Chapter 1438: I do not need you to submit, I only need you to die here

~6 min read 1,183 words

Qiyanbatulu's gaze swept over those people.

His gaze stopped in the depths of the cave, where hay and rags were piled up, and a few thin, small figures were curled together, their bodies trembling.

They were Aliens.

They buried their faces in their knees, not daring to lift their heads, but their bodies were shaking.

Xikasi followed Qiyanbatulu's gaze and spoke.

"Kazidaoer, over there."

He pointed to the depths of the cave; Kazidaoer walked over, crouched down, grabbed the arm of a young Orc, and lifted it up.

It was a male cub, its mouth open, its Liaya just beginning to poke out their tips.

It looked at Kazidaoer and let out a faint whimper.

The two beside it were also dragged out; they lay on the ground, kowtowing.

The survivors began to stir.

Those survivors looked at the captured young Orcs; a female survivor held a cub and shrank against the base of the wall, her eyes fixed on those few young Orcs, her lips trembling.

An old man stood up, panic-stricken.

Xikasi raised his hand to signal.

"Do not be afraid, they cannot harm you."

Those few young Orcs began to scream, their voices sharp, mixed with crying.

One lay on the ground kowtowing, its forehead hitting the stone, seeping blood, yet it continued to kowtow.

Xikasi looked at those panicked survivors and spoke.

"Qiyanbatulu, drag them out and finish them off; there are too many people here, it is not convenient."

Qiyanbatulu walked over, grabbed the backs of the necks of two young Orcs, and carried them out.

They struggled, kicked their legs, and clawed at Qiyanbatulu's arms; their nails broke, and blood stained his red Power Armor.

Qiyanbatulu did not let go, and Kazidaoer followed behind, carrying the third one.

The three young Orcs were dragged out of the cave and disappeared above the slope.

The survivors quieted down, and only the sound of breathing remained in the cave.

Xikasi crouched down, looking at those Two-legged Sheep, trying to keep his tone as peaceful as possible.

"Someone will come to pick you up soon, to go to a safe place where there is food to eat, water to drink, and doctors."

No one responded.

A few sounds of bones breaking came from above the slope.

Kazidaoer walked down from the slope, his Chainsword already returned to his waist, his gloves stained with blood.

He wiped them on the wall and walked to Xikasi's side.

"Finished dealing with them."

Xikasi nodded.

"Wait for the Transport Aircraft to arrive."

Ten-plus minutes later, the sound of engines came from outside the cave.

A Valkyrie Transport landed on the open ground of the Buluo, the hatch opened, and several Auxiliary Army soldiers in camouflage uniforms jumped down.

A middle-aged female officer walked into the cave, looked at those survivors, and said to Xikasi.

"Comrade Xikasi, we will have them board as soon as possible."

Xikasi nodded and stood up.

"Comrades, go with them, everything is already in the past."

Under the guidance of the Auxiliary Army personnel, the survivors began to move toward the outside of the cave.

The cave gradually became empty; Xikasi checked every corner one last time to confirm there were no survivors left behind.

He walked to the corner in the depths of the cave piled with hay, crouched down, and shone his flashlight on it.

Under the hay was a corpse of a comrade, already decomposed, making it impossible to tell the age or gender.

Beside it were a few more bones, which had been gnawed on.

"Let's go."

He said.

The three walked out of the cave, and the Valkyrie Transport took off, flying toward the south.

The sound of the engines gradually faded away.

Xikasi stood on the open ground, looking at those corpses.

"Let's go, we are heading to the next Buluo!"

Iron Tooth Star, east of the Wangzuo Ting.

The sound of gunfire gradually thinned, and the roar of bolters and the growl of Chainswords were scattered by the wind.

The warriors of the Sons of the People were clearing out the last of the Orc resistance forces; in the trenches, behind rubble, and beside the wreckage of the War Colossus, there were corpses of Orc warriors everywhere, and the Rune Yinjì on them had already extinguished.

Sebastian stood beside the wreckage of a Rune War Colossus, his red Power Armor covered in Orc blood, his Chainsword stuck in the ground.

"Comrade Regiment Commander, the West District has been cleared."

A report came through the Communication Device.

"East District cleared."

"South District cleared."

"North District cleared."

Sebastian hung his canteen back on his waist.

"Squad One, advance toward the Wangzuo Ting. Surround it, do not let a single Alien escape."

He drew his Chainsword and walked toward the Wangzuo Ting.

Behind him, dozens of Sons of the People warriors stood up from their cover and followed him.

The doors of the Wangzuo Ting were wide open.

Lying at the entrance were several Orc warrior corpses, along with two destroyed armored vehicles; the vehicle bodies were still burning, and black smoke was rising.

Sebastian stepped onto the stairs, walked through the gate, crossed the foyer, and entered the main hall of the Wangzuo Ting.

The dome of the great hall was hung with bone ornaments and faded banners, and the walls on both sides were carved with the history of the Broken Bone Empire's conquests, depicting scenes of Orcs slaughtering Two-legged Sheep, destroying cities, and enslaving captives.

Gokazi stood in front of the throne, gripping a massive Battle Axe in his hand.

He wore Rune armor made from warship armor plating, with the emblem of the Broken Bone Empire carved into the breastplate.

Behind him stood dozens of Orc Imperial Guard, covered in heavy armor, standing in two rows to block the front of the throne.

Gokazi raised his giant axe, his roar echoing through the great hall.

"Two-legged Sheep! You have fought your way to my doorstep! Killed my warriors! Destroyed the colossus! Do you think you have won?"

"The Broken Bone Empire will not yield! I, Gokazi, King of the Broken Bone Empire, will not bow to anyone!"

Sebastian looked at Gokazi.

"I do not need you to yield, I only need you to die here."

Gokazi gripped the giant axe tighter, his Liaya clenching, making a creaking sound.

"You Two-legged Sheep, slaves who crawled out of the Gladiator Arena, are you worthy to kill me?"

He raised his axe and pointed it at Sebastian.

"How many enemies of the Broken Bone Empire have wanted to destroy us? You, a mere few thousand Two-legged Sheep in red shells, want to destroy me?"

"Your Broken Bone Empire will vanish today."

Gokazi laughed out loud.

"Vanish? Just because of you?"

"You Two-legged Sheep exist only to be our slaves. I have eaten many of you Two-legged Sheep; the young ones are the best, tender, smooth, one bite each."

Sebastian looked at the Alien before him who felt not a shred of remorse, raised his Chainsword, and said.

"Die! Alien! For the Emperor!"

"For the Emperor!"
