Chapter 377: Covering the Sky, Blocking the Sun

「Qinglong Bureau Chief, I want to clarify: among these over 1000 aircraft carrier shipgirls, how many are regular carriers? How many are light carriers? 」Qin Ge said to Qinglong.

「Among these over 1000 aircraft carrier shipgirls, auxiliary aircraft carriers total over 400, and the rest are all main-force attack-type aircraft carriers. 」Qinglong said.

「Among them, there are over 400 light carriers and over 600 regular carriers. 」Qinglong said.

Qin Ge nodded, turned his body toward the screen, walked to the side of the display, and picked up a long rod from the side, saying:

「This is our command headquarters, and also the gathering place of our aircraft carrier fleet. According to the sea area we currently marked, the enemy Sirens' main force will basically come from these five locations. 」Qin Ge said to Qinglong.

These five waterways are also the five most important waterways in our sea area; the other waterways all have reefs, unsuitable for warships to advance.

So I plan to divide these aircraft carriers into five aircraft carrier battalions. Each aircraft carrier battalion, with a configuration of 120 regular carriers and 80 light carriers, will be placed respectively in five different directions outside the command headquarters.

And now, you notify the commanders of the other grand fleets to go to these five waterways to set up ambushes, awaiting our orders.

Qinglong nodded, "Hmm, no problem, then how should we arrange them?"

Qinglong said this, looking at Essex and York City standing aside. Honestly, two awakened shipgirls have joined this battle; Qinglong still welcomes them, provided the two can follow orders.

Qin Ge turned his head to look at York City and Essex, saying: "My shipgirl Guanghui will serve as the flagship of the first carrier squadron, Miss York City will serve as the flagship of the second carrier fleet, and Miss Essex will serve as the flagship of the third carrier fleet. The flagships of the other two carrier fleets hope that Bureau Chief Qinglong can select two fully trained, experienced shipgirls to serve."

Qinglong nodded, "I know, I will arrange for the two fully trained shipgirls from the Maritime Affairs Bureau to serve."

Qin Ge nodded, "Alright, let's get set up quickly; I feel the battle will start soon."

"No problem." Qinglong nodded, then took Qin Ge's aircraft carrier shipgirls, as well as York City and Essex, and left the command headquarters.

After Qinglong left, Bisimai stepped forward and said to Qin Ge, "Commander, where have you decided to place us? Have you forgotten?"

Qin Ge smiled, "How could I forget you? Later, you will take my command ship out and act as a support fleet active on the battlefield; I will keep you updated on orders."

Upon hearing Qin Ge's words, the remaining shipgirls all breathed a sigh of relief, fearing that Qin Ge would worry about their safety, thus preventing them from going into battle.

You should know, being able to participate in such a massive battle is an honor for every shipgirl.

Not long after, Qinglong came back in, walked to the side of the monitor, pressed a button, and shrunk the map on the monitor, switching it to a video.

In the video, at this moment countless grand fleet command ships slowly sail toward the distance on the sea surface, while at the nearby port, the third carrier fleet led by Essex leaps into the sea one after another, as blue light flashes, ship equipment appears beside them.

Beside Essex, an eagle cry rang out, a bald eagle appeared on her shoulder. In her hand, a white eagle flag appeared.

"They've already set off." Qin Ge watched the scene before him and softly said.

"That's right." Qinglong nodded, "From now on, you will command the overall situation."

Qin Ge nodded, "I now need real-time updates of the global sea map, preparation of frontline intelligence, and a communication device that can connect with all commanders and aircraft carrier fleets."

"Already ready." Qinglong said, and immediately took out a dedicated communication device from her ship equipment space and placed it in front of Qin Ge.

"This communication device can contact all command ships; it has corresponding numbers, which are the numbers of all grand fleets, and the positions of all grand fleets have already been marked on the sea map, allowing quick switching."

Qinglong said, and the big screen in front of her switched to show the just-mentioned sea map; indeed, the sea map is already filled with rows of serial numbers, and these serial numbers are also slowly moving.

"Then there's no problem; I can handle the rest from now on." Qin Ge nodded, "Right, Bureau Chief Qinglong, please give Bisimai a communication terminal. I need her to lead my grand fleet as a support fleet to support the grand fleets that need help."

Qinglong smiled slightly, "It seems Commander Qin Ge, even in this situation, hasn't thought about relaxing."

Qin Ge smiled, "I must quickly increase my strength to stand on a larger stage. Not only for myself, but also for my shipgirls."

Qinglong naturally understood what Qin Ge meant by that remark, said nothing, and directly took out a communication device and handed it to Bisimai beside her, using her action to show support for Qin Ge.

Immediately, Bisimai took leave of all the shipgirls with Qin Ge, walking outside the command headquarters. She now needs to take Qin Ge's place, leading the members of other grand fleets in battle at sea.

After Bisimai left Qin Ge and turned her gaze to the big screen, when she saw that the five numbers around the sea island had already become stationary, Qin Ge not only nodded, but quickly pushed open the communicators for those five numbers.

"All aircraft carrier fleets, please note: release all your carrier-based aircraft, using the five waterways as base points, to conduct all-directional reconnaissance. If you discover small enemy fleets, destroy them directly, no need to report; if you discover the direction of the Siren main force, report immediately."

Qin Ge solemnly said into the communication device; after he finished speaking, five responses appeared on the communication device side.

「All carrier Fleets, please note: release all of your Carrier Aircraft, using the five channels as reference points, and conduct omnidirectional search. If you discover a small enemy fleet, destroy it directly, no need to report; if you discover the direction of the Sirens' main force, report immediately. 」

Qin Ge spoke solemnly into the communications device; after he finished speaking, five responses appeared on the communications device side.

"……"

At the same moment, a huge roaring sound rose from the surroundings of the small island, that being the sound of engines roaring together. The outside sky instantly darkened, and as the carrier-based aircraft took off, the sunlight shining from the sun was all blocked by these carrier-based aircraft.

Qin Ge and them naturally saw this scene inside the command headquarters; he stopped lowering his hand from the communication device, foolishly gazing out the window at the sky full of carrier-based aircraft.

Meanwhile, the grand fleets far away from the small island also heard this sound, and they involuntarily went up to the bow to look toward the small island.

Only see the sky-darkening aircraft, like locusts, flying up into the sky; wherever they go, the sea surface becomes pitch dark.

"Is this the combined strength of the aircraft carrier fleet? How terrifying!" Zhang Shiping gazed at the scene before him, involuntarily sucking in a breath of cold air.

All that could be seen were sky-covering, sun-blocking aircraft, which, like a swarm of locusts, flew up into the sky; wherever they passed, the sea surface was shrouded in darkness.

"Is this the combined power of the aircraft carrier Fleet? It's terrifying!" Zhang Shiping gazed at the scene before him, and couldn't help but suck in a breath.
