Chapter 775: Occupying the Cyberk Park (9)
The offensive of the Cyberk Giant Soldier swarm completely collapsed in the face of the Human Titan's omnidirectional, saturation-style destructive firepower.
Long-range attacks were ineffective, close-quarters charges were shredded by the metal storm of the Gatling Macro-cannon, precision kills were handled by the Laser Burst Cannon, clustered targets were covered by Missiles, and the Volcano Cannon, which could roar again at any moment, hung overhead.
At this moment, an Assault Giant Soldier, upon discovering that combat data could not be uploaded, immediately turned and fled, attempting to leave this area to upload the combat data.
"Threat target: exiting battlefield. Pursuit authorized. Warhound-class, execute termination."
The Warlord Titan captain issued the final order.
Having received the order, the Warhound-class Titan launched a pursuit against the fleeing Assault Giant Soldier and aimed its hand-mounted Plasma Blast Cannon at the opponent; the Plasma Blast Cannon had long since finished charging.
"Hum—Boom!"
A leaping blue-white Plasma ball accurately caught up to the fleeing Assault Giant Soldier and exploded violently behind it!
The ultra-high-temperature Plasma instantly engulfed and melted it!
The seemingly unstoppable Steel torrent of the Cyberk Giant Soldier swarm was, in the face of the Titan's divine wrath, disintegrated, shredded, melted, and turned into burning, massive metal debris scattered across the battlefield at an astonishing speed.
The roar of the Titan's artillery became the only main melody on this battlefield, proclaiming the supremacy of Human technology and the final end of the Alien creations.
After rushing into the park, Vulkan had Company Commander Huokan lead an assault on the main passage to the Hexin tilian qu where the energy source was held, while he himself took two Salamander Squads toward the Zhongyang Kongzhishi of the park.
Meanwhile, the Blood Angels were responsible for attacking the Main Database of the park.
Vulkan had already rushed to the thick alloy gate of the Zhongyang Kongzhishi building.
The Cyberk were relying on the Defense Turrets on both sides of the gate and the firing points above to conduct a blockade, and dense energy beams struck Vulkan's Armor and the Dragon-scale Storm Shields of the Salamander Space Marines, splashing countless sparks.
"Cover the Primarch!"
A Salamander Space Marine roared, spraying flames from a heavy Flamer toward the platform above, attempting to suppress the enemy's firepower.
Vulkan ignored the attacks hitting his body; he stuck his Power Hammer into the ground by his feet, and his massive hands directly gripped the hydraulic transmission device on the edge of the alloy gate.
"Hah—!"
A roar erupted from Vulkan's mouth.
The muscles all over his body bulged under his Power Armor, and the metal ground beneath his feet emitted a harsh groan and deformed.
"Creak—Snap!!"
The incredibly sturdy alloy gate, along with its complex locking mechanism, was torn from the door frame and ripped open to reveal a massive gap under the pure brute force of the Primarch.
The twisted metal edges flickered with electric sparks, revealing the deep, dark passage inside.
"Salamanders! Advance!"
Vulkan pulled out his Power Hammer, cast his gaze toward the depths of the dark passage, and was the first to step into the Zhongyang Kongzhishi building of the Cyberk.
The Salamander Space Marines followed closely behind, and the roar of Bolters and the growl of Chainswords instantly echoed inside the facility.
"Push forward! Target the Zhongyang Kongzhishi! Crush all obstacles!"
Vulkan's deep voice rang out in the internal comms.
His massive figure was unstoppable, and every swing of his Power Hammer brought with it a whistling sound.
An Automatic Turret descending from the ceiling had just revealed its barrel when the hammer head, carrying a destructive field, swept across.
"Clang—Boom!"
The turret, along with half of the ceiling structure, instantly twisted and deformed, falling to the ground while emitting electric sparks, only to be trampled into fragments by the Salamander warriors following behind.
A thick blast-proof airtight door attempted to close, but Vulkan did not even slow down, his left shoulder pauldron slamming violently into the door.
"Clang!"
The alloy-reinforced door leaf dented and tore, hinges flying off, revealing the Cyberk defenders behind it.
"For Humanity! For the Emperor!"
The battle cry erupted by the Salamander Space Marines caused morale to instantly soar to its peak.
The accompanying Primarch was the most powerful catalyst!
The Cyberk soldiers behind the door had not yet had time to fire before they were shredded by dense Bolter fire.
The beams shot by their Energy Weapons struck the thick Power Armor and Dragon-scale shields of the Space Marines; some only left scorch marks or were deflected, and those that caused damage were ignored by the Salamander Space Marines—as long as it did not affect the battle, they would absolutely not stop their footsteps in purging the Alien.
"Left passage! Suppress!"
The Captain's voice sounded in the communication channel.
"Received! Purge with fire!"
A Salamander Space Marine holding a Flamer immediately turned, and searing white flames poured into the side branch passage, Devouring several Cyberk soldiers attempting to flank them along with their cover.
At the same time, another Salamander Space Marine's Chainsword emitted a roaring sound.
His Chainsword slashed directly into a piece of cover erected by metal plates.
"Screech—Boom!"
The cover, along with the two Cyberk soldiers firing from behind it, was instantly pulverized by the violent saw teeth.
Vulkan was always charging at the front.
His massive figure was a moving banner, invincible.
Any obstacle that dared to block his path forward—whether it was an Automatic Turret, a falling isolation gate, or swarms of Cyberk soldiers—turned into fragments under the destructive heavy strikes of the Power Hammer in his hand or his pure, superhuman strength.
"Follow Father! Maintain formation! Leave no survivors!"
The Salamander Space Marines coordinated perfectly, using Vulkan as the spearhead to form a tight assault wedge.
Shield-bearers stood in front to block fire, Flamer-wielders burned cover and corners, assault troops cleared remaining enemies with Bolters and Chainswords, and Techmarines quickly handled shallow damage to their Armor while on the move.
Under the guidance of the Primarch, they efficiently crushed everything.
The resistance within the passage collapsed rapidly.
The precise tactics and logical analysis of the Cyberk defenders appeared pale and powerless in the face of Vulkan's pure force and the fanatical, coordinated offensive of the Salamander warriors.
Soon, the end of the passage suddenly opened up.
A massive alloy gate, never seen before and flowing with a deep blue Energy Barrier, appeared before them.
This is the final gate of the Zhongyang Kongzhishi.
Vulkan stood still before the gate, his massive frame casting an oppressive shadow.
He slowly raised the Power Hammer in his hand, stained with the "blood" of enemies and metal shards, the hammer head pointing at that giant gate, his pupils burning with the flames of certain victory, declaring the final judgment.
"Obstacles cleared! Salamanders!"
Vulkan's voice resounded through the hall.
"Target—Zhongyang Kongzhishi! Smash this gate open! The control of this sector shall belong to the Human!"
