Chapter 183: Lottery Ended

One Day's time passed quickly, and in the blink of an eye it was already the next morning.

Today Qin Ge got up very early, because after preparing to wash up early, he needed to go to Anshan together with Belfast, Guanghui and them.

After all, yesterday afternoon the stands had already been set up around the drill field. This morning we will begin gathering, preparing to start the Exercise League.

When Qin Ge and his shipgirls arrived at Anshan, he discovered that the Dean, Prince of Wales, had already arrived, indicating she also valued this Exercise League greatly.

「Good morning, Dean. 」Qin Ge said to the Prince of Wales.

「Oh, Qin Ge, and Guanghui, you all came? You came really early, please sit. 」The Prince of Wales smiled at Qin Ge and his shipgirls.

On another side, Anshan greeted Qin Ge, saying, 「Good morning, Qin Ge, Guanghui, Nengdai, Banrenma, Belfast, Hai Lun Na. 」

「Good morning, Anshan. 」Everyone laughed and replied to Anshan.

「Dean, how did you come so early? I said I had come early enough, but I didn't expect you to come earlier than me. 」Qin Ge said with a smile.

「Hehe, according to my position as Dean, I wouldn't need to come this early, but today besides being Dean I am also the chief judge, so I have to arrive early. 」The Prince of Wales laughed.

「Alright, Dean truly is dedicated. 」Qin Ge laughed.

「Let's not talk about that, Qin Ge; this time as judge you must be fair and impartial, do not deliberately favor because you are a member of the Grand Fleet. 」The Prince of Wales smiled.

「Don't worry, I won't let personal interests override public duty, and they themselves are strong enough, so I don't need to favor them. 」Qin Ge said smiling, full of confidence.

「Alright, such assurance from you is enough. 」The Prince of Wales said.

Thus time passed in their chatting and laughing; soon the Exercise League's lottery ceremony was about to begin. And several people, under Anshan's guidance, came onto the lottery stage.

As chief judge, the Prince of Wales walked forward, took the microphone, and said to the commanders standing before him.

「Now it's once again time for the annual Exercise League segment, the Guan Yu Exercise League; I imagine you've already inquired a lot about it in private, so I won't go into too much detail here.

Among them, second-year students have already participated last year, while first-year students might be participating for the first time this year; but I hope you can achieve good results in the League.

This Exercise League remains the same as before, using a mixed lottery format. Your opponents could be first-year newcomers, or second-year graduates; but regardless of who the opponent is, you must show them the utmost respect and achieve good results.

Afterwards, the top ten can receive the school's rewards, so everyone strive! First-year newcomers who lose should not be discouraged, for you are still newcomers; and second-year veterans who win should not be proud, for greater difficulties await you in the future, so keep a calm mindset and perform well.

This time I am still serving as chief judge, while the judges are Anshan, responsible for the drill field, and her sister ships Fushun, Changchun, Taiyuan. Also there is Ping Hai and your tactics instructor Qin Ge, as well as his four shipgirls.

They are Guanghui, Banrenma, Nengdai, and Belfast; these four have already reached Full Breakthrough, so they have sufficient ability to prevent any accidents during the drill, and can give accurate judgments of your performance.

Of course, if you discover any judge engaging in corruption for personal gain, you can directly appeal to me; I will handle it fairly and openly. However, if there is a false accusation, I will immediately revoke that person's eligibility to compete.

So let's start the lottery now; after the lottery ends, according to specific numbers, go to each drill field to report.

After the Prince of Wales finished speaking, he glanced at all the commanders; at this moment, Anshan, standing behind the Prince of Wales, walked forward holding a box, and that box contained the implements for the lottery.

He placed the box on a table in front of the stage, then first-year students began drawing lots, followed by second-year students; everyone queued up and started the lottery.

Because the Commander Academy has over three hundred commanders in total, the lottery proceeded very quickly, finishing in about ten minutes, and everyone else had finished drawing their slips.

Seeing this, the Prince of Wales also nodded at Qin Ge and his group, letting them take their positions, preparing to begin the Exercise League.

Qin Ge is assigned to the tenth area, and because Hai Lun Na is his secretary, he specially called her up today to pilot a small boat.

When he arrived at the site, several commanders with their shipgirls were already waiting; upon seeing Qin Ge approach, they all respectfully shouted, 「Qin Ge Instructor! 」

「Hehe, today I am not an instructor; today I am here as a judge, so is everyone present? 」Qin Ge asked the crowd.

Because the Commander Academy now has 380 commanders, after dividing into ten areas each area has only 38 commanders conducting the drill.

「Not yet, a few people haven't arrived yet; they'll be here soon, please wait a moment, Qin Ge Instructor. 」One person said to Qin Ge.

「Hmm, it's fine. 」Qin Ge nodded with a smile, 「I still have some preparations to do; waiting a bit doesn't matter. 」

Thus, Qin Ge had Hai Lun Na take out the communication device, judge's uniform, scoreboard, etc., that Anshan had prepared earlier, and then had her wait on the nearby small boat.

While Qin Ge was changing clothes in front of everyone, several other commanders had already taken their places; looking at the full body of 38 commanders, Qin Ge spotted a familiar face—his Grand Fleet's Wang Yueqin.

Smiling, he nodded at Wang Yueqin, then Qin Ge told the crowd, 「Since everyone is already here, we shall prepare to begin; first up is the drill between No. 1 and No. 38 of the tenth area—please have the two commanders come forward to report. 」

Thus, from the crowd stepped out two commanders, each followed by two to three shipgirls; at a glance this number of shipgirls indicates they are second-year students.

Qin Ge handed the communication device to the two, after checking their shipgirls' ammunition status, then said to them, 「Hand the communication device to the shipgirls who will go on stage; wait for the shipgirls to take their positions, then I will ask whether to start, and once confirmed we can officially begin. 」

If you need to explain tactics, please do so during this time; afterwards, when you go on stage, everything will rely on the shipgirls to conduct the drill combat.

「Yes, Qin Ge Instructor. 」The two nodded at Qin Ge and said.
