Chapter 2075: Superman's Cat Getan Adventure (Part 3)
"What is going on!!!!!" Clark shouted at Killer Croc while running, turning his head.
"Ask who I am first!! You impolite outsider!!!"
"Fine!! Then who are you?!!!"
"I am Killer Croc!"
"Are you a crocodile?!!"
"I am a fucking killer!!!"
Killer Croc grabbed Clark's arm with quick eyes and hands, pulled him into a fork in the road nearby, and the two watched the huge crocodile whirlwind blow past from the side.
"What is going on?" Clark asked.
Killer Croc squatted down on the spot and rubbed his broken nasal bone, if he had such a thing as a nasal bone.
"This is a shark!"
"What shark? Isn't this a crocodile?"
"You know this is a crocodile and you still ask me?!!"
Clark rubbed his temples and said, "I know this is a crocodile, and you are also a crocodile. What I want to ask is, why would crocodiles rush out from Cat Getan's sewers?"
"Why can't crocodiles rush out from Cat Getan's sewers? I declared sovereignty over Cat Getan's sewers five years ago. That is my legal residence. The Wayne Group hasn't said anything yet, who do you think you are?"
Clark held his breath in his throat.
"No, I want to ask, I mean, it's just... theoretically speaking, the natural habitat of sharks shouldn't be sewers, right?"
"We are crocodiles, you idiot!"
Clark felt his brain was a mess.
"Sorry, I said it wrong, it's crocodiles, but whether it's sharks or crocodiles, their natural habitat shouldn't be the sewers of any city, right?"
"That's because other crocodiles don't have legs as long as mine. They can't choose their natural habitat, but I can."
Killer Croc sighed and said, "Originally, there was only one crocodile in the sewers of the whole city, but that group of little bastards who couldn't beat me chose to adopt the fucking natural management method, stuffing thousands of male crocodiles into the sewers to grab my territory!"
"They knew that the pollutants in Cat Getan's sewers could make any creature in this world go crazy, and this group of ugly men who only grew in size and were bitches found that they couldn't beat me one-on-one, so they adopted collective tactics. It's simply cowardly!"
"Wait." Clark asked extremely surprised, "So are you a crocodile or a human? Why do you want to grab territory with crocodiles?"
"Because obviously I fucking can't grab it from humans!"
Just as Clark was about to ask further, he heard a bang from the street just now, followed by a rumbling sound of the earth shaking.
And then Clark watched a hippopotamus bigger than a roof come rushing over like a mountain and sea, with the momentum of thunder.
"Gothamites won't give up, right?" Killer Croc sighed and said, "They also used the natural management method to return the color. I don't know which cultural person proposed that hippos are the natural enemies of crocodiles, so we have this."
"God! It's rushing toward the downtown area!"
Killer Croc stood beside him, hands on his hips, and said, "Tank charge!"
"You just watch?" Clark widened his eyes. He had already flown up and said, "Such a big animal rushing into the downtown area will cause many casualties!"
"It doesn't matter, someone will teach it a lesson."
Clark didn't have time to argue with Killer Croc. He rushed toward the hippo just now, but while flying, he found a huge shadow covering him from above.
Clark looked up and read a message in those blood-red eyes—I just finished my fries at the pier.
That was a seagull with a wingspan that could be called covering the sky and the sun. Superman looked a bit petite compared to it.
I saw this seagull dive down and bite a piece of meat off the hippo's back. Clark braked sharply in the air, instinctively starting to think, which one is more harmful to humans: hippos, tanks, or heavy transport planes?
Need I ask! Clark almost couldn't stand himself. He must stop these two now!
Just as Clark was about to rush over and punch the seagull, with a "whoosh," a figure jumped high into the sky, and a huge hammer hit the seagull's head.
The seagull lost its balance and fell downward, smashing directly onto the hippo. The giant hippo was smashed into a stagger, and a tree root thicker than the hippo's waist wrapped around this behemoth, directly pulling it into two halves.
And then Clark flew in mid-air, watching the windows on both sides of the street open one after another, with one head after another poking out.
After a while, the Gothamites living on this street took axes, hooks, and forks in one hand, and pots, bowls, and ladles in the other, cutting vegetables, washing vegetables, starting the pot, and cooking oil in one go.
By the time the fragrance drifted to Clark's nose, he began to hesitate whether to go down.
Simply put, the Gothamites sitting below eating are all ordinary citizens who are not committing crimes for the time being, and Gothamites have never liked Metropolis people very much. Flying down like this looks a bit like smashing the field.
Metropolis people are always criticized for being meddlesome. Clark didn't want to add to this reputation, but... Clark hesitated in his heart, is food safety really not a problem?
Seagulls and hippos can grow so big, surely not because their genes are strange, so wouldn't the toxic substances that promote their huge size accumulate in the food chain?
And then Clark suddenly thought, the toxic substances in the giant seagull and hippo entering the bodies of Gothamites, who beats whom is not necessarily certain.
In the end, Clark overcame his desire to be meddlesome. He thought he should focus on the goal. He had to shoot at least one piece of material today.
He is a documentary channel, not a fantasy channel. No hippos, no seagulls, no crocodile whirlwinds!
Clark found a place where no one was and landed, walking forward like an ordinary citizen, intending to continue to pass through the wall of Arkham City from the previous intersection and go deep into the real slums.
Just as he was about to enter the wall, Clark saw a group of children carrying large and small bags selling orange juice again.
He grabbed one of them by the collar, watched him step in place for a long time, and then pressed his head and asked, "What are you selling?"
"Juice, sir, want some?"
"No, I want to ask, do you know that this juice contains a large amount of drugs?"
"Not accurate, sir."
"Are you saying there are no drugs in here?"
"I'm saying the word 'large amount' is not very accurate." The child shook his head, took out a bag of juice, and handed it to Clark, saying, "Around here, no one over 18 drinks this stuff. They all call it Coward's Joy."
Clark widened his eyes and looked at the child. He choked down a mouthful yesterday, and he could clearly feel the fierce and swift momentum with which this drug rushed to his brain.
Although it was punched back by his brain, this stuff passed the Kryptonian blood defense. One second to the head, and you tell me this is Coward's Joy?
"You're an outsider, right?" The child showed an expression of sudden realization, and then said, "Then go find the nearest pharmacy, let them open a child's dose for you, don't mention any drugs, just say you want headache medicine."
"Is this a code for illegal prescriptions?"
"Of course not, it's just ordinary children's headache medicine, mostly used for pediatric convulsions and projectile vomiting."
The little boy began to explain to Clark, saying, "You're from Metropolis, right? You guys don't understand. People around here have strong drug resistance. Most of the pain medication used for children is enough to drug an adult."
"Ah?"
The child shrugged and said, "I don't know why either, maybe this is Cat Getan."
After speaking, he bounced away. Clark looked down at the orange juice he stuffed to him, somewhat disbelieving, unscrewed it, and smelled it.
He squatted on the ground and looked left and right, thinking that there should be no means of chemical testing here, and his X-ray vision obviously wasn't responsible for displaying theoretical data. The only ones who could do this were his blood and brain.
So, Clark gritted his teeth and drank another small mouthful, followed by only one thought—this stuff is really strong.
The series of data given by the body's reaction made Clark understand that if Gothamites could still stand after drinking this stuff, then their brains probably didn't just give these hallucinogenic components a punch, but at least fought a set of Wing Chun.
Could Gothamites' brains be more martial than the Super Brain?
Clark stood up, pursed his lips, wrinkled the muscles around his nose, put his hands on his hips, and looked left and right. That group of children had long since run away.
Just as he put on his glasses and turned his head, he saw a figure in a trench coat squatting next to the collapsed wall.
"Did I fucking take too much? Why do I see a group of crocodiles flying in the sky?"
Clark saw a blond man clutching his forehead in pain and squatting on the ground muttering. He just wanted to walk over and ask if he needed help, but this man stood up with a "swoosh" and made a series of sketches in the air in front of him.
"Spirit of Thunder! I command you! Eliminate this group of evil crocodiles for me and snatch my hat back!"
Could he have drunk the orange juice of that group of children just now? Clark thought helplessly.
As a result, there was a "crack," and a dazzling thunderbolt struck from mid-air. Clark turned his head and saw the crocodile whirlwind raging in the next street being split into a burst of black smoke.
"Hehehe..." The man giggled.
Clark was just about to step forward to ask, when a tall figure rushed out from behind the wall, pulled the blond man up from the ground, gave him a thumbs up, and said, "Well done! We have recaptured the territory of the sewers! Now I am the strongest and most handsome male in this city again!"
The blond man turned his head with a confused look, only to find that he saw a strong Killer Croc.
Clark thought he would be terrified and wanted to walk up to block between the two of them. Unexpectedly, the blond man lit a cigarette, blew a smoke ring at Killer Croc's face, stretched out his arm to wrap around his shoulder, and said, "That's right, buddy, you are really handsome. By the way, are there any female crocodiles here?"
"Stop talking nonsense, brother, you must have taken too much. Where would there be female crocodiles in the city sewers?"
"That's just right." The blond man also gave Killer Croc a thumbs up, wrapped his arm around his shoulder, walked back, and said, "I don't want to grab territory with anyone else either. Let's go, let me see how handsome you are."
"Hey, you mean..."
"Seriously, the last time I saw such strong biceps was on a shark. And your nose, it's beautiful."
"Thank you, you praised me until I'm embarrassed, but... shark? Are you serious?"
"You don't know how hot that guy is. Next time I'll introduce you, or the three of us together..."
Clark felt he had taken too much. ===== CHAPTER 2076 =====
