Chapter 217

Qin Bei immediately turned his head to look.

Finally, the corner of his mouth twitched.

He saw, on the wall—

A green locust had rammed headfirst straight into it.

The legs sticking out were still trembling nonstop.

Ya and Qin Bei exchanged a glance.

For some unknown reason—

The two of them instantly felt—

This locust… is so dumb!

Qin Bei reached out and pulled the locust out.

Then he began examining it carefully.

Its whole body was green.

Green compound eyes.

And translucent wings.

Silver threads ran through the middle of its body.

This was a mechanical locust.

Commonly known as a grasshopper.

Ya began staring at the mechanical locust.

Meanwhile, Qin Bei was thinking.

Recalling the Kamen Riders whose inner motif was connected to locusts.

Thinking about it that way—

Qin Bei immediately sucked in a cold breath.

Locusts… they basically run through the entire history of Kamen Rider.

From the very beginning in Showa, the very first Kamen Rider.

To Heisei's Hell Brothers and W.

And Reiwa's 01.

As well as the future Rider of Kamen Rider's hundredth year.

Kamen Rider Century.

All in all—

There are many Riders a mechanical locust can contract with.

If he could contract directly with Kamen Rider Century—

That would be absolutely amazing.

【Host: Qin Bei】

There were still 200 energy points left.

That meant two chances.

Qin Bei took a deep breath.

Then he grabbed the green mechanical locust in his hand.

This little thing was a full half a meter long.

He raised the green locust up.

The two pairs of eyes met.

The mechanical locust seemed to understand as well.

It slightly opened its mouth.

"Goo…"

Qin Bei stuck his head out.

And bumped heads with the mechanical locust.

Boom!

It felt like an atomic bomb had exploded inside his mind.

Qin Bei's spirit wavered for a moment.

He arrived in a black space.

"Goo…" (Pig sex?)

The corner of Qin Bei's mouth twitched.

This useless locust.

Not even as good as a tooth.

A tooth, at least, could say one character correctly.

You can get two characters wrong!

"Yes, Master!"

Qin Bei gritted his teeth and said.

Then he came before the mechanical locust.

"Pigman...."

"Damn it!"

Qin Bei helplessly let out a curse.

Then he sighed.

What could be done?

My own child.

He reached out his hand.

His gaze turned to the mechanical locust.

"Are you willing to become my family?"

The mechanical locust seemed to know it was not good at speaking.

A contract rune appeared directly above its head.

The rune floated toward Qin Bei.

Then Qin Bei felt a sharp sting.

His soul.

Had another thread split off.

【Congratulations, Host, on acquiring a new Knight Contract.】

【Would you like to match a suitable Knight?】

The System's voice echoed in Qin Bei's mind.

Qin Bei took a deep breath.

Then he exited the consciousness space.

Naturally, the skills mastered by this mechanical locust before him also appeared in his mind.

"High-Speed Flight; the speed of flying by flapping wings can exceed the speed of sound."

"Catapult Collision; exert force with the legs to catapult oneself directly, smashing toward the enemy like a meteor."
