Chapter 748: Teasing
The date with Prince Ou Gen went very smoothly, so smoothly that Qin Ge began to feel suspicious.
After all, this morning Prince Ou Gen's actions gave Qin Ge a setback, although Qin Ge would actually like to experience more of such things.
But if we consider it, then Prince Ou Gen's actions were beyond Qin Ge's expectations, so Qin Ge also had some worries about the upcoming date, worrying that Prince Ou Gen would not follow the usual routine.
As a result, whether going to a coffee shop, an amusement park, or even when having dinner at the end, Prince Ou Gen behaved very normally.
This made Qin Ge feel that the person across from him was not Prince Ou Gen, but rather Guanghui or Belfast.
"Hehe, what are you thinking, Commander? It feels like you don't even have the appetite to eat." Prince Ou Gen smiled and said to Qin Ge, "The Iron Blood's ham is quite civilized among these factions; the ham in this shop, although not expensive, is unexpectedly authentic—you should really give it a try."
Qin Ge quickly nodded, "Mm, indeed, it's delicious, and paired with Iron Blood's dark beer here, it really has the Iron Blood flavor."
"You seem a bit absent-minded; is our date really this boring?" Prince Ou Gen smiled.
Qin Ge coughed, "It's not like that; it's just that today you've made me look at you in a new light—our date going so smoothly makes me find it hard to believe."
"Hehe, Commander, what do you think our date will turn out like?" Prince Ou Gen wasn't angry; instead, he asked with a chuckle.
"From start to finish it's been full of embarrassment, with you constantly teasing me..." Qin Ge rolled his eyes.
"So today I didn't do those things to you, and yet you seem a bit unaccustomed to it?" Prince Ou Gen laughed.
"Cough, no, I just feel that you're unusually quiet and obedient today." Qin Ge shook his head.
"Why would that be?" Prince Ou Gen smiled, locking eyes with Qin Ge, "Because today is our date, Commander—no matter who you are, it's a day to be especially cherished, and I want you to keep this memory."
So even I hope that when you recall today, Commander, it won't be filled with embarrassment but with warmth.
Qin Ge froze for a moment, looking at Prince Ou Gen's affectionate appearance, and couldn't help but feel moved.
"How about that—does saying this make you feel moved, Commander?" Prince Ou Gen asked.
"Somewhat." Qin Ge rubbed his nose.
"Hehe, I'm just joking with you; I wanted to keep this demeanor from the start of our date to the end, so that you, Commander, would feel surprised—that's my goal." Prince Ou Gen chuckled and said to Qin Ge.
Upon hearing Prince Ou Gen say that, Qin Ge's face darkened: "I wish you hadn't said that just now."
Prince Ou Gen smiled: "Which sentence was the joke, Commander? You can try to guess."
Qin Ge pursed his lips: "Alright, I suddenly feel that I've brought this upon myself; if I didn't say so much, there wouldn't be so many things."
"Hehe, what should we do after the meal?" Prince Ou Gen laughed, "Didn't you, Commander, say you already planned it yesterday?"
Qin Ge glanced at the outside sky: "It gets dark early now; after we finish eating, let's buy some alcohol outside and head home. You didn't say we'd be drinking in your room tonight?"
"Sure, actually my room has plenty of alcohol, though Iron Blood beer is scarce; if you like it, Commander, you can bring some beer back." Prince Ou Gen said.
"Alright, let's go buy some beer later; tonight we'll drink beer." Qin Ge nodded.
After finishing their meal, the two headed toward the liquor store; along the way, Prince Ou Gen became lively again, making Qin Ge feel as if the Prince Ou Gen from their earlier dates had been fake.
"That said, honestly, lately I feel your mood has improved a lot; I still remember when you first joined the fleet, you were always wearing a grim face or a fake smile, seeming quite unhappy." Qin Ge said to Prince Ou Gen.
"Hehe, who do you think I changed because of? How silly—my Commander, I'm no longer the person who felt empty about everything at the start." Prince Ou Gen said with a laugh.
"So, you smiling like this looks good and is easiest for people to accept, though it would be even better if you teased me a little less." Qin Ge said with a smile.
"Hehehe, that's impossible; although being with you brings a lot of fun, this point is my favorite, and even if you're the Commander, you can't change it." Prince Ou Gen laughed.
"How about using this? Is that okay?" Qin Ge pulled a small box from his pocket and placed it before Prince Ou Gen; as sharp as Prince Ou Gen was, he knew at a glance what was inside.
"All I can say is we can discuss it." Prince Ou Gen said, taking the box and smiling at Qin Ge.
"How exactly would we discuss it?" Qin Ge asked.
"If you beat me in drinking tonight, then we can talk about anything." Prince Ou Gen provoked.
"Then it's settled."
The ring had already been given; for Qin Ge, today's date agenda was complete, but for Prince Ou Gen, today's item had only just begun.
Carrying several barrels of beer, Qin Ge and Prince Ou Gen returned together to the hotel room.
Afterward, the two posed on the sofa, began clinking cups one after another, drinking while chatting.
"You lost, Commander—choose to drink one cup or two." Prince Ou Gen pointed at the roulette on the table and smiled at Qin Ge.
"I choose that we drink together." Qin Ge pointed to the third clause of the rules.
"Mmm, although we're drinking together, I only need one cup, Commander, but you have to drink three." Prince Ou Gen laughed.
"No problem, as long as you drink." Qin Ge laughed.
"It seems the Commander is really leaving no stone unturned in trying to get me drunk, but I'm not that easy to intoxicate; following your drinking method, Commander, you might end up getting drunk first." Prince Ou Gen laughed.
"Isn't this bed of yours able to sleep two people? Since I've come tonight, I intend to drink until I'm drunk and not go home—why are you suddenly scared?" Qin Ge laughed.
"The Commander saying that makes my drinking capacity even stronger, hehehe~" Prince Ou Gen raised his cup and clinked it with Qin Ge's, "Commander, you can drink slowly, don't rush—the night has just begun."
Qin Ge rolled his eyes; although his alcohol tolerance doesn't rank in the Gangqu, Prince Ou Gen's is far worse than his—if Qin Ge puts forth the drinking style of a desperate fighter, the one who passes out first will surely be Prince Ou Gen.
By then I'll definitely make you understand what 'you can't touch a tiger's butt' means.
