Chapter 392: Killing the Controller Bug of the 95th Legion Hatchery

"Bang, bang, bang..."

Huokan, who jumped down from the Transport Aircraft, led his squad members to clear the Aliens rushing over from the surroundings, his Bolter firing continuously to strike down the approaching Aliens.

"Three Alien Nests, this is really..."

Just as Huokan was thinking about how to find the Controller Bug hidden inside the Hatchery, he suddenly saw two humanoid Zerg rush out from a Hatchery; he immediately adjusted the direction of his Bolter and fired at those two humanoid Zerg.

But the bolter shells stopped two meters in front of the opponents and then exploded.

"Brothers, I think I have found the nest where the Task target is located."

Seeing that they were different from the surrounding Aliens whose lives were being Harvested, Huokan spoke to the comrades beside him. He then activated his Chainsword, and the roar of the Chainsword rang out.

"Follow me!"

The Chainsword in Huokan's hand cut the Zerg approaching him in half; he shouted and charged toward the two humanoid Zerg. Seeing this, the other Salamanders warriors had two of their number use flamethrowers to clear a path for Huokan, while the rest followed behind him, charging toward the Hatchery in the center.

Seeing those ten tall Humans wearing green Armor rushing toward the Hatchery where they were located through the perspective of the two humanoid guard bugs, the tentacles on top of the Controller Bug's head inside the Hatchery kept swaying.

"Just by yourselves, you want to come find me? How ridiculous!"

But the next second, the tentacles on top of this Controller Bug's head stopped swaying again, feeling disbelief at everything happening before its eyes.

"This... how is this possible!"

At this moment, Huokan's Chainsword collided with the Purple Bone Blade in the humanoid guard bug's hand, but the weapons of both sides did not touch each other; separated by a distance of 10cm, they could no longer cut down.

Seeing that the opponent could actually use an Energy Force Field in such a way, Huokan simply increased his strength. The other humanoid guard bug saw this and wanted to attack Huokan, but it was swarmed by several Salamanders warriors following behind Huokan. The Chainswords in their hands kept hacking down. The humanoid guard bug wanted to resist, but there were too many opponents, and it could not fend them off at all, so it could only rely on the Energy Force Field to temporarily block the attacks of the Salamanders warriors.

These two humanoid guard bugs were shaken back repeatedly by the powerful strength of these Salamanders warriors, and even the Energy Force Field began to become unstable.

"Huokan! Get out of the way! Let me handle it!"

One warrior held a flamethrower and swept around, roasting the rushing Zerg into charcoal. Upon hearing this, Huokan dodged directly to attack the other humanoid guard bug.

"Bathed in the fires of war, forged on the anvil of battle!"

The Salamanders warrior holding the flamethrower let out a battle cry, and the flamethrower in his hand spat tongues of fire at the humanoid guard bug that had opened its Energy Force Field. The scorching flames instantly engulfed the humanoid guard bug. The humanoid guard bug engulfed by the flames raised the Bone Blade in its hand to hack at the position where the flames were being sprayed, but it was dodged by this Salamanders warrior, and the flamethrower in his hand continued to attack.

Under the continuous attack of the flames, the originally unstable Energy Force Field completely collapsed. Following a surge of energy turbulence scattering from the humanoid guard bug's position, the Salamanders warrior holding the flamethrower stopped attacking and quickly took out his Chainsword. Accompanied by the roar of the Chainsword, he charged toward the humanoid guard bug whose Energy Force Field had disappeared.

This time, the Chainsword was not blocked by that layer of Energy Force Field and easily cut into the shoulder of this humanoid guard bug. As the Chainsword hacked down, this humanoid guard bug was split in two.

On the other side, Huokan stopped his arm that was wielding the Chainsword, looked at the humanoid Zerg that had already been hacked into a pulp of flesh before him, and looked around; several Salamanders warriors nearby were firing their Bolters at the Zerg rushing up.

"I didn't expect these Aliens to actually have an Energy Force Field. Next, after entering the Alien Nest, we must be careful to avoid those Aliens using energy attacks."

As Huokan spoke, he took the lead in entering the middle Hatchery, and the other Salamanders warriors followed closely behind.

The Controller Bug inside the Hatchery erupted with a burst of mental power, and the tentacles on top of its head swayed in a wavy shape.

"That Human actually broke the mental Energy Force Field of the humanoid guard bugs relying solely on physical strength? How is it possible? I wonder if I can capture them; their flesh can definitely hatch even more powerful guards!"

Thinking of this, the Controller Bug began to manipulate the flesh inside the Hatchery to start wriggling, and the guard bugs inside the Hatchery also launched attacks at the Salamanders warriors who had broken in.

The Chainsword in Huokan's hand swung continuously, taking away the lives of one guard bug after another.

Sensing that the flesh of the Hatchery was wriggling, Huokan hacked at it without mercy with his Chainsword. The passages of the Hatchery were crisscrossed, and Huokan did not know where the Task target was, so he could only charge forward blindly.

Originally 10 people were acting together, but upon seeing that the Hatchery passages were crisscrossed, they split into pairs to search for the Task target.

Just as Huokan once again hacked a guard bug that suddenly popped out of a passage into two halves, a powerful energy rushed toward his side. Huokan was knocked back two steps after being hit by this powerful energy attack.

"This is the same type of energy fluctuation as the Energy Force Field of those two Aliens just now! My brothers, the Task target is right ahead!"

After Huokan felt that this energy attack was very familiar, he gripped the Chainsword in his hand, and his speed running forward also became much faster.

The Hatchery flesh within his field of vision kept wriggling. Soon, Huokan saw several carrier bugs carrying a Zerg that was 2 meters long and over 1.5 meters high; the dense tentacles on top of its head were swaying like waves at this moment.

"Alien! Go to hell!"

Seeing the Energy Force Field around the Controller Bug, Huokan raised the Chainsword in his hand without hesitation and hacked at the Controller Bug's head.

The Salamanders warriors following Huokan ran to one side, raised the Bolters in their hands, and fired bolter shells one after another at the Controller Bug.

But those bolter shells were all blocked without exception. Huokan felt that the energy was gathering and hurriedly dodged. A moment later, an energy attack passed through the position where Huokan had just been, and the powerful energy attack directly broke through the flesh of the Hatchery, revealing the gray, hazy sky outside.

Huokan swung his Chainsword again. Although the Chainsword did not cut through the Controller Bug's Energy Force Field, the powerful force, transmitted through the Energy Force Field, shook the Controller Bug so that the swaying frequency of the tentacles on its head became disordered.

"Huokan, its body strength doesn't seem as strong as those two Aliens just now! All its power is concentrated on that energy."

The Salamanders warrior who was providing fire support for Huokan from behind reminded Huokan in the communication channel. Hearing his teammate's reminder, Huokan hacked his Chainsword down again.

The Controller Bug, whose body was injured by the powerful force, looked at the Human before it in shock at this moment.

Although its body strength was not high, it was not bad either; how could it be unable to withstand such an attack and start getting injured? There was something wrong with these Humans!

Just as the Controller Bug blocked Huokan's attack again, it suddenly felt a roar come from the flesh behind it. Feeling a pain in its body, the Controller Bug saw its field of vision split into two; its body had been hacked in half.

"Huokan, sorry, I stole your Alien!"
