Chapter 649: Unexpected Assistance

After passing through the sea of fire, a broader view appeared before Yixian, Ninghai, and Ping Hai.

"How... how is this possible!" Ninghai exclaimed in surprise.

Because in front of her, she saw the Siren Fleet that had just ordered her and two others to prepare to die, being swept sideways by a fleet of shipgirls with thunderous force.

The carrier aircraft's offensive, combined with the vanguard shipgirls' torpedoes, at the moment of approaching the Siren Fleet, first tossed the torpedoes carried by the carrier aircraft, letting the torpedo attack shatter the black mist enveloping the Siren mass-produced warships.

Immediately after, the vanguard shipgirls' torpedoes followed up, delivering a devastating strike against the exposed armor positions of the Siren mass-produced warships.

The remaining carrier aircraft, carrying aerial bombs, flew to the airspace above more distant warships and dropped the bombs; after shattering the black mist, a barrage of artillery fire followed.

A powerful artillery strike pierced the entire mass-produced hull in one blow, causing a massive explosion.

"An entire Siren Fleet, just wiped out like that..." Besides the surprised Ninghai, Yixian beside her also slightly opened her mouth, showing a shocked expression.

"Is this really the fleet of Commander Qin Ge? Such powerful ability... it's truly terrifying." Ping Hai also exclaimed in awe.

At the moment Yixian and her two companions were astonished, the Prince of Wales' surprise was equally undisguised. Having promised Yixian rapid support, but having just broken away from the central line, they encountered the embarrassed Anshan and female commanders, etc.

The Prince of Wales did not hesitate, first helping Anshan and the female commanders stabilize their defensive formation, then when intending to go assist Yixian, she saw wave after wave of carrier aircraft swooping in to assault the Siren Fleet.

"Has Qinglong arrived?" the Prince of Wales exclaimed delightedly at the sight of the carrier aircraft, but she quickly noticed an anomaly: "These are not Sakura Empire's carrier aircraft; they are Royal and White Eagle models, and there is also an attack echelon of carrier aircraft led by Awakened Shipgirls!"

As she was puzzled, she saw those carrier aircraft conduct a round of bombing against the Siren Fleet. However, unlike ordinary bombing, their individual bomb coverage area was large; they were not conducting concentrated bombardment but rather widespread bomb dispersal.

"What is this for? Such attacks are ineffective against a natural fleet, even for Awakened Shipgirls!" the Prince of Wales stood stunned, shouting somewhat excitedly.

But an incredible scene appeared: within this widespread bombing, the black mist on the Siren warships was blown apart, revealing the armor positions, albeit only for an instant.

But at that very instant, a sky-full of shells and barrage came in succession, powerfully penetrating the armor of the Siren mass-produced warships, subsequently triggering a chain-reaction explosion.

"This..." the Prince of Wales, faced with this shocking scene unfolding before her eyes, could hardly close her mouth, for she knew how troublesome these Siren mass-produced warships were.

Even for an Awakened Shipgirl like her, a single attack could only take away one warship; and an attack like this, piece by piece, she could scarcely imagine.

"Who exactly is it? Who came to support?" This question instantly cleared the Prince of Wales' mind, and she hurriedly called out in the communicator.

"Dean, isn't this the support you called for?" Maryland's voice appeared in the communicator, her voice tinged with excitement, of course still a bit dazed.

"It's not Qinglong's little ones; it's more like the little ones of Royal and White Eagle." Mikasa's voice also appeared in the communicator.

"This is not the support I called for; this attack was launched from the rear of the Siren Fleet." the Prince of Wales said.

At that moment, a voice sounded from the communicator, it was Yixian's voice: "Dean, it's Commander Qin Ge; he has brought his fleet to come support."

"Yixian, hearing that you're safe is truly wonderful." the Prince of Wales immediately replied, "Have you seen Qin Ge?"

"No, but I have seen his Belfast; beside her are two Royal Maid shipgirls, she told me it is Qin Ge's fleet, and now I am right beside them." Yixian reported.

"Qin Ge?" Mikasa's voice appeared, looking also quite surprised: "How could he be here?"

"I don't know, but he is indeed here." Yixian affirmed.

"Well, Qin Ge's guy showing up is truly too timely!" a hearty voice sounded, namely A Furore: "This is an opportunity, Prince of Wales, order a counterattack!"

"Indeed." the Prince of Wales shouted into the communicator: "Everyone, cooperate with Qin Ge Fleet's attack and launch a counteroffensive against the Siren Fleet!"

"Understood!"

The sound of artillery fire rang out again; although the Prince of Wales and her companions' strength could not be compared to the annihilation speed of Qin Ge Fleet, holding back the current decline was still no problem, especially as the Siren Fleet was being struck from behind by Qin Ge's fleet in this manner.

At this moment, positioned behind the Siren Fleet, Qin Ge was holding up a telescope to observe the battlefield.

Their rapid advance let them quickly cross the bay of Zhoul Island, entering the waters near the Commander Academy. Especially when the carrier aircraft of Banrenma and others discovered the situation of Yixian and her two companions, Qin Ge immediately ordered Belfast, Chai Jun, and Tianlangxing, under the cover of Banrenma, Guanghui, and Fearless, to proceed to the rescue.

Among the six-person team, four were Awakened Shipgirls; their speed instantly surpassed that of the command ship at full ahead, successfully rescuing Yixian and her companions. The shields on Yixian and her two companions, and the Siren's sudden cessation of movement, were due to the abilities of Guanghui and Fearless.

Meanwhile, those responsible for firepower output in the rear were Monarch and King George V and a few others; their coordination had long been flawless, so the timing of their gunfire was precise to the minutest detail, enabling a single attack to wipe out a swath of Siren forces.

At the same time, Enterprise, Weineituo, and Zhenhai each led a group of shipgirls, launching devastating strikes toward several other directions. This is also why, aside from the Prince of Wales, the support mentioned by Mikasa and Maryland and others exists.

"All units, note: they are now increasing firepower, cooperating with us as we prepare to annihilate this Siren force; do not hold back, give your all to swiftly annihilate this Siren force." Qin Ge said over the communicator.

"Understood, Commander."

The voices of Enterprise, Zhenhai, King George V, and Weineituo appeared in the communicator; thereafter, a stronger offensive began to unfold.

Torpedoes, carrier aircraft, naval guns, underwater, surface, and air—three-in-one strikes began to unfold. With each round of attack, the number of Siren Fleet vessels decreased at a visible pace; while this pleased the Prince of Wales and her companions, it also secretly shocked them.

Because when Qin Ge left the academy, the Prince of Wales also understood his fleet's strength. Although strong, the gap compared to them was still evident; his being able to go to Sun and Moon Island was also due to the accompaniment of envoys from other factions.

During that period, some understanding was also gained; merely hearing that his shipgirls had increased in number and grown stronger, but the understanding of their quantity and strength remained insufficiently clear.

And this time, upon meeting again, the Prince of Wales suddenly felt that she might have underestimated him.
