nodded.

"Got it, you guys are so long-winded."

Leman Russ laughed.

"You complain that we are long-winded, why didn't you think you were bold when you snuck onto the ship yourself?"

Yingxin said unconvinced.

"That was an expedition."

Leman Russ said.

"The expedition almost explored you right into the Alien's country."

Yingxin threw the cushion at Leman Russ, and Leman Russ caught it.

"Too little strength, have you been slacking on your training lately?"

"What a joke, I can already bend Brother Angron's little finger!"

"Uh... is it possible that Angron did it on purpose?"

"Eh? Brother Leman, you are so sour~"

Leman Russ shook his head helplessly.

"You..."

Fulgrim stood in front of the window, looking outside.

Leman Russ walked over.

"What are you thinking about?"

"When will Father send someone?"

Leman Russ said.

"Soon, Father won't let us stay in the Alien's country for too long."

Yingxin also ran over and stood on tiptoe to look outside.

"Brother Fu, what are you looking at?"

"Looking at the stars."

"Are the stars here the same as the stars on Xiuluo Holy Star?"

"About the same, after all, they are all just planets."

On the other side, Aolana walked into the Diplomat Commissioner's office.

Kewake sat at the desk with several documents spread out in front of him.

Seeing Aolana return, he asked.

"Is it arranged?"

Aolana nodded.

"It is arranged. They are staying at the Diplomatic Residence, which has already been cleared. The three children are in a stable mood and have not made any requests."

Kewake leaned back in his chair.

"When will the Emperor's fleet arrive?"

Aolana said.

"In 48 hours at the earliest. Their fleet is very fast."

"Aolana, how will the Emperor handle this matter?"

Aolana replied.

"I heard from the Xiuluo Holy Star Alliance side that the Emperor believes the children snuck onto the ship themselves and that we were not involved. The Emperor can distinguish right from wrong. After this matter, the relationship between the Daikong Star Alliance and the Xiuluo Holy Star Alliance will be closer, which is not a bad thing."

Kewake nodded.

"I hope so."

Aolana said.

"Commissioner, if there is nothing else, I will go and prepare."

Kewake waved his hand.

"Go."

Aolana turned and left, and the door closed behind her.

On the other side, Yingxin quietly brought Leman Russ to the second floor of the Diplomatic Residence, and when she saw that there were indeed some jars and containers inside, Yingxin's eyes lit up again.

"On Xiuluo Holy Star, Mother always forbids me from doing these experiments; it's perfect to try them here."

Leman Russ watched curiously as Yingxin tinkered with these vessels, and asked out of curiosity.

"Little sister, what are you doing?"

"I am just doing some small experiments, there won't be any danger."

"Oh."

Leman Russ thought so at first too, until Yingxin finished all the procedures and pulled him out of the room.

"Little sister, didn't you say it wasn't dangerous?"

"That's right, it won't be dangerous if we stay far away."
