Chapter 645: Helena from Another World
"Sure enough, you and that Ge Nai Sen Nao and Enterprise are all shipgirls from another world." Qin Ge looked at Hai Lun Na in front of him and said.
"Yes, but we come from a different world than they do; we are just a group of people barely scraping by." Hai Lun Na said with a smile, as if she were talking about someone else, not herself.
Qin Ge's brows furrowed as he felt that the Hai Lun Na before him and his own Hai Lun Na were simply two different personalities.
At first, his Hai Lun Na's eyes were filled with worry; as the time they spent together lengthened, she gradually opened her heart, and now she can smile at everyone.
But the Hai Lun Na before him was different; although her face was all smiles, Qin Ge could feel that the smile was merely a disguise. Moreover, the feeling of keeping people at arm's length that accompanied her smile could not be hidden.
"Because of the Arbitration Agency?" Qin Ge said after thinking.
"No, although they look formidable, they're just meddlesome people and can't yet be called our enemies." Hai Lun Na said with a smile.
Qin Ge stared, gazing at Hai Lun Na before him, "Looks like there's still a lot I don't know."
That Hai Lun Na smiled and said, "Knowing too much isn't necessarily a good thing, especially when you realize you can't do anything."
Upon hearing that, Qin Ge said to Hai Lun Na before him, "So, you're the same?"
"No, I know a lot, but the more I know, the more I feel my own helplessness. Do you think you can change all of this, Commander Qin Ge?" Hai Lun Na said with a smile.
Qin Ge shook his head. "I don't know, but I'll try to do it, just like I told my Hai Lun Na: I will lead her to victory, even if the road ahead is an abyss, I will do my utmost."
"How interesting, I suddenly feel a bit envious of your Hai Lun Na." Hai Lun Na smiled. "However, this time I came here not to chat with you, but to tell you something: please don't go to Donghuang."
"Why?" Qin Ge blurted out.
"Because stationed there is not just an Executor, but also the Arbiter Si Te Lian Ku Si. With your current fleet strength, you are far from being able to fight her; going to Donghuang would just be throwing your life away." Hai Lun Na said.
"Arbiter Si Te Lian Ku Si? Is it the same kind of existence as the two Arbiters we encountered before?" Qin Ge exclaimed.
"Yes, the Arbiters you previously encountered were He Mi Te and Tian Pa Lan Si. The reason He Mi Te didn't kill you back then was because the person they were seeking appeared, so they returned to their main mission." Hai Lun Na said.
"I see, that's why I said they suddenly left." Qin Ge nodded, then said to Hai Lun Na before him, "Thank you for letting me know something I didn't know. However, I must go to Donghuang; this is my mission."
"Commander Qin Ge, didn't you understand my words?" Hai Lun Na smiled. "I said going to Donghuang will get you killed; do you understand?"
Qin Ge chuckled. "Understood, but what then? Just because I'm afraid of death, should I not fight?"
"You……" Hai Lun Na was momentarily speechless, perhaps due to anger, or perhaps for other reasons.
"I am a commander; now the Siren Fleet is ravaging the place where I once lived. If I don't do something, how could I possibly live up to this title?"
"So, thank you for the information you provided. If I survive my trip to Donghuang this time, I welcome you to visit my Gangqu in the future. If I truly meet my end as you said, then all of this is my own doing." Qin Ge said to Hai Lun Na before him, his expression very calm.
"What will happen to your shipgirls if you die?" Hai Lun Na stared deeply at Qin Ge and said, while also putting away the smile she had constantly worn on her face.
Qin Ge shook his head. "I haven't thought about it; maybe they'll be sad. But even so, I don't want them to live in self-blame."
"How interesting." Hai Lun Na suddenly laughed. "Commander Qin Ge, you're truly an interesting person; I suddenly find myself becoming interested in you."
Immediately, Hai Lun Na took out a badge-like object from the Jia Zhuang Kong Jian and threw it to Qin Ge.
Qin Ge caught the badge, lowered his head to look, and saw that the badge was black, with an emblem engraved on it: a burning flame-like mark.
"What is this?" Qin Ge asked, raising his head.
"It's something that can save your life; you must keep it safe. If you lose it, even I won't be able to help you." Hai Lun Na said with a smile.
"Why?" Qin Ge asked.
"No particular reason; I just find you interesting." Hai Lun Na smiled, turned her head away, and left a silhouette for Qin Ge.
"By the way, I forgot to tell you, Commander Qin Ge, the so-called Awakening you're experiencing now isn't really Awakening; it's just a deception by An Di Ke Si, merely a memetic change."
"You are far from reaching true Awakening, so never underestimate your own strength; your shipgirls have infinite potential."
After Hai Lun Na finished speaking, she vanished in an instant before Qin Ge's eyes. This sight made Qin Ge involuntarily furrow his brows; he lowered his head to glance at the badge in his hand, "Awakening isn't Awakening, huh?"
However, what Hai Lun Na said was too vague, so Qin Ge couldn't fully analyze the meaning of her words for a moment.
Afterwards he shook his head, glanced at the direction where Hai Lun Na disappeared, then continued walking downstairs, returning to the Command Ship.
After all the shipgirls finished resupplying, when everyone returned to the Command Ship, Enterprise and the others found Qin Ge sitting on the sofa, looking deep in thought.
"Commander, we've finished resupplying; we can set out at any time." Enterprise said to Qin Ge.
Qin Ge raised his head and nodded at his shipgirls. "Let's go; keep an eye on the sea conditions at all times."
"Yes." Enterprise and the others replied, then each went about their business. Only Guanghui noticed a hint of something off with Qin Ge, sat beside him, and began to ask.
"Commander, do you have something on your mind?"
Qin Ge glanced at Guanghui and couldn't help but smile. "I'm thinking about that person I just met."
"Commander just met someone else in the Frontline Command; why didn't we notice?" Guanghui said in surprise.
"Because she comes from another world, just as North Carolina said before, our radar can't detect them; we can only rely on the naked eye." Qin Ge said to Guanghui.
"Commander, are you saying you encountered a shipgirl from another world?" Guanghui exclaimed.
Qin Ge nodded, glanced into the distance, and said to the busy Hai Lun Na, "It's Hai Lun Na, a shipgirl from another world."
"Ah?" Guanghui covered her mouth and exclaimed...
