Chapter 250: Storage Room
"That's the one I told you about before." Mikasa explained to Xianghe.
"Whoa... I remember now, the thing Mikasa-senpai told us about before, her collection." Zuikaku's interest was instantly raised.
"Ship models?" Xianghe also said, very interested.
"Huh? You haven't gone to see Mikasa-senpai's collection all this time?" Qin Ge was a bit puzzled.
After all, Mikasa used to return to Sakura Empire every summer vacation, and the two sisters of the 5th Carrier Division were there too—how could they not have seen her collection?
"No, we've just heard about it." Zuikaku explained, "Because we usually patrol the main island, and after patrol we each have our own things to do, so we never can find the time."
"And even though Mikasa-senpai is back, that doesn't mean she has time, because Admiral Zhang Men really likes being with Mikasa-senpai."
Qin Ge nodded, acknowledging that such a possibility indeed exists, after all, visiting the storage room requires both parties to have time.
"So why not, since you're here today, let's go visit together?" Mikasa said to Xianghe and Zuikaku.
"Of course, I've been wanting to go for a while!" Zuikaku stood up excitedly.
Meanwhile, Biaoqiang by the door, after hearing the conversation inside, didn't leave either, just stood by the door waiting for Mikasa and her commander's decision.
"Then let's go together." Mikasa smiled.
Everyone stood up together, followed behind Mikasa, and walked toward her storage room.
Xianghe and Zuikaku followed at the rear, and Zuikaku said to Xianghe, "Older sister, should we notify the two seniors?"
"Hehe, what's the point of notifying them? Besides, we might see the 1st Carrier Division seniors' ship models later—wouldn't bringing them over just be awkward?" Xianghe said.
"Yeah, what the older sister said is right." Zuikaku nodded and said.
At that moment, everyone stopped in front of a room door, on which a very sturdy large lock had been installed. At a glance, it was the kind of lock that would be hard to pry open by force without tools.
Mikasa stood beside the large lock, lightly waving her hand in the air, and a relatively large key appeared in her hand—apparently even this key is something she keeps on her person.
After gently unlocking the door, Mikasa pushed open the dust-sealed room, and the entire room's condition was revealed before everyone.
Many cabinets were neatly arranged around the walls in rows, each cabinet holding ship models, and in the middle there was also a large table, neatly displaying some capital ship models.
"Wow, this is the legendary collection of Mikasa-senpai!" Biaoqiang excitedly looked at the ship models in the room and exclaimed in surprise.
Mikasa stepped into the room first, looked at the collection inside, and said to everyone, "Come, enjoy yourselves—these are all items I painstakingly collected!"
Her proud expression made everyone smile involuntarily; it seemed Mikasa really liked collecting ship models.
Then everyone entered the room one after another, looking at the neatly arranged ship models, and began examining them one by one. Valley
"Hehe, look at this perfect structure, look at this finely crafted and exquisitely restored turret, and those towering bridges—these are all works of art!" Mikasa pointed out to everyone regarding the ship models.
While everyone was looking at the battleships, Xianghe and Zuikaku walked over to the carrier section nearby.
"The Phoenix Soaring, I see now that the prototype ship of Senior Phoenix Soaring looks like this." Zuikaku laughed while looking at the Phoenix Soaring ship model.
"Hehe, I've actually found something nice!" Xianghe stopped by a pair of ship models, smiling as she spoke, though her laugh sounded a bit strange.
Zuikaku looked over, and those two ship models were actually the models of the 1st Carrier Division's Akagi and Kaga.
All we heard was Xianghe smiling and saying, "The models of the 1st Carrier Division seniors make one want to do something to them, hehehe..."
"Sis, older sister..." Zuikaku, seeing Xianghe like that, was speechless, but she didn't know what to say, so she walked past Xianghe.
Next, she saw the ship models of the 2nd Carrier Division's Qinglong and Feilong, "The models of Senpai Qinglong and Senpai Feilong look impressive. What about mine?"
Thinking about that, Zuikaku continued looking backward, and indeed behind a few ship models she found her own ship model.
"Why do I feel a bit shy seeing my own ship model..." Zuikaku's face turned red as she looked at her own ship model, feeling a bit embarrassed.
But this is normal, because ship girls are the incarnations of warships, and the ship models placed here are equivalent to making a figurine of the ship girl at her own scale, placed here for people to admire. And surely when the person herself sees these figurines, she will feel an inexplicable embarrassment.
Thinking this, Zuikaku looked toward her older sister beside her, only to find that her sister was still staring at the two ship models of the 1st Carrier Division, not knowing what she was thinking, but the smile at the corner of her mouth never ceased.
Meanwhile, on the other side, Biyu, standing next to Qin Ge, looked at the room filled with ship models and couldn't help but say softly, "As expected of Mikasa-senpai's storage room... It would be nice if we could hold a banquet here..."
Qin Ge, hearing that, couldn't help but turn his head, look at the pondering Biyu, and couldn't help but laugh, "Just thinking about it is fine; if we actually proposed it, we might not be able to stay here."
Biyu smiled faintly, "I'm just saying, after all, banquets are suitable for places that are more ceremoniously commemorative."
Qin Ge laughed and shook his head, "You always can't forget that. Speaking of which, have you found the Kongou-class model of yours?"
Biyu's face flushed slightly, she shook her head, "Not yet; if the commander wants to see it, you can try looking for it yourself."
Actually, Biyu had already found it, but she didn't want to tell Qin Ge. Because then she'd have to bring Qin Ge over to view it—imagine having to personally display her own warship side to her commander; wouldn't that become an embarrassing play?
So Biyu would absolutely not do such a thing, and even if Qin Ge found it later, it would be him finding it on his own. This kind of embarrassment is much lighter than an embarrassing play.
Qin Ge looked at the blushing Biyu and nodded, "Then I'll look for it myself; although I've already looked before, I suppose the ones here should be more refined than those at the academy."
After Qin Ge finished speaking, he began searching among the capital ship group for the Kongou-class ship model. Meanwhile, Biyu quietly left Qin Ge's side and went to another area.
She now has only one thought in her mind: too embarrassing!
