Chapter 1575: Is a Blood Relationship Really That Important? 2
After the people at the company sent the Chairman to the hospital, the first thing they did was notify her family!
Her husband and son rushed to the hospital as fast as they could, but Jian Yixin had not yet woken up at that time.
Moli was incredibly anxious; he grabbed the doctor and wouldn't let go, asking repeatedly, "Is my mother okay? Is she okay? What illness caused her to faint? Why did she faint?"
Doctors are always very rigorous and cannot speak in guesses; until the test results come out, everything is possible.
The doctor said, "It's hard to say right now. We just performed an examination on the Chairman, and we have to wait for the results to come out before we can draw a conclusion."
"The test results haven't come out yet?"
Moli was incredibly anxious.
The doctor said, "Not yet, but they will be out very soon."
"I'll go get them." Moli couldn't wait even for a moment.
"You don't need to retrieve the tests; someone will bring them over once the results are out."
But Moli couldn't wait; he was very impatient, so he went to get them himself.
Sheng Zerong didn't think much of it at first, keeping watch by his wife's hospital bed, but by the time he realized something was wrong, it was already too late!
……
At the entrance of the testing room, Moli looked at the test report in his hand and blinked hard, but when he looked again, the result was still the same.
His mother's blood type was B.
He clearly remembered his mother's blood type being O; it was impossible for him to have remembered it wrong.
There was no need to go back; he had already asked the technician many times, and the technician had told him very firmly, "The Chairman is indeed blood type B, and has always been blood type B. We have the Chairman's records in our blood bank; there is absolutely no mistake."
In such a large hospital, if a blood type test could be wrong, it would be a joke.
The hospital wouldn't need to stay open; they might as well close down for good!
To prove their authority, the technician even let Moli look at many previous records; it was correct, his mother had always been blood type B.
His father was also blood type B; he knew that.
And he was type O!
It is impossible for parents who are both blood type B to produce a child with type O blood. Since his mother's blood type was also B, then where did he come from?
Moli's mind was in chaos; he didn't have a single clue.
His mother had always said he was blood type O, but now that his blood type had suddenly changed, could it be that he really wasn't his parents' biological child?
How could that be? His parents loved him so much.
But he remembered that when he was a child, there had been rumors.
Once, he had even taken some of his mother's hair to get a paternity test done, but he had been abducted by bad people, so it didn't happen, and from then on, he had dismissed the idea of a paternity test.
From that point on, he firmly believed that he was Jian Yixin's biological son, because his mother was so good to him; how could she be this good if she weren't his real mother?
But science proved that she really wasn't his biological mother!
The thought of doing a paternity test rose in him again, and once this thought took root in his heart, it tormented him incessantly; he couldn't forget it at all.
Just then, his phone rang; it was his father calling to ask where he was.
He feigned composure and said, "I'm waiting for the results; they haven't come out yet."
"Come back; don't let your mother wake up and not see you. They will send the results over when they are ready."
"Okay."
Moli returned to the testing room. The young girl who had given him the results earlier was sobbing, looking very aggrieved.
An older technician was scolding her harshly; when Moli returned, the scolding wasn't over yet.
But upon seeing Moli, the older one immediately shut up, squeezed out a smile, and said to Moli, "Eldest Young Master, please let me explain. The person who gave you the results earlier is my apprentice. She is new and not familiar with everything yet. The result she gave you..."
Moli asked, "Besides the blood type, were other test items also wrong?"
The technician was speechless and remained silent.
"I'm asking you a question, answer me!"
"The other test results have no issues."
All the results were fine; only the blood type had a problem. Whose problem it was, was self-evident.
Moli told the technician not to tell anyone about today's events, otherwise he would sue her and make it so she couldn't even find a job in the future.
"Don't worry, I won't tell anyone!"
The technician now wanted no one to know about this even more than Moli did.
Moli returned to the Hospital Ward empty-handed. The tension on his father's face was obvious: "Where are the test results?"
"The results haven't come out yet. They will send them over as soon as they are ready. I came back as soon as I got your call."
He sat at the head of his mother's bed, holding her hand. His mother's complexion was very pale, the fine lines at the corners of her eyes were obvious, and strands of white hair were visible.
His mother was about the same age as his aunt, yet she looked like she belonged to a different generation!
Even though his aunt's family had so many children and his own family only had him, his mother had all the high-end skincare products, yet she looked so obviously aged. His heart felt sour and heavy.
For so many years, his mother had poured so much heart and soul into him. Just thinking that such a good mother might not be his biological mother made his heart bleed; he was incredibly sad.
Sheng Zerong saw that his son's expression wasn't quite right and was still worried about the test results, so he took the initiative to suggest going to check on them.
"Didn't you say that when the results come out, they will be sent over?"
"Yes, but I'm worried, so I'll go take a look."
His father left. Moli hesitated for a moment, then pulled a few hairs with follicles from his mother's head and carefully placed them in a sealed bag.
Soon his father returned, this time holding the test report: "Your mother's test results are out."
"The doctor has already looked at them; it's just malnutrition and lack of rest. There are no major issues, so don't worry."
"Let me see."
Sheng Zerong readily handed the test report to his son.
This is a test report that has already been altered; only one item is different, and that is the blood type!
"How could my mother be malnourished?"
"It's all because she misses you; whenever she thinks of you, she can't eat or sleep well. She thinks of you every single moment. In the first year after you left, she nearly developed anorexia, and she hasn't just fainted once."
"Why didn't you tell me these things before?"
"Your mother wouldn't let me; she was afraid of distracting you."
Moli felt even worse inside; he even thought about just not doing the paternity test, but in the end, he suppressed this thought.
Jian Yixin woke up and wanted to go home immediately; only under her son's strong insistence did she rest in the hospital for two days before being discharged.
At home, Moli took care of his mother tirelessly and meticulously.
Once Jian Yixin fell asleep, he snuck out, carrying the hair to the door of the paternity testing center, still hesitating whether to go in.
Hair follicles have a shelf life; if he didn't go in now, they wouldn't be able to test it.
In the end, he walked in, signed the papers, and paid the fee; everything followed the procedure, unexpectedly smooth, and the only thing left to do was wait.
……
A few days later.
He came to pick up the test report, and looking at the results on it, he was not surprised, but he felt very sad!
That's right, he has no blood relationship with his mother, but he has an uncle-nephew relationship with his father; what on earth is going on?
He couldn't figure it out; even after thinking until his head ached, he still couldn't figure it out.
