Chapter 2: A Strange Dream

~8 min read 1,590 words

With a 'clang', the iron door of the cell was closed and locked by the prison guard.

Meng Su grabbed the iron bars of the door and tried hard to look outside, only to see the backs of the prison guards equipped with electric batons and pistols slowly moving away. Like every suspect locked in the detention center, Meng Su shouted: "I was framed! They were the ones who started it! I want to see my lawyer!"

The prison guard slowly walked away, ignoring Meng Su. Meng Su began to examine the situation of this cell; it was clearly not as simple as a detention center holding cell—this was a proper prison. A long corridor, seven or eight heavy doors, with various types of prisoners locked on both sides of the corridor.

After examining the outside of the cell, Meng Su turned back to look at the layout inside. As he turned, he suddenly found a face almost pressed against his own. Meng Su was startled and quickly retreated to the side, but that face seemed to have a magical power; just as Meng Su stood still, that face was in front of him again.

Meng Su dodged several times but couldn't escape the face, so he simply stopped dodging and began to examine it directly.

This was an old man, roughly around sixty years old, with very long, fluffy, and messy hair on his head, a gray beard, and eyes that were particularly spirited. Perhaps because he had been locked up for a long time, the old man's complexion was pale and bloodless, appearing quite clean.

This old man was nearly 1.85 meters tall, while Meng Su was only about 1.7 meters; Meng Su had to look up slightly at this face.

Meng Su had two 'bigs' and one 'fast' since childhood. First: a big appetite; while others ate with bowls, he ate with buckets. Second: great strength; even though Meng Su looked thin like a wooden stick, he could lift three or four hundred pounds with one hand as if it were play. The 'fast' was speed; he could run a hundred meters in under seven seconds.

With Meng Su's speed, he couldn't dodge the old man's face even after several attempts; it seemed the old man didn't need time to move.

After the old man finished examining him, Meng Su said: "Old brother, are you done looking? I'm a person too; what's worth you examining me like this? Could it be that you are...?"

Meng Su suddenly grabbed the iron bars of the cell and shouted: "Let me out! There's a pervert in my room..."

Meng Su's voice echoed in the empty cell for a long time, but no one responded. Meng Su felt helpless, turned back, hid in the corner of the cell, and said: "Old brother, I'm very ugly, don't come over here."

This time, the old man stared fixedly at Meng Su from afar. Meng Su breathed a sigh of relief: "I have great strength. If you come near me, I'll beat you up."

The old man seemed stimulated by this threat; his body shook, and he appeared in front of Meng Su again, looking down at him. Meng Su was shocked and threw a punch at the old man's chest. The old man didn't even move; his left hand appeared in front of Meng Su's fist, grabbed it, and placed Meng Su's hand back in its original position.

Meng Su was shocked and lifted his knee to strike the old man's lower body. The old man still used his left palm to wait where Meng Su's knee would appear, then pushed with his palm, and Meng Su's leg returned to its original position.

The old man extended his right hand, pinched Meng Su's cheeks, and then carefully examined Meng Su's face, opening his mouth to look around like a dentist, and then flipping up his eyelids to look. Meng Su was both shocked and angry; how could he be so unlucky to be locked up with a pervert?

Meng Su recalled the experience of being locked up. Meng Su had encountered a local veteran bully named Ren You during an act of heroism to save a beauty. However, because of his willful and reckless behavior, people outside called him Ren Woxing. This person was in the same university as Meng Su, two years ahead of him. They had already had conflicts at school.

Ren Woxing came from a wealthy family with a deep background, shouting and bringing bodyguards wherever he went. But Meng Su was no pushover either. Because Meng Su was ugly and had difficulty finding a girlfriend, he created a set of hero-saving-beauty routines to pick up seniors, and as a result, he bumped into this Young Master Ren.

Meng Su had beaten the thugs and bodyguards Ren Woxing brought to a pulp, including Ren Woxing himself, who was beaten black and blue. As a result, Young Master Ren called the police, saying Meng Su had blocked the road to rob and injure people. Meng Su had no way to defend himself, as the other party had both witnesses and physical evidence. Thus, Meng Su was locked up.

Meng Su originally thought he would at least be interrogated before being sentenced, but looking at the current situation, it seemed Young Master Ren had pulled some strings, and he was locked up without even being interrogated.

After carefully studying Meng Su's face, the old man shook his head, then nodded, and a strange smile appeared on his face.

Meng Su felt his hair stand on end from this smile. This was definitely a martial arts expert arranged by Young Master Ren to deal with Meng Su. Meng Su was in for it now.

However, Meng Su wasn't very afraid because he discovered he had a specialty: 'being hard to beat'.

The bodyguards and thugs hired by Young Master Ren all had brute strength, but when they hit Meng Su, he didn't feel much pain. Relying on this thick-skinned and rough-fleshed physique, Meng Su had beaten away those so-called experts of Young Master Ren.

Optimistically estimating, this strange old man shouldn't have much strength either; he was just fast and strange in his movement. If they really fought, it wouldn't be a big problem.

But the facts didn't let Meng Su remain optimistic.

After the old man finished studying Meng Su, he let him go, walked to his own bed, sat down, and stopped moving. Only then did Meng Su have the opportunity to carefully examine this prison cell. The cell was about eight or nine square meters, with two beds on either side. In the middle, at the end, was a squat toilet for using the bathroom.

Meng Su sighed and sat down on his own bed as well.

Bored, Meng Su began to pester the old man: "Hey, old brother, what exactly is your relationship with Young Master Ren? Did you volunteer to be locked up or did you pay to get in? How much did they give you? How do you plan to deal with me?"

The old man was like a monk in meditation, starting his 'playing dead' mode.

"Old brother, I don't think we have any deep hatred. Don't you go after me either. After I get out and make money, I'll come back to bail you out. How about that?"

The old man ignored him.

"Hey, old brother, are you waiting for me to fall asleep to beat me up? Let me tell you, don't look at me like I'm as thin as a monkey; I still have some strength. You're an old man with old bones; you might not necessarily beat me. Why bother? Isn't it just for money? I'll give you money."

The old man lowered his head and made a slight snoring sound.

Meng Su looked at the old man opposite him, at a loss, not daring to sleep. He spoke, but was ignored. He could only lean against the wall and start to recall.

Recalling the beautiful faces and graceful figures of the seniors at school, Meng Su couldn't help but smile.

Soon, Meng Su's eyelids began to fight, as if he hadn't slept for many days. Although the light in the prison cell wasn't good, it was morning, and he should have been energetic. The old man's sleepiness seemed contagious.

Meng Su soon entered dreamland.

In a daze, Meng Su felt himself being carried by three or four masked men onto a table similar to an operating table.

Meng Su's hands and feet were fastened by the buckles on the table and tightened.

Meng Su wanted to shout loudly, but he couldn't make a sound.

A person holding a small knife began to take off Meng Su's pants. Meng Su struggled for his life and shouted, but it was to no avail.

That person holding the small knife cut off Meng Su's 'thing' with one stroke, then bandaged the wound. Then someone carried Meng Su out and threw him onto a hospital bed.

Meng Su was terrified. He struggled violently, and with this struggle, he woke up from the dream.

Waking up, Meng Su was covered in sweat. He sat up, wiped the sweat from his forehead, and rejoiced: "Luckily, it was just a dream."

Meng Su subconsciously touched his lower body. This touch was not a small matter; Meng Su let out a shrill scream: "Where did my... go? Damn Ren Woxing, I'm not finished with you!" ===== CHAPTER 3 =====
