Chapter 65: Chapter Sixty-Five: The Truth of Everything

Besides, take a look at this letter." The Prince of Wales said, taking out the second letter from his drawer and handing it to Qin Ge.

This is……" Qin Ge looked at the familiar envelope, somewhat surprised, and said, "Wasn't this the letter of introduction Xu Xin gave me earlier?"

The Prince of Wales nodded, "Yes, you'll understand after you read it."

Qin Ge opened the letter of introduction and saw what Xu Xin had written inside.

After reading it, he raised his head with a strange expression and said to the Prince of Wales, "So there was never that 3 million? Dean, were you just messing with me back then?"

The Prince of Wales's face flushed, he turned his head slightly and said, "The key is that back then I didn't really know your true identity or purpose, so I just went along with it."

Qin Ge rolled his eyes; although he was somewhat speechless, he could understand the Prince of Wales's concerns.

At that time, Qin Ge belonged to the "three-no" personnel. He had no definite information, no background, and even his purpose was unknown. If such personnel were placed in his world back then, they would definitely be detained for a period, and only after confirming there was no danger would they be processed according to procedure.

However, the Prince of Wales kept him with that flimsy excuse, and even considered his specialty to give him the position of assistant teacher, which allowed Qin Ge to smoothly integrate into the Azure Lane Commander Academy.

Qin Ge raised his head and smiled slightly, "I'm still very grateful that Dean Prince of Wales could trust me."

The Prince of Wales shook his head, "Today isn't just simply apologizing to you, because from now on, when you start training these commanders, you will officially enter Donghuang's commander system.

Your name will become widely known, and more and more people will come to know it, so after I explain these matters to you, I still want to ask: what exactly is your identity?

Given your theoretical knowledge and military cultivation, you couldn't possibly be just a young person who accidentally ran to the edge of the city defense zone. So I hope we can be frank with each other.

This……" Qin Ge hesitated a bit, but he also felt this was an opportunity.

During the time he has been learning about the history of the shipgirls, the Prince of Wales should be considered one of the earliest batch of shipgirls to appear; perhaps he really knows something, perhaps he can truly return to his own world.

Thus Qin Ge looked at the Prince of Wales and said, "Actually, I am not a person of this world; I come from another world whose history is similar to this one."

Indeed…… it seems my guess wasn't far off." The Prince of Wales nodded and said.

At this point, it turned out to be Qin Ge who was more surprised, "Dean, did you previously guess that I was from another world?"

The Prince of Wales shook his head, "It's not that I guessed you were from another world, but that I guessed your origin is roughly similar to ours, the shipgirls'. Actually, speaking of it, we are not from this world either, but due to various reasons we came to this world; as for what those reasons are, we don't know either."

Ah! Then does that mean I can't go back to my previous world?" Qin Ge said somewhat dejectedly.

I don't know; no one can give you an answer to this question, because the matter actually involves a lot. Perhaps the only ones who know the answer to this question are our opponents." The Prince of Wales said.

You mean, the Sirens?!" Qin Ge exclaimed in surprise.

Exactly." The Prince of Wales nodded, "The Sirens were the first to appear in this world, then came us. Therefore the Sirens must know our origins very well, because they also have imitations similar to ours over there."

Indeed, that's what the history I've seen also says." Qin Ge nodded and said.

Then what was your identity in your original world?" At this moment, the Prince of Wales changed the subject, smiling as he asked Qin Ge.

I was a graduate of the Naval Command Academy, just about to head to my unit when, while rescuing a person who had fallen into the water, I inadvertently came to this world." Qin Ge said.

A graduate of the Naval Command Academy came to my Commander Academy to be an assistant teacher for the Strategy and Tactics course; it seems your specialty matches quite well." The Prince of Wales said with a smile.

Um…… this should be considered a case of fortunate misfortune, right?" Qin Ge said with a wry smile.

May I ask about your world's naval warfare history?" The Prince of Wales asked.

Naval warfare history? It can be described as tumultuous and grand." Qin Ge said, "I have examined this world's history; it is actually quite similar to that of my world, but the turning point occurred during the First World War.

In my world, the major naval battles that originally appeared did not occur in this world; instead, this world has the Sirens and shipgirls.

Furthermore, all the shipgirls that appear in this world, in my world they existed as steel warships in naval warfare. Whether it's Dean Prince of Wales, my shipgirls Nengdai and Banrenma, or the instructors at the academy, etc., most of you are battleships that appeared during the Second World War.

And after the Second World War, the landscape of my world underwent even more tumultuous and grand development; the emergence of missiles and jet aircraft changed the naval warfare landscape. Battleships became tears of the era, while aircraft carriers, destroyers, and submarines formally reached the pinnacle of naval warfare.

Upon entering my era, informationized warfare became the mainstream of the world. Because a few countries hold in their hands the capability to destroy any nation at any time, and continual war-readiness upgrades are the very basis of survival for a nation that exists by relying on the ocean."

What a stirring history!" The Prince of Wales, upon hearing Qin Ge's explanation, couldn't help but exclaim, "Actually, I too am gradually awakening some memories—skies full of aircraft, steel warships sailing—much like what you've described; perhaps we shipgirls share a deep connection with your world."

That's probably right." Qin Ge nodded and said; at this moment he recalled the game called Azure Lane that a friend had once recommended to him—perhaps this is the explanation for everything.

However, having come, one should settle in. You have already arrived in this world; I believe this is surely heaven's arrangement, so try to use your knowledge to change this world.

Perhaps by the end, you will find the method to return to your own world; when that time comes, I also want to see just what those modern warships you spoke of are actually like." The Prince of Wales said.

Qin Ge nodded, looking at the Prince of Wales before him full of anticipation; he suddenly felt a sense of relief in his heart. This secret had been buried deep in his heart for a very long time; now that he has spoken it out, he feels considerably lighter.

Indeed, the best method now is to have come, then settle in…
