Chapter 483

I already know why you came here; Hu Feng has already reported it to me. So what demands does your Grand Fleet have this time? Or rather, what demands does Commander Qin Ge have?

In the office of the Shenhua City Maritime Affairs Bureau, Maritime Affairs Bureau Director Qinglong smiled at Li Chenming, who stood before him, and said.

Isn't this, Director Qinglong, against the rules? Shouldn't our Grand Fleet recruit in the Grand Hall like the other Grand Fleets? Li Chenming said, breaking into a cold sweat.

Actually, after returning to Shenhua City, he went straight to the Maritime Affairs Bureau, since quite some time had passed since Graduation Time, and he still wondered how many commanders remained unassigned.

But when he arrived at the Maritime Affairs Bureau, he was directly summoned to Director Qinglong's office. Qinglong smiled and asked him these questions; feeling so honored was still a first for him, so Li Chenming now felt a bit uneasy.

How special is your Grand Fleet—do I really need to spell it out for you? Qinglong gave him an annoyed look. "Speaking as the Vice Commander of your Grand Fleet, your position is equivalent to the high ranks of some factions."

Your Commander Qin Ge's strength now can touch the edge of the top power of some factions—no, it can be said he has already reached it. Don't you still feel how special your Grand Fleet is?

Li Chenming couldn't help but smile awkwardly; he knew how formidable his commander was. Although his commander still kept many secrets from them, fleet strength is something out in the open, so a little attention is enough to know it.

Now his fully trained shipgirls already number at least over ten, and awakened shipgirls also number at least seven or eight. This already exceeds ordinary commanders; he can now match up against some weaker factions.

The commander's request is very simple, namely the original intention of establishing our Star Sea Grand Fleet: aim for the front line and fight hard. Moreover, we must obey orders and complete all tasks without compromise.

Although awkward, what needed to be said still had to be said; Li Chenming spoke solemnly to Qinglong.

"So that's the requirement?" Qinglong nodded involuntarily, looking thoughtful.

Li Chenming, seeing Qinglong's expression, felt doubtful and his heart uneasy: "Director Qinglong, is this requirement actually very difficult?"

Qinglong lifted his head to look at Li Chenming: "No, it's just that this condition is too simple. I thought, given Qin Ge's current perspective, he would ask for something higher."

Li Chenming smiled: "Our fleet is also developing; only the commander stands out in performance. For us, we currently don't have the qualifications to demand so much."

Qinglong chuckled: "Alright, how many do you plan to recruit this time? I'll coordinate for you then. Also, will you recruit only newly graduated commanders, or also those who have lost their grand fleets?"

"We will accept them too, after all we are no longer in the Academy, so our recruitment scope is broader." Li Chenming said.

"Good, then I'll arrange it for you; you can handle it yourself when the time comes." Qinglong said.

"Then thank you, Director Qinglong." Li Chenming quickly thanked.

While Li Chenming was busy preparing recruitment, Qin Ge brought Zhenhai to Mingshi's general store.

He skillfully pressed the cat-claw button on the door; shortly after, the door opened and Mingshi appeared before Qin Ge.

"Meow? Commander Qin Ge, you're right on time, meow." Mingshi said upon seeing Qin Ge at the door.

"Didn't we already agree on that? So I came today to pick up the items." Qin Ge said to Mingshi.

"Just a moment, meow." After saying that, Mingshi immediately turned and darted into the back room.

Qin Ge and Zhenhai then entered Mingshi's general store, seeing some items neatly arranged on the shelves. As the two inspected them, Mingshi emerged from the back room carrying a box.

"Analyzing these items took me a lot of effort, Commander Qin Ge; you've made a big profit this time, meow!" Mingshi placed the box on the floor in front of Qin Ge and looked up at him.

Qin Ge couldn't help but laugh: "No, I can't say I made a big profit; we both profited, and it's a win‑win. I heard from Yue Ke Cheng and the others that several factions have placed orders with you."

"Hehe… Commander Qin Ge, your information is really thorough; even this you know, meow." Mingshi said embarrassedly.

Qin Ge smiled: "Do you sell colored Ship Equipment?"

Mingshi shook his head: "Although I'm quite fond of money, I still have certain principles; I never break what I promise customers, meow."

Qin Ge laughed: "I don't know who originally sold that paint box, but now they're talking about principles?"

Mingshi instantly flushed embarrassed: "That paint was from Shiranui; it has nothing to do with me, meow."

"But you clearly knew it was Shiranui's paint, yet you didn't stop it, even put it on sale and profited from the gold box. How do you explain that?" Qin Ge said.

"…" Mingshi was speechless; this had become a lifelong stain. "Commander Qin Ge, you're not here to mock me, are you? You'd better look at these things first."

"Cough, indeed." Qin Ge coughed, then squatted down and opened the box in front of him.

Upon opening the box, five Wisdom Cubes were neatly arranged inside, though all of them were purplish‑red in color.

Besides those Wisdom Cubes, several Ship Equipment cores were placed nearby—some gold, some colored—emitting a faint glow, looking very impressive.

"So, those blueprints only produced these five research cubes?" Qin Ge asked.

"Yes, I originally thought those blueprints could be reused like the weapon blueprints, meow, but after testing we found they cannot."

"Each time a Wisdom Cube is completed, the research blueprint automatically merges into these research cubes, meow. This is the main way these Elemental Magic Cubes succeed; otherwise you'd just get a block filled with Wisdom energy." Mingshi said to Qin Ge.

"Well then, can these gold Ship Equipment weapons be mass‑produced, and the colored ones too?" Qin Ge asked.

"No, these colored Ship Equipment weapons, like the research cubes, must also have their weapon blueprints merged into the equipment at the end. Moreover, with my current abilities I cannot produce colored weapon blueprints at all, so colored Ship Equipment weapons cannot be mass‑produced, meow." Mingshi said.

"So that's the reason you refuse to help them make colored weapons?" Qin Ge laughed.

"…"
