Chapter 332: S: The Radiant Event (Part 7)

Strange walked on the bridge in front of the Asgardian palace gate. The afterglow of the setting sun made the Asgardian architecture under his feet appear even more brilliant. He walked past the tall guards at the end of the bridge, walked up one flight of stairs after another, and saw the beautiful fountain and flowers in the square in front of the gate.

Immediately after, he followed the guiding goddess into the wide hall inside the palace. The dozens of pillars there were like towering trees, supporting the huge dome carved with complex patterns.

Strange followed the guiding goddess into the elevator. The lifting platform rose slowly amidst a roar. Looking down from here, one could see the children laughing and playing in the square of Asgard on the other side.

Soon, the elevator stopped, and the gate in front slowly opened. After walking in, two tall alien plants guarded the side of the gate. The Asgardian goddess in white turned around and said to Strange: "Cross this corridor bridge and turn right. That tower is where His Highness is. You cannot enter without permission."

Strange nodded and said: "Thank you for leading the way. Also, may I ask, is Loki okay now?"

The goddess in the white robe shook her head and turned back into the elevator. Strange sighed. He could already imagine Loki's miserable state.

He walked straight ahead as the goddess said. This was a corridor bridge located directly behind the gate of the palace. Inside the wall on the left hand was the corridor of the palace, behind him was the elevator, and on the right hand were railings and pillars. And walking straight ahead and turning right, one could see the tower that the goddess mentioned, which was independent of the palace.

Strange walked over. The gate of the tower was connected to this corridor bridge, and there were two metal door knockers on it. Strange picked up one and knocked on the door. Loki's voice came from inside: "Please come in."

Strange was stunned for a moment and asked: "How do I come in?"

"Push the door, what else?"

Strange took two steps back and sized up the gate. Only then did he discover that there were no protective magic circles on it, and even with the knocking action he just made, the door had opened a small crack.

"The door isn't locked?" Strange widened his eyes in surprise. He walked up, pulled the door knocker, and the door opened directly.

And the scene inside was completely different from the dark prison Strange had imagined. This was a circular tower. The corridor circled the walls, and in the center was a garden with Viking style.

Many of the plants inside were very similar to the plants on Earth, a bit like an ancient version of Earth plants. There were also many slightly broken statues in the center. Loki was standing under one of the statues reading a book. Strange walked over quickly and asked him: "Are you okay?"

Before Loki could speak, Strange said: "Is your brain okay? You knew Odin would be so angry he'd want to kill you, yet you dared to return to Asgard. Isn't this throwing yourself into the net?"

"Aren't I fine right now?" Loki raised his eyes, his voice a bit cold. Strange looked up and surveyed the place, saying: "What is this place? Are the prisons in your Asgard this high-end?" ===== CHAPTER 333 =====
