Chapter 1435: Knight VS Rune Colossus

A steady voice came through the communication channel of the Tailin Knight Mech.

Walun, a member of a branch of the Tailin Knight House, was convinced by the philosophy of the Sons of the People Chapter founded by the Emperor, voluntarily joined the Sons of the People Chapter, and was also granted an audience by the Emperor.

The battle lasted for nearly half an hour.

The last Rune War Colossus was hit in the head by a melta cannon, flames spewing from its eyes and mouth, and its body fell backward.

All twelve colossi fell, the Rune Yinjì flickering a few last times on the dark red metal before extinguishing completely.

From the communication device came the voice of Sebastian.

"Tailin Knight, well done. Now, purge the Alien."

Walun said.

"Received, Comrade Commander, we will cover your advance."

Sebastian nodded and raised his chainsword.

"Sons of the People! Advance!"

"Immortal!"

The Space Marines of the Sons of the People fired their Bolters in succession, advancing toward the Orc positions.

The Orc warriors were still resisting, but they no longer had their previous morale.

Their colossus fell, and the Rune Yinjì could not stop the bolter rounds either.

An Orc picked up a Rune Gun from the ground and stood up.

He saw a Space Marine in red Power Armor rushing toward him.

He raised the Rune Gun and fired.

The Energy Beam struck the Power Armor, sparking.

The Space Marine did not stop, aiming his Bolter and opening fire.

"Bang!"

A headless corpse fell, immediately followed by being trampled into pulp.

After receiving the news of the Rune Colossus's defeat, Gokazi immediately gave an order.

"Send everyone who can fight up there!"

The High Priest hesitated.

"My King, the reserves have already been sent up."

Gokazi angrily crushed a Two-legged Sheep skull, then turned and walked back to the Wangzuo Ting.

"The strength of these Two-legged Sheep exceeds my imagination!"

"My King, the commanders of other regions just sent a Rune communication saying that an unknown number of Two-legged Sheep troops have attacked their territories, and the people of many a Buluo have already been slaughtered."

The High Priest followed behind and spoke.

"Use that item; since we are not certain to survive anyway, then open that thing and let these Two-legged Sheep be buried with us!"

On the wasteland east of the Wangzuo Ting, the battle was still continuing.

But the Orcs' resistance was collapsing.

The warriors of the Sons of the People advanced in small squads, their Chainswords and Bolters tearing paths of blood through the Orc crowds.

The Knight Mech provided fire support from the rear, with the Melta Cannon and Combat Rapid-Fire Cannon clearing out the remaining resistance forces.

In the sky, the last Orc fighter plane was shot down by a Valkyrie Transport.

The smoke and dust over the battlefield gradually dissipated, the sun emerged, and the sunlight shone upon the wasteland strewn with Orc corpses.
