Chapter 3111: Romantic

~10 min read 1,871 words

The gameplay of the new cards was about the same as the original, still a combination of character cards, action cards, and events. They could attack each other, but they also needed to complete events. However, many details were perfected on this basis.

The previous deck basically only added things that appeared in the public eye, such as Loki's Scepter of Mind, which Loki would carry when attending formal occasions, and Thor's Hammer was about the same.

Stark's most famous thing was mechs, and the thing Captain America appeared most frequently with was his shield. The previous deck basically contained this kind of equipment.

Because the Iron Magic God had appeared and left some video materials, these also appeared in the original cards of Superhero Kill.

But some overly confidential information was missing, such as Wanda's real strength, Jarvis's background, Helen's true identity, and Shiler's Tower of Thought.

These were all reflected in the new cards. Wanda had completely cut off from the Great Demon Shadow and was now the master of Scarlet Power. Jarvis, this very low-key robot, finally had skills that matched his strength.

Some powerful equipment that didn't appear much in the public eye also appeared, such as Infinity Stones, Cosmic Cube, Odin's Spear, and Raven, etc.

The biggest change this time was the addition of many new characters. Some people who didn't appear much in front of the public appeared. Anyway, it was an internal card game, so there was no fear of leaking secrets. S. H. I. E. L. D. agents were also basically added.

But the biggest change was of course Shiler.

A faction tag was added to the new version of the cards, called "Shiler."

Everyone present basically knew that there was more than one Shiler in the Tower of Thought: Greed, Pride, Moonlight, Sloth, Manipulation, Art, Hunting...

Of course, in the eyes of the Marvel crowd, it could basically be summarized as: Greed, Hydra No. 1, Hydra No. 2, Hydra No. 3, Madman No. 1, Madman No. 2, Murderer No. 1...

Shiler didn't expect that he would be greatly strengthened in this update, but it might be because Wanda didn't know much about his other personality traits, so many skills were written inaccurately.

Because the two of them got up relatively early, Shiler directly let Wanda change his skills, and then created an ultimate equipment, Tower of Thought. It could be summoned after all Shilers on the field were collected, and this equipment only had one skill, which was to summon the event "Infinite Great Event."

And there were also changes in the game rules. Because everyone actually wanted to play themselves, and some people had such black hands that they might not be able to play what they wanted to play even if they played all day, so they simply changed it to building their own decks.

Then Shiler of course wanted to take himself. He felt that his deck was very strong. If there wasn't a normal state that held him back, he would definitely kill crazy directly.

For example, Manipulation's skill is: After entering the field and every two rounds, perform a "Speech Resistance" check on the whole field by rolling dice. All those who fail the resistance check gain the "Speech Influence" state. Every time they act, there is a 50% chance to reverse all damage states to the self into buffs. Characters affected by speech 3 times will become "Marionettes," card-locked, and Manipulation gains an attack bonus equal to their attack value.

And Hunting's skill is: All card-locked characters default to the "Back-facing" state. Once a back-facing character is detected on the field, ignore the turn and immediately launch an attack on them. After the attack is successful, if the opponent dies, mental stability increases by 1; if not dead, the card-locked state is immediately lifted, turned to "Front-facing," immune to all damage from this attack, and this damage is transferred to Hunting itself. For every point of damage Hunting takes, mental stability decreases by 1.

After mental stability drops to 0 or below, "Hallucination Vision" is activated, applying "Hunting Mark" to all prey previously attacked and not dead. The mark countdown is two rounds. When the countdown returns to zero, the character dies directly, and the remaining health is used as attack power to attack the hero belonging to the character once.

With these two cards linked, Shiler felt that there was nothing he couldn't kill. One card-locks, and the other kills directly after two rounds. Just ask who can hold it?

Of course, his and Pride's skills weren't this strong, mainly playing an auxiliary role, but the connection was very tight, being the most cooperative among all faction decks.

Pride's skill is: Carry an umbrella (5/25). At the start of the turn, gain a random paper (Yin Wensi's paper, Barry's paper, Cobblepot's paper, Harley's paper, Bruce's paper), gaining the paper's effect buff.

Yin Wensi's paper: Blooming with the brilliance of a top student, increasing Pride's health by 50%.

Barry's paper: A novel and excellent work, increasing Pride's attack power by 50%.

Cobblepot's paper: Seriously written but slightly mediocre, increasing Pride's attack power and health by 25% each.

Harley's paper: Mental state is worrying, causing Pride to enter a chaotic state, while attack power and health increase by 50% each, and the umbrella gains the "Arkham Asylum Medical Equipment" state buff, causing all those attacked to gain the "Armor Break" state.

Bruce's paper: An indescribable object, causing Pride to enter a manic state, attack power and health increase by 100% each, and the umbrella gains the "Gotham Dark Tide" state buff, causing all those attacked to be card-locked.

That's right, Pride also had a card-locking skill, which could be said to perfectly link Manipulation and Hunting.

And Greed was also very satisfied with his skills. He was really tired of the status quo of earning little and spending much.

Greed: At the start of the turn, designate five characters to be involved in the "Greed's Great Plan." After the plan starts, all damage taken by all characters joining the plan *10 is accumulated as points. After three rounds, if all characters in the plan are alive, point settlement is performed, all points belong to Greed, and all characters gain one of "Greed's Gifts." If any one of the characters dies, Greed is card-locked.

Greed's Gifts: Greed's Money (50% of Greed's money), Greed's Power (50% of Greed's attack power and health), Greed's Possessiveness (this card belongs to Greed), Greed Itself (gives Greed 20% points).

Once the gift "Greed's Money" is obtained, "Greed's Endless Pursuit" is immediately triggered. Every time a character acts, Greed can act on them once. After being attacked to death, they don't die but turn into card-locked.

It can be seen that this card Greed isn't a pure damage card, which is equivalent to a gambling agreement.

The heavier the damage taken by all cards in the plan, the more points Greed gets. But if one unfortunately dies, then Greed not only gets no points but is also directly card-locked.

That is to say, if you use this card, Shiler has to ensure that the heavier the damage taken by everyone without dying, the better. And even if they survive, there is a one-fourth possibility of being pursued when drawing gifts.

But to be honest, Shiler actually didn't like this skill. If you say it can take away a hero, that's fine, but that's 50% of the points! Directly deducting half the money, how is this different from taking his life!

However, everyone could see that the key to this deck was card-locking, because once card-locked, it would trigger Hunting's pursuit. The key was that it didn't matter if you were killed by Hunting. Once you were marked and then killed, the attack power would directly hit your own hero. Have you ever seen this arrow technique that hits the target from a hundred paces?

Of course, there would definitely be people who felt it was overpowered, but in fact, other cards were more overpowered than the next. After all, it was Superhero Kill, and there were all kinds of outrageous cards.

Just like Stark, he could only spend points to buy mechs in the original game, but after the update, he directly brought a Stark Group headquarters, generating points equal to 5 times his attack power every turn.

Although mechs still needed to be bought with money, they could be fused after being bought. For example, Mark 16 and Mark 17 could be fused into Mark 33. That is to say, there was no set of waste mechs, and they could all be synthesized into the mechs he wanted according to numbers.

And this guy also had an upgrade state, which wasn't as hard to achieve as before. If you had three mechs with serial numbers greater than 30 in your hand and created a magic core at the same time, you could directly upgrade.

The magic core needed to be synthesized using the Stark Group headquarters plus Kamar-Taj, and Kamar-Taj was synthesized using five mages.

Shiler felt that Strange should have a lot of opinions about this deck.

But Strange actually wasn't weak either, mainly because he could summon the Ancient One now. The Ancient One didn't have any skills, but she had 9999 health, was immune to all negative states, and gained 5 attack power for every injury taken. Who can hold this?

And now the demon gods were no longer summoned objects but became a set of decks. Shiler suspected that Wanda wanted to call Chthon over to play cards, but he had no evidence.

The demon god deck was also an old face, Dormammu who could devour and become stronger, Mephisto who increased his strength by harvesting the souls of the dead, Cyttorak who could expand the Crimson Realm, Chthon the Great Demon Shadow who had special attacks on Eternity, etc.

And with Wanda, the numbers on the cards could be changed directly. For example, if someone's attributes increased, she would just snap her fingers, and the card face would be changed. This way, there was no need to struggle to remember, and it only affected this round. After the game ended, it could be restored to its original state.

At the same time, the field was also expanded. Besides New York, there were Asgard, Andromeda Galaxy, etc.

And the dice were no longer ordinary dice. Wanda didn't know where she got two magic-infused dice, so now probabilities could also be designated. For example, the luck skill could be applied to the dice to shake out the points you wanted.

When Shiler helped Wanda organize the cards, everyone had just woken up. After seeing the deck, they were all very interested, so everyone hurriedly ate and set up the card game in the backyard of the Stone House.

This time it was much more professional. Shiler directly moved out a largest round table, which could seat 12 people, but there weren't that many this time because some people had things to do. However, Stark, Steve, Nick, etc., all participated.

Shiler rubbed his hands. Now that he had the whole deck in his hand, it was time to show his real skills! ===== CHAPTER 3112 =====
