Chapter 311: Only Evolution

Yingzhou and Selina found the Kasrkin Sergeant inside the Research Institute, and after a brief inquiry, Yingzhou learned the situation.

There were still many Human children inside the Research Institute here; led by the Kasrkin Sergeant, Yingzhou found a spacious laboratory.

Inside were stored broken experimental equipment, as well as children and adults whose eyes had lost their luster; they were discarded in the laboratory like objects that could be thrown away at will, but a small number of adults had not lost their sanity, and upon seeing the outsiders, they immediately stood up, looking at Yingzhou and the others with vigilance.

"This is the good work your Council has done! They are Humans too! Why are they locked up here like livestock! This is Human territory, not an Alien Race's!"

Yingzhou's expression was grim; he had seen such scenes within the territory of the Alien Race, and the mental state of the survivors there was exactly the same as these Humans before him.

But this was not the territory of an Alien Race! These people were actually being treated as experimental subjects by their own kin, without the rights of a Human!

Selina, as if she did not feel Yingzhou's anger, still replied with an expressionless face.

"The people here do not appear on the list of experimental subjects; they were likely snatched up privately by those researchers at the Research Institute."

"Isn't that because of the Council's inaction! What is the point of the Council!"

Yingzhou looked at Selina with annoyance, discovering that the other party had been expressionless from beginning to end, and made a decision in his heart.

"Selina, I request to convene the Council, as soon as possible."

"Understood, but what about the evidence from Councilor Pake?"

Yingzhou handed the footage recorded by the Kasrkin Sergeant to Selina and said.

Yingzhou looked at the terrified people inside and said slowly.

"For the future of Humanity! The Ninth Defense Zone must make changes!"

"Understood, please wait patiently for the notification of the Council opening."

Selina nodded, handed Yingzhou a receiver, took the evidence of Pake's betrayal, and then turned and left.

"She gives off such a strange feeling; does she have no emotions?"

Yingzhou watched Selina's departing back, whispered a word, and then said to the Kasrkin Sergeant.

"Release them all; I want to ask them some questions."

The Kasrkin Sergeant nodded, signaling the Kasrkin soldiers following behind to join him.

The door to this laboratory was not locked, and the Kasrkin Sergeant opened it easily; while he was checking for danger inside, Yingzhou had already walked into the laboratory.

A pungent stench assailed his nostrils, and after feeling the wretchedness of this environment, Yingzhou became even more certain of his inner thoughts.

The Kasrkin Sergeant brought the few adults who seemed capable of communication before Yingzhou and said respectfully to him.

"Emperor, these few can communicate normally."

Yingzhou looked at these miserable people cowering before him, suppressed the anger in his heart, and tried to make his voice as gentle as possible.

"I sympathize with your plight, but my time is limited now, so I will ask you questions directly; just tell me what you know. How were you captured and brought here? How long have you been here? Do not be afraid, I will not harm you."

After the few people were silent for a dozen seconds, a young man said to Yingzhou.
