Chapter 604: Is He Faking It?

Before the Hou warrior could finish speaking, his entire body was struck directly by a Rune Bullet, instantly turning into fragments filling the sky.

"What is the situation! These Humans are actually ambushing us here!"

Watching the artillery attack that had gone full-throttle from the start, the Human Alliance soldier Xiuningkai felt his Adam's apple bob up and down.

Lying behind a concrete bunker, he could clearly hear his own heartbeat thumping violently beneath his Bulletproof Armor.

The Hou Deacon using the defensive Scroll roared in anger and organized the Hou warriors rushing out of the portal to begin setting up defenses; he could clearly feel that his defensive Scroll would not last long.

Bidan suddenly grabbed Xiuningkai by the collar and dragged him backward, as puppets that looked like dolls were thrown toward the forward bunker.

These puppet dolls exploded instantly, and green energy directly engulfed a Stubber firing point; the Cadian soldiers wrapped in the green energy began to undergo mutations.

Lines of green text began to attach themselves to the skin of the Cadian soldiers, and those characters began to transform into deformed organs, starting to wrap around and control these Cadian soldiers.

A Cadian soldier saw the changes on his body, and a sense of foreboding immediately rose in his heart, especially when he heard remarks appearing in his mind telling him to join the glorious evolution and lay down his weapon.

A flash of determination crossed the purple pupils of this Cadian soldier, and he opened his mouth and shouted loudly.

Three Grey Knights walked forward, pushing through the psionic turbulence around the Teleportation Array, while the psionic barrier on the outer layer of their Holy Shield Power Armor fended off the incoming green Energy Bombs.

Any Hou warrior who approached them would be decapitated after a single arc strike, becoming a corpse.

The three Grey Knights were like moving Fortresses; every swing of their Heavenly Punishment Demon-Cleaving Halberds brought up psionic arcs, annihilating these Aliens that looked so menacing.

Chamaidaohan cleaved the head of a three-meter-tall Hou warrior with a halberd and shouted in the communication channel.

"Fannidike! Psionic node at ten o'clock!"

"Received."

Fannidike crushed a flying creature with one hand, then quickly steadied his Heavenly Punishment Demon-Cleaving Halberd with both hands, aiming the tip at a Hou warrior; as a psionic bolt was fired, the head of that Alien, which was still charging an energy attack, was instantly blown apart.

Even the sliver of energy body controlling this Puppet was engulfed by the psionic explosion.

At this moment, Ganjiedake sensed that among these Aliens, several high-energy organisms were rapidly approaching the three of them under the cover of these cannon fodder.
