Chapter 810

Anton’s teammates shook their heads at how prolific he had been in creating his magic tablets. In all honesty, even though his tablets were useful, they were truly not necessary. The wizards of Nermador were powerful and managed to collect a powerful and diverse number of spells. The main reason why his Cloak of Shadows spell was valuable for the moment was that the Undead Coalition hadn’t managed to crack its secret yet, as they did with the different Invisibility and Stealth spells that the wizards had in their possession.

Still, they couldn’t deny that the spells that Anton had inscribed on his tablets were incredibly useful even for Supreme Wizards such as themselves.

Anton knew all of that. That was also the reason why he didn’t create any tablets that would contain any summoned creatures, since those summons wouldn’t be powerful enough to truly assist the powerful wizards of Nermador. His spells were useful to the less powerful, but right now in Nermador, the wizards and warriors there were truly some of the most powerful in Rendindura.

The meeting then started. The first news that Captain Joraniah told them was that the Divine Rank wizards from Ormunda and New Drennor had finally copied the portal scrolls artifact. Anton’s jaw fell. He thought that it would take the wizards a long time to crack his town portal scrolls since its magic used a different magic system.

Still, he should have known that the powerful wizards of this world would be able to crack the town portal scroll magic in a short amount of time since they already had dimensional gate magic.

The captain informed them that the portal runes that the wizards from Ormunda and New Drennor were still extremely different. They could only create an artifact that would mimic the portal scroll once a week, and the artifact would cost a huge amount of resources. That meant that even though the portal scroll magic had been copied, the portal scrolls that Anton had been providing were still needed by the wizards, and they would not stop needing them for a long time to come.

Even though the limit was there, no one in the room doubted that progress would happen soon in terms of portal and dimensional magic, and no one would deny that Anton had contributed greatly to the advancement of that branch of magic by simply providing the portal scrolls.

Anton had mixed feelings about the news. He was grateful in a way since his importance in the eyes of the wizards of Ormunda and New Drennor had diminished a little, which meant that he was less afraid of the wizards suddenly commanding him to return to Ormunda to be protected. Besides, with the limit that their portal runes had, Anton’s portal scroll was still necessary.

After sharing that news about the portals, Captain Joraniah told them what the extremely long meeting was about. Apparently, the wizards of Amendora, New Drennor, Ormunda, and other allied kingdoms had decided to move forward with their plan of attacking Nizgeroth, the home kingdom of the Undead Coalition.

Anton's blood boiled when he heard that. Finally, the time of the reckoning had arrived. The powerful wizards of this world had finally decided to make their move to rid this world of the cancer that was the Undead Coalition.

The attack on Nizgeroth would be a massive undertaking, and according to Captain Joraniah, the preparation would take another month.

The initial number of wizards that would join the attack on the Undead Coalition home kingdom was more than three hundred Divine Rank wizards, five hundred Semi-Divine Rank Wizards, a thousand to two thousand Invincible Rank wizards, around five thousand Supreme Rank wizards, and thousands upon thousands more of Archmage Rank wizards. No wizards below Archmage rank were permitted to join in the fight.

The great number of wizards that would join in the attack came from several kingdoms from three continents.

Anton was truly extremely excited. He did not know what the results of the war would be, but like everyone else, he could not help but think positively, since the massive number of powerful wizards that would join in the war was a testament that no one could tolerate the Undead Coalition anymore.

Anton could not help but start to imagine a world without the menace that was the Coalition. Once that world sickness had disappeared, he planned to focus on enriching his magic that would result in him having the ability to travel to different dimensions, possibly including back to Earth.

He was massively grateful that the powerful beings of this world had finally arrived at the realization that the Coalition needed to disappear. Looking around at his teammates' faces, Anton knew that everyone was feeling the same thing that he was feeling. Everyone there desired to destroy the coalition, and soon, that time would arrive.

Captain Joraniah told him that for the next few weeks, until the day of the attack arrived, all missions would stop, except those that would threaten the safety of Nermador. Anton then realized that the wizards were not discreet in their plans of attacking Nizgeroth. When he thought about it, though, there was simply no chance to hide such a massive undertaking.

During the next few weeks, the captain did not even task them to do anything specific. Everyone there could do whatever they wanted except for Anton. Captain requested, not commanded, but requested that he create as many Mithril Tablets of Survival Spells as possible. According to the wizards who examined his tablets, they would be incredibly useful for lower-level wizards, such as supreme rank wizards and archmages.

Anton told the captain that he only had around three hundred blank Mithril Tablets left. Regarding other materials, he would have to do more testing. The captain told him not to worry since more magic metals would be supplied to him soon.

The meeting took several more hours, which was basically containing logistic information. After that, Anton asked if he could work on the projects assigned to him in the Rose Manor in Ormunda. Captain Joraniah agreed since they could summon him through the pair of earrings that was placed on the table beside the table in his room.

After the meeting, Anton went to his room and summoned Raymond so that he could be added to Raymond’s party system for him to be able to use the portal to return to the Rose Manor. Once he was back in the manor, he told Raymond that he would be busy crafting magic items in his room and to only disturb him if it was truly necessary. He told Raymond that he would still inform the butler if he needed something, like food or other things.

When Raymond left, the first thing Anton did was cast the Blizzard spell that was converted into Mana Rain all over the manor. Then he entered his Diablo II system and started converting all the materials that were given to him by Team Gorvin into tablet form. After several hours, he still had not completed the conversion, but he was hungry, so he paused his work, summoned Raymond, and asked for food.

While he was eating, the family butler told him of the status of the manor. Anton simply listened, and after that, he returned to his work. After twenty-four hours, he finally completed his task of converting all of his magic materials to tablet form.

Suddenly, he heard his name being called by Raymond. When he exited his Diablo system, Raymond informed him that the earrings were signaling him. He immediately returned to Nermador and found out that he was being called so that Sudarta could give him the magical metals they had collected.
