Aurelian held the Heavenly Punishment Demon-Cleaving Halberd, hacking and slashing his way along the intricate tunnels inside the incubation nest.

Just as Aurelian turned a corner in the tunnel, his rapid footsteps stopped instantly, and a sharp Bone Blade thrust out from in front of Aurelian.

"Alien!"

Aurelian's Heavenly Punishment Demon-Cleaving Halberd slashed out instantly, and a Psionic Arc flashed by, severing the Bone Blade in an instant.

At the same time the Bone Blade was severed, a pitch-black, nearly three-meter-tall Black-Winged Bug let out a painful hiss.

"You Alien, other than being big, there is nothing remarkable about you!"

The Heavenly Punishment Demon-Cleaving Halberd in Aurelian's hand traced an arc, and he followed through by hacking at the Black-Winged Bug's head.

The Black-Winged Bug retreated a distance quickly and used an Energy Barrier to block Valantis's slash.

The Black-Winged Bug's Energy Barrier condensed once more, this time in a hexagonal honeycomb structure.
