Chapter 41: Training Update

On the way back, Qin Ge, Mikasa, and a few others including Miaogao walked together, discussing some things from the meeting just now. Regarding that point that Miaogao had previously raised, although everyone expressed different opinions, they ultimately couldn't escape the framework previously mentioned by the Prince of Wales.

"The Dean is absolutely right; these new commanders have already made a great sacrifice just by coming to the academy. If we make them face the cruelty of war as soon as they enter school, that really seems inhumane." Mikasa said.

"Indeed, a disciplined commander easily brings forth disciplined shipgirls." Miaogao smiled, "I've also seen Commander Qin Ge persisting with morning exercises these past two days."

"It's become a habit; if I don't train, I feel like something's missing." Qin Ge laughed.

"So what are you planning to do next?" Mikasa asked.

"I plan to go to the training area to check out their training results, then tomorrow let them team up with Fushun for exercises." Qin Ge replied.

"Wait, exercises with Fushun?" Mikasa said in surprise, "Has that girl Fushun agreed to it?"

Qin Ge then told them about the agreement he had reached with Fushun that day, and Mikasa and the others couldn't help but laugh.

"That girl Fushun really doesn't suffer any loss, but speaking of which, she's also over 90 in proficiency, so exercising with her you truly won't lose out." A Furore said with a laugh.

"What A Furore senior said is absolutely correct; that girl Fushun may be mischievous, but she's genuinely a high-proficiency shipgirl; she'll help you point out your shipgirls' shortcomings, and after several exercises, your shipgirls will grow even faster." Miaogao smiled.

"Adding your tactical layout, I'm optimistic about your performance in the Exercise League in the future." Mikasa nodded.

Qin Ge rubbed his nose, "You all say that, but if I end up not getting a good placement then, how could I face you?"

"Haha, don't feel pressured; I'll often come to your place later, I can give your Nengdai special treatment, but the precondition is that you have to drink with me." A Furore said.

"Nope." A Furore gave a light laugh.

"Looks like the recent training has been going well." Qin Ge gave a slight smile and walked toward the Banrenma beside the dock.

Only when the three carrier aircraft above simultaneously turned into blue arrows appearing inside the cockpit did the Banrenma notice Qin Ge standing on the dock behind him.

"Huh, Commander, how did you come?" the Banrenma showed a smile, quickly gliding to the dock's edge and leaping to his side.

"The meeting's over, so I came to check on your training." Qin Ge said with a smile, "After all, I've been swamped the past few days, needing to catch up on knowledge, so I haven't had time to train with you."

"It's nothing." the Banrenma shook his head, "The Commander is diligently completing his work; as shipgirls, we naturally can't slack off."

Qin Ge immediately smiled, reached out and stroked the Banrenma's golden hair, "Thanks for your hard work."

"No problem." the Banrenma's face flushed slightly.

"Hehe, how about Nengdai?" Qin Ge smiled.

"Senior Nengdai is practicing torpedo accuracy." the Banrenma explained, "Just now my carrier aircraft found a target for her, she launched the torpedo, and is now heading to personally inspect the explosion."

"I see." Qin Ge nodded, "Then rest a bit; when Nengdai returns, we'll go eat together."

The Banrenma nodded, "Yeah, Commander."
