Chapter 1522: Let Them Stay

Yingzhou raised his hand and said.

Do not attack; let him contact those Aliens and tell them that the Canaan Administrative District can vacate several Desolate Stars for them to stay.

Luojia's brows twitched slightly, and he spoke to inquire.

Father, there are indeed a few Desolate Stars on the border of the Canaan Administrative District, but their locations are close to the main shipping lane nodes of the administrative district.

If the Zerg are allowed to land there, will the subsequent safety risks to the shipping lanes be too high?

Yingzhou looked at Luojia and said with a smile.

Let Viridius go and notify the Zerg; the content of the notification is that the Canaan Administrative District is vacating planets for them to land on, and then have them call all their other kin over.

If those bugs are willing to accept, they live.

If they do not accept, or if there are signs of non-cooperation after landing, then have Viridius execute the standard procedure.

Once he finishes receiving them and confirms that the bugs have all entered, he can continue to execute the standard procedure for monitored subjects.

Luojia nodded and said.

I understand, but Father, I don't quite understand... why let all those bugs enter the territory of the Canaan Administrative District? Their numbers are not small; if they all gather on the border Desolate Stars, in the event of an Out of Control situation, the cost of cleanup later will be very high.

Yingzhou leaned back in his chair, hands clasped in front of his abdomen, and began to explain.

Those bugs were beaten so badly by the Kazili Zerg in the northwest corner of the Bode Star System that they couldn't even keep their home; they proactively sent a communication saying that if they could receive help, they would remember this favor, which shows that there is a core judgment in their survival logic: staying alive is more important than anything else.

As long as the Canaan Administrative District provides them with a place to live, I have other things to do.

Those Luolantan Zerg are different from any Zerg we have seen; they have self-awareness, have a social structure, and can communicate with Aliens.

This shows that there are some things in their biological systems worth researching; after they all enter the Desolate Stars of the Canaan Administrative District, I will send a legion over, nominally to assist in resettlement, but actually to monitor and study them.

If there are parts of their biological structure that are useful to the Xiuluo Holy Star Alliance, then pen them up and use their biological resources to provide fuel for the war machine of the Xiuluo Holy Star Alliance.

If research reveals that there is nothing of value on them, then destroy all those planets.

After hearing these words, Luojia nodded slowly, unable to help but sigh inwardly.

As expected of Father, after taking these Aliens in, he drains them of their value to burn for the massive machine of the Xiuluo Holy Star Alliance.

Luojia then spoke up.

How will the research authority be allocated after the legion arrives? Will it be taken over directly by the legion, or led by the scientific research department of the Canaan Administrative District?

Yingzhou thought for a few seconds and then said.

It will be taken over by the legion; the scientific research department of the Canaan Administrative District can send observers, but they cannot touch the core samples. There may be sensitive parts in the biological structure of those bugs, and too many people cannot be allowed to come into contact with them.

I will designate a formation specifically responsible for biological sample collection and monitoring on the legion side, and work will begin after all the bugs have landed.

Luojia said.

Understood, I will contact the communication lines of the Canaan Administrative District now and convey Father's instructions in full to Deputy District Chief Viridius.

Yingzhou nodded slightly, his gaze falling back onto the document papers on the desk.

There is one more thing: tell Viridius that when communicating with those bugs, let them know what the conditions are; if they agree, they land, and if they don't agree, they go back where they came from.

If they show any hesitation or delay after receiving the conditions, handle it directly according to the attack procedure; there is no need to continue negotiations.

Luojia stood at attention and nodded slightly.

Understood, I will convey it word for word. By the way, Father, after the legion arrives in the Canaan Administrative District, will the research on the Luolantan Zerg be conducted openly or in secret?

Yingzhou had already begun signing documents and said without raising his head.

Conduct it in secret; there is no need to let the ordinary personnel of the Canaan Administrative District know what is specifically being researched inside. Externally, just call it an Alien threat assessment and alert Task.

"Understood."

Luojia nodded and turned to leave the study.

Canaan Administrative District, District Center Planet, top-floor command room.

Viridius stood before the holographic tactical table, hands braced on the edge of the table, his gaze fixed on the signal of the Biological Fleet slowly moving on the star map.

At this moment, a communication message arrived from the Xiuluo Holy Star, and Viridius raised his hand to signal the Communications Officer to connect it.

The holographic projection rose above the communication console, and Luojia's face appeared in the projection.

Viridius stood at attention as the projection appeared and spoke respectfully.

Lord Luojia, Deputy District Chief of the Canaan Administrative District, Viridius, pays his respects to you. The communication signal is stable, and I am ready to receive orders.

Luojia's projection maintained a stable blue outline above the communication console.

Viridius, the Emperor has just reviewed your report on the Luolantan Zerg fleet approaching the border, and the Emperor has some instructions for you to execute.

"It is my honor, please instruct me, my Lord."

Luojia's projection continued.

The Emperor's meaning is, do not launch an attack on the Luolantan Zerg fleet. You represent the Canaan Administrative District to contact them and tell them that the Canaan Administrative District is willing to vacate several Desolate Stars in the border area for them to settle down.

They can land on those planets to establish temporary habitats; at the same time, they need to summon all other Luolantan Zerg kin over to be uniformly resettled in the same Desolate Star area.

Viridius was stunned for a few seconds and asked.

Lord Luojia, are you saying... the Canaan Administrative District is accepting the Zerg into the territory? Letting them settle on the border Desolate Stars? And proactively having them call all their kin over?

If those bugs are willing to accept, let them temporarily settle there; if they do not accept, or if there are signs of non-cooperation after landing, then handle it according to the standard procedure.

Viridius stood at attention and said.

I obey the Emperor's will; I will contact the representatives of the Luolantan Zerg according to the content of the instructions and convey the conditions. But if they show signs of delay or hesitation after receiving the conditions, may I directly terminate contact and switch to the attack procedure?

If they show any hesitation or delay after receiving the conditions, handle it directly according to the attack procedure; there is no need to continue negotiations.
