Ninth Defense Zone Inner City Research Institute.

Yingzhou had a Kasrkin soldier assist Daoer with an experiment. Daoer and his students had originally wanted to test it inside the laboratory, but after Yingzhou learned that the Research Institute had a Testing Ground, he had Daoer take his students to the Testing Ground to test the material's defense.

Inside the spacious Testing Ground, a Kasrkin soldier stood straight at the edge of the field. In the center of the Testing Ground, a silver-white bulletproof vest was fixed in place. Yingzhou, Daoer, and Daoer's students arrived at the observation room. After Daoer confirmed that the recording equipment was functioning properly, he said to Yingzhou:

"Chief Yingzhou, everything is prepared; the experiment can begin at any time."

"Then let's begin."

Upon hearing Yingzhou's command, the Kasrkin soldier in the Testing Ground quickly raised the Hellgun in his hands, aimed, and fired. The entire movement was fluid and completed in the blink of an eye.

After the silver-white bulletproof vest in the center of the Testing Ground was struck by the Hellgun's laser beam, a large hole was instantly burned through it by the high temperature, and half of the vest was destroyed.

"This... how is this possible! How could the power of this weapon be so strong!"

Daoer had originally thought that even if the bulletproof vest he researched couldn't block the laser beam, at least it wouldn't sustain such heavy damage. But the scene before him made Daoer feel for a moment that his research was futile, and that his hard work had been shattered just like that!

Seeing that Daoer looked somewhat dazed, Yingzhou patted his shoulder with a broad palm and spoke.

A researcher expressed his dissatisfaction, but before he could finish his sentence, he was pulled out of the crowd by a Kasrkin soldier. In front of everyone, the soldier bowed to Yingzhou and said.

Lu Wang bowed to Yingzhou and said to him with a smile.

"Chief Yingzhou, you are too polite. Since you have come to the City Defense Team, why not come straight in?"

"It's not any special situation, so I should just follow the normal procedure. This visit is a private matter; there is no need to enter the City Defense Team using my status as a Councilor.

Didn't you say before that after this incident is over, Pu Lie would invite me to his home as a guest? I am here to fulfill the appointment."
