Chapter 805

Anna, while memorizing spells and casting them into the mirror mana battery to empty her spell slots, received information that the family’s butler was looking for her. She was told that Raymond was by the reception area.

She immediately went there to meet with the family butler with her three dorm mates, since Avian, Normumu, and Alethea were curious. She was a little anxious, thinking that something might have happened to his father or his brother. When she arrived at the reception hall, Anna’s anxiousness lessened when she saw that Raymond was calm, although if she was being honest, she might not be able to detect if the family butler was in a panic. Her brother told her that Raymond came from a family of butlers and had received training ever since he was a child. That meant that their butler would remain steady in any situation.

“Good morning, Mr. Jenkins. I heard that you’re looking for me? Is everything fine with my father and brother?” Anna asked when she reached Raymond.

“Your father and your brother are doing well. Your brother returned to the manor and stayed for almost two weeks. I was told that he completed your request. This is the Mithril Tablet of Survival Spells, and this one is called the Mithril Tablet of Wizard’s Assistance. The details on how to use them are in your brother’s letter.”

Thankfully, Anna’s dorm mates were a little far from them, so they had not seen the two tablets that Raymond had given Anna.

Anna accepted the two shiny tablets from the family butler. Anna found the two mithril tablets beautiful. After saying goodbye to Raymond, she immediately left him to his devices. Anna and her classmates returned to their dorm. She went to her room to read her brother’s letter and to have some privacy. She would need it because she had requested Anton to create an item that would have the Meditation Aura, and the aura had to remain a secret.

Her classmates remained in their dorm’s main seating room to continue practicing their spell work.

After reading Anton’s letter regarding the two mithril tablets, Anna was extremely excited. Each of the items was extremely useful to her. Even though the Meditation Aura on the Mithril Tablet of Wizard Assistance was only level twelve, the fact that it was small enough to be carried inside her purse was a great advantage, at least compared to the humongous Insight Spear.

Although if Daniel or Ingrid would still join her in her dungeon delving, she would still ask either of the two to carry the spear since the higher level of the Meditation Aura on the spear would provide more benefits to her and her party mates inside the dungeon. She would only use the Meditation Aura on her new Mithril Tablet if she delved the dungeon by herself or with others, but not in a party system.

The Prayer Aura on the Mithril Tablet would be extremely useful because the person who would act as the party’s damage absorber, which was called a “tank” by Anton, for some reason, would be healed almost instantly from any damage that he or she would receive from the dungeon monster by the said aura.

Not only that, the second tablet that was given to her by her brother, which was called the Mithril Tablet of Survival spells, would allow them to sweep off the dungeon monster easily. According to her brother’s letter, the Cloak of Shadows skill from the Assassin class would allow her and her party mates to fight the dungeon monster covered by the said spell, which would make everyone not part of her party blind. The Paladin Aura Salvation would make everyone in her party extremely resistant to elemental attacks, and the Barbarian’s War Cry would stun and damage all enemies that were not part of her party. The Sorceress Teleport skill was useful as well, since she still did not have that skill.

The school already accepted her request to delve into the dungeon twice a month, and each delve was scheduled to last three to four days. They allowed her to have that freedom when they learned that she had finally awakened the family’s bloodline magic, similar to Anton’s. She made the school wizards aware that the family's bloodline magic would only progress by killing dungeon monsters.

She was surprised that her reasoning worked, then she learned that her family’s bloodline magic circumstances were not unique, which actually surprised her greatly. Anna did inform her that she still could not create portal scrolls. She did not exactly tell them that she probably would not have that ability because she could not see something like that ability in the Sorceress Skill tree. Still, she was not closing off that possibility. One would never know what would suddenly become possible with her brother’s magic.

The only sad part about her brother’s mithril tablets was that once the number of uses reached the limit, the tablets would be destroyed. That meant that she had to request more of the same tablets from Anton.

Anna’s next delve was going to be in three days. She could not wait since she now. She just prayed that her brother remained safe. She knew that her brother returned to Rendindura to bring the fight against the Undead Coalition to their old continent. Still, because of the portals, it was easy for Anton to travel back and forth between the two continents.

She remembered when her family spent almost a year traveling from Rendindura to the Gale Continent. Now, anyone could travel between the two locations by just stepping into a portal, much like entering a door into a room.

Anna hid the Mithril Tablet of Wizard Assistance and showed the Mithril Tablet of Survival spells to her dorm mates. She boasted to her classmates that the items were specially made by Anton for her, and she felt proud at the envious look her classmates gave her for having such a knowledgeable brother who could create enchanted items.

Everyone in the room realized that even without Anna’s family businesses, her family would remain extremely rich simply by virtue of Anton’s ability to create powerful magic items.

Avina, Normumu, and Alethea did benefit from Anton’s abilities to make such items, since the magic mirror of mana storage filled their dorm with tamed mana that allowed them to memorize spells at a much faster rate. Because of that, they were actually reaching a higher level of wizardry rank compared to their schoolmates. The issue was that the whole school was aware of the mirror, and people were scrambling to replace the three of them being assigned to Anna’s room.

The only reason they remained where they were, even though their families were not the most powerful, was because Anna wanted them there. The three knew that Anna still had not realized that Anna’s family now had considerable power in Ormunda. Anna’s family was the source of the portal scroll, and not only that, but Anton’s ability to create unique magic items pointed to the fact that their family’s potential was through the roof.

Anna returned to exercising her spell-casting abilities with her dorm mates after she had boasted about her new mithril tablet. While memorizing her spells, Anna thought of her next delve. She was hoping that she would be able to increase her Sorceress level by at least six or seven levels by her next delve.

She already sent a message to her father’s vice-captains regarding delving into the dungeon, and Anna had received a reply that they had already formed a team that would delve with her. The plan was to delve into the fifth floor of the Corridors of Amuneta dungeon.
