Chapter 146: The Holiday Cafeteria

"I might not be able to go this year, because the dean gave me a task." Qin Ge said to Yixian.

"What task?" Yixian asked curiously.

"Let me, in the name of the academy, hold an evening party about Donghuang's past, with everyone in the school participating, on New Year's Eve." Qin Ge said to Yixian.

"Eh, that's really good." Yixian nodded, "But wouldn't it be troublesome for those who don't celebrate the Spring Festival?"

"I think there shouldn't be any problem, after all many people don't go out for the Spring Festival; if we hold it as a gathering or banquet, it would feel nice, and I think many would participate." Qin Ge explained to Yixian.

"Hmm, then indeed I don't need to come to your place; it looks like I'll have to go to yours instead." Yixian said with a smile.

"The specific place hasn't been decided yet; tomorrow I still need to discuss this with Senior Mikasa. She is the assistant assigned to me by the dean, and also the most senior elder in the school. I believe under her coordination, everyone in the academy will definitely be able to enjoy a pleasant Spring Festival." Qin Ge said.

"I also believe that, so I'll wait for your good news." Yixian nodded, then suddenly slapped her forehead, "I got caught up chatting and haven't asked what you'd like to eat."

Qin Ge said to Yixian, "Today I may need to prepare more, because at noon I built three new warship girls while constructing the grand hall. So my food will stay the same, but for the others I'll make three extra portions."

"Then keep up the effort; you two wait here a moment, I'll go cook for you." Yixian said while laughing, then turned and walked toward the kitchen's preparation area.

After Qin Ge and Belfast had waited in the cafeteria for a while, Yixian came out carrying several lunch boxes.

"One of these is a bun that Ping Hai just gave me; there's a bit too much, I can't finish it, so I'm giving you some." Yixian said while handing the lunch box to Belfast, and to Qin Ge standing nearby.

"How could I accept this?" Qin Ge politely said to Yixian.

"What's the big deal? Ping Hai gave me so many I can't finish them; if left till tomorrow the flavor will change, so it's better you help me eat some, and you can also try Ninghai's cooking—it's really delicious." Yixian laughed.

"Then I'll respectfully obey." After saying that to Yixian, Qin Ge changed his words of farewell, and with Belfast headed back toward the reception house.

When he returned to the second-floor lounge, he saw everyone gathered together chatting. Qin Ge sat on a nearby chair and smiled at everyone, asking, "What are you talking about? You seem so happy."

"Commander, let's keep talking about what's happened to you at school, because Biyu Senior, Luodenni Senior, and Hai Lun Na Senior have all just joined our fleet, so naturally they're quite interested in your usual affairs." Banrenma said to Qin Ge.

"Mm." Everyone laughed and nodded, then they all went over to where Belfast was fetching the lunch boxes outside, to get their own. After getting them, they returned to their respective seats, eating while chatting with Qin Ge.

Qin Ge nodded, "I am currently the Strategy and Tactics Assistant Teacher of this academy, not yet an instructor. But one could also call me an instructor, since the Strategy and Tactics Course is currently handled solely by me."

Having received Qin Ge's acknowledgment, Hai Lun Na nodded in relief, the worry on her face fading a bit. At that moment, Rodenni beside her asked Qin Ge, "Commander, I've heard the Strategy and Tactics Course is very difficult; is it okay for you to handle it alone? Aren't you tired?"
