Chapter 2015: Lighting the Strange Dream in the Heart (Part 45)

~10 min read 1,909 words

"Ah, this..."

Stark revealed a somewhat awkward expression and then explained: "I haven't seen this movie, but Pepper told me the plot. But in general, it doesn't quite fit the mainstream cultural propaganda now."

Schiller only vaguely remembered the plot of "Avatar". Anyway, humans were fighting with aliens again. In all sci-fi novels and sci-fi movies, humans were always fighting with aliens.

Stark spread his hands and said: "But now we are not going to fight with aliens, we are even going to cooperate and communicate friendly with aliens."

Stark turned his head to look at Loki again and said: "We are in a honeymoon period with Asgard now, and a movie about fighting aliens is a bit not united enough."

Loki narrowed his eyes and said: "That's not all, right?"

Stark sighed again and said: "There are many humans, and there are always a few who can't think straight. I don't know who poked out the process of our mining molten steel."

"Of course, because the distance is too far, they haven't seen it with their own eyes, there is no evidence, it's just hearsay, and not many people believe it."

"But the content of the Avatar movie is that humans go to Pandora to mine, and then waged a war with the local residents. This just happens to fit some rumors, making people think that the Avatar director team is actually satirizing."

"And coincidentally, the Disney Avatar park started construction, and a group of opponents went to the park construction site to demonstrate, saying that we are exploiting aliens is wrong, Disney shouldn't spread such values, and there are also those who say Disney's misinterpretation of Avatar is to whitewash the official."

"And at that time, Disney didn't know what the situation in the Andromeda galaxy was. They were worried that this matter would be confirmed, which would affect their reputation, so the Avatar park was temporarily suspended, and it hasn't been built yet."

Schiller covered his forehead and sighed: "This is the fool educated by our respectable happy education."

Stark was indeed a bit embarrassed, because he was the only orthodox American here. Although America had many strange people, this kind of cosmic Virgin Mary still made people a bit unable to hold on.

Loki shrugged and said: "That's because you gave them an illusion that humans can handle it with ease in the universe, and even have the energy to help and sympathize with other species."

"Or maybe this is the inevitable consequence of the strong among humans dragging the entire society forward. Without bloodshed, there is no determination. Flowers raised in a greenhouse are not only pretentious but also exceptionally talkative."

Stark sighed and said: "We are facing too many problems now. I was discussing the issue of American national health with Steve two days ago, and education also has too much room for improvement."

"According to your theory, I shouldn't worry about these things, shouldn't continue to drag society forward, but if I don't worry, who else can I count on?"

"Let's not talk about this first, problems will always be solved." Schiller changed the subject and said: "I think the statue might be in the Avatar park, what do you think?"

Loki touched his chin and said: "The operating rules of this amusement park are always confusing, but compared to running around in various nature reserves, I really want to see the extraterrestrial landscape built by you humans." 【2015

The group agreed to visit the Avatar area early tomorrow morning, but they still had to coordinate with Disney staff tonight; after all, an unopened area doesn't normally receive tourists.

Nick and the others went to visit the Animal Kingdom today and didn't think about the Avatar area at all; hearing that Schiller was going, they also planned to go together.

So the next morning, the group arrived with rare punctuality and headed together to visit the yet-to-be-opened Avatar area.

The vehicle only approached the area and hadn't fully entered yet, just seeing the shadows on the skyline from afar, when Loki expressed his opinion.

"You imagine the environment of planets in the universe too optimistically. Perhaps you think that even if there are 99% desolate planets, life must have been conceived on such a vibrant planet."

"But in fact, that is not the case. The truth is that life overcame the environment of 99% of desolate planets and developed all the way into today's flourishing interstellar society."

"The environment of the home planets of the vast majority of these civilizations is not a lush forest; the environment of Mars is a paradise, and Mercury and Pluto are not impossible to grow on."

The bus stopped at the entrance of the area, and the group walked in. The first thing that caught their eyes were large patches of green leaves. The structure and color of the plants were closer to a tropical style, but what was different was that thick vines were entwined among the rocks, adding some strange and mysterious elements.

The shapes of the rocks were varied, and it seemed that in order to restore the scenes on Pandora, many rocks were crafted into the shape of floating islands, surrounded by dense plants and vines, suspended in mid-air, with flowing water rustling down from above, and light spots of water mist flickering in the air.

Orange, blue, and purple, plant colors not commonly seen on Earth, were frequently used in the bushes, decorated into twisted and spiral fruits, bringing a refreshing color experience.

The first attraction in the Avatar area was a boat ride, visiting inside a dark and mysterious cave. This project had been completely finished, so everyone could play.

The second attraction, Avatar Flight, was not fully completed. They could go in to visit the construction site, but after confirming there were no statues inside, the group didn't want to ruin the atmosphere brought by the near-perfect scene setup, so they didn't go in.

After walking around this area, they didn't find any useful clues. According to the past, the clues for the statues shouldn't be difficult. If they still hadn't found them, perhaps they had looked in the wrong direction.

So the group had to leave the Avatar area and head to the real Animal Kingdom.

The Animal Kingdom is composed of Discovery Island, Asia, Africa, and the Americas. Inside, there are animals from various continents, attractions, tours, and explanations, feeling more like visiting a zoo.

Therefore, although this area was large, the time spent visiting was the shortest. Almost every attraction had no lines, and the group played through all the attractions smoothly in one morning.

As a result, they still didn't find any shadow of a statue. By lunchtime, they gathered in an African thatched-style restaurant, studying where the last statue could be.

"Could it be that one of the areas hid two statues?" Nick raised his own doubt and said, "One per area is actually a facade to confuse us, or is this actually a special kind of cold humor?"

"I don't think so. Haven't you noticed yet? Everything that happens here must conform to a heart of innocence. This kind of prank-like arrangement shouldn't appear." Schiller shook his head and said.

"There must be some clue we overlooked," Bruce proposed, "and it's hidden in a place we thought we wouldn't overlook."

Suddenly Schiller was stunned, then quickly took out a few things from his coat pocket. He opened his palm to show everyone, and lying in his palm were several shiny little badges.

"My god!" Steve exclaimed and said, "They gave them to us as soon as we entered the park!"

After saying that, he also took out his own badges, which were twice as many as Schiller's, because of Bucky's mechanical arm incident earlier, the staff had given them extra badges.

"Damn, I didn't even pay attention to collecting them." Clark let out a sigh, took out his only three badges, and then turned his head to find that Diana actually had one fewer than him.

Everyone took out the badges they had obtained and pooled them together. Everyone hadn't obtained many, and there were many duplicates. After a simple classification, they found there were four themes in total, matching the four areas perfectly.

Among them, the Magic Kingdom badges were the most complete because the extra badges Steve received were from the Magic Kingdom. After counting them, the group found there were sixteen in total, all printed with classic character images from the Magic Kingdom.

According to the rules they had previously inferred, there should be sixteen badges for each area, and the area with the most among the other three was Hollywood Studios, which could only gather ten.

This afternoon, the group finally experienced the feeling of finding Riddler trophies.

It just so happened that Disney was particularly particular about immersive experiences. It wasn't that if you asked the staff for a badge, they would give it to you; you had to go help them do some tasks, either running errands, buying things, or going to designated locations to take photos.

The group split up and returned to the previous three areas, playing a live-action classic RPG game for an afternoon, until the sky was completely dark and the three areas were about to close, when they finally gathered the badges they wanted.

The group compared the badges together and found that there were indeed sixteen for each area. And just as they brought all the badges together, the backs of the badges emitted a faint light simultaneously, and the cartoon characters on them actually began to move, pointing in one direction at the same time.

The group followed the direction the badges pointed and walked all the way, then dug out a statue of Walt Disney at the feet of a giraffe in the very center of the Kilimanjaro Safaris attraction in the Africa area of the Animal Kingdom.

The moment the light of this statue lit up, a shiny portal appeared in the middle of the grassland. Fortunately, there was nothing here but giraffes, so Nick quickly called the staff to seal off the area.

Then they began to discuss who should go in. It wasn't that they suspected danger behind this door, but mainly that the matter of soliciting investment required some professional skills.

It was finally decided that the "Four-Fold Depraved" would go in. They originally wanted to bring Captain America along to build rapport, but his prominent moral high ground was not conducive to negotiations; this was a businessman's occasion.

Schiller was the first to pass through the colorful portal, as he had long anticipated the scenery on this side of the portal.

Sure enough, the moment he stepped in with one foot, before he could even see the scenery clearly, he heard a familiar voice.

"Miska! Muska! Mickey! Mouse!"

With a swish, a red semi-circle flipped up from the ground, followed by a yellow foot stretching out, and a black sphere growing on the head.

Two small spheres grew on both sides of the black sphere, forming that most classic image, followed immediately by a cheerful piece of music.

"M~I~C~K~E~Y, M~O~U~S~E~, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse~ Open~ Come on in~ It's so much fun~"

As the door of the red house slowly opened, the person appearing in the room wearing a neat suit was not Mickey Mouse, but Walt Disney, who was smiling and looking at them.
