Chapter 1846: Going Too Far
She was only concerned with venting her own dissatisfaction, failing to notice that Lu Feifei's expression was becoming increasingly unsightly.
Perhaps these words sounded like nothing to others, and even if they didn't like them, they would argue a few points with her.
Saying things like what era it is now, and how could one still have such thoughts.
But these were precisely the things Lu Feifei cared about most.
"You go; it's dirty here. Don't let my place soil your hands, feet, and soul." Lu Feifei coldly ordered her to leave, and only then did Su Qiangying suddenly realize she had unintentionally hurt Lu Feifei.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I wasn't talking about you; I was talking about Moli. Second Brother is broad-minded and doesn't care, but I care..."
It was over; the more she tried to explain, the worse it got.
Seeing Lu Feifei's expression growing increasingly unsightly, she left Litian's home feeling dejected.
After Su Qiangying went outside, she slapped herself across the face.
What kind of mess had she made?
She swore that she had truly been unintentional; she just didn't have anyone suitable around to confide in and wanted to get it off her chest!
But what she hadn't expected was that while she felt relieved, she had hurt the Second Sister-in-law.
She knew that the Second Sister-in-law had done some absurd things before she was with the Second Brother, but she hadn't taken it to heart, and certainly wouldn't care.
Because Lu Feifei could be considered a friend or a relative, she would be tolerant, but Moli was her lover, so he had to be perfect!
Su Qiangying left, and Lu Feifei couldn't help but shed tears.
Litian discovered this and became incredibly nervous, hurriedly asking her what was wrong.
"Who upset you? Don't cry, don't cry. You just finished your postpartum recovery; you mustn't cry. Tell me who upset you, and I'll vent your anger for you. If I've done something wrong, don't keep it bottled up inside; tell me, and I'll change..."
Her usually quiet, reticent husband was now rambling incessantly, his words filled entirely with concern for her.
If her husband hadn't been like this, she would have just shed tears, but now that her husband was caring for her like this, thinking of all the kindness Litian had shown her, Lu Feifei couldn't control her emotions and sobbed aloud while holding her husband.
Litian was anxious and asked repeatedly what was going on.
"Tell me quickly, you're going to worry me to death..."
Lu Feifei explained the whole story, and Litian, who had never been one to lose his temper, became furious.
He comforted his wife: "Don't pay attention to others gossiping. How she thinks is her business; in any case, I won't think that way, and I certainly won't act that way."
"Let's live our own lives well. I am especially content just guarding you and our daughter. From now on, we won't associate with her; let's block her."
Litian took his wife's phone and blocked all of Su Qiangying's contact methods.
Originally, he had wanted to go settle the score immediately, but guests were arriving at that moment, and he couldn't ruin his daughter's full-month banquet.
After the daughter's full-month banquet.
Everyone was preparing to leave, and Litian called out to Moli: "Stay a while longer; I have something to tell you."
"Alright."
Moli also happened to want to ask Litian where he had offended him.
He hadn't given him a pleasant look all day long.
If it were because of the Second Sister-in-law's premature birth, the Second Brother had long since indicated it wasn't their fault; it shouldn't be that he was blaming him for this.
The two went to a quiet, deserted place, and Litian took out the pair of gold bracelets Su Qiangying had given and handed them to him: "This was sent by Su Qiangying. Please help me return it, and by the way, pass on a message for me: tell her not to come and harass my wife again."
Moli:...
"What's going on? Tell me, how did she offend you?" Moli's expression also turned sour.
On this point, he was much like Litian; people could treat him however they liked, but if they were dissatisfied with his wife, he had to get to the bottom of it.
If his wife had been wronged, he wouldn't let it slide!
Litian said: "I don't care if she is overbearing toward others, but she cannot criticize my wife. My wife bared her own scars for others to see for your sake, not for her to mock."
He only said a simple sentence, and Moli, being a smart man, immediately understood everything.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry." Moli apologized immediately.
"I don't need your apology; just make sure you deliver the message."
Moli left Litian's home and immediately went to find Su Qiangying; she had gone too far in this matter, from beginning to end.
"Bang, bang, bang."
The door was pounded loudly. Su Qiangying was feeling remorseful in her room; she had lived in deep self-reproach all day, unable to extricate herself.
She thought it was Litian coming to settle the score and opened the door immediately, but it was Moli standing before her.
"What are you here for?"
She finished speaking and went to close the door, but Moli took out the pair of gold bracelets and handed them over: "Second Brother asked me to give you a message: you are not allowed to harass the Second Sister-in-law again. You went too far; how could you be so reckless in front of the Second Sister-in-law? Saying everything like that?"
"I didn't mean to; I just let it slip."
Su Qiangying had been blaming herself all day, but she could scold herself; Moli coming all the way over to blame her made her unhappy.
When she was unhappy, she was prone to talking nonsense.
She said: "You don't need to come here to hold me accountable, putting on the appearance of a righteous gentleman. You are all crows of the same feather..."
Moli couldn't bear it any longer and blurted out: "Enough, I've had enough of you. Don't you want a divorce? I agree; let's go on Monday."
Moli suddenly agreed, which Su Qiangying hadn't expected, and tears almost fell.
"Fine, whoever doesn't go is a dog."
"Fine, whoever doesn't go is a dog."
Moli turned and left. Su Qiangying slammed the door shut behind him, covered her mouth with her hand, and wept silently!
The divorce was something she had proposed, and it was also something she had always wanted to do.
Su Qiangying felt this was the result of her careful deliberation, but when it was truly about to become a reality, she felt very sad.
The next day was the weekend.
"Knock, knock, knock."
Someone knocked on the door; Su Qiangying thought it was Moli changing his mind, so she happily went to open it, only to see her father standing outside.
"Why are you here?" She was very disappointed and walked back dejectedly.
Her father said, "I have no classes today, and your mother wanted you to come home for dinner, but your phone was turned off when she called, so she was worried about you and asked me to come over and check."
She grabbed her phone to look, and it was indeed turned off.
The phone had run out of battery, and she hadn't even noticed.
"Dad, I'm not going back; I'm not in the mood."
"What's wrong?"
"Moli... he agreed to divorce me... sob sob sob, how could he treat me like this?"
Su's father was also surprised: "How could he suddenly agree to it out of the blue? I told you not to be too difficult; everyone's patience is limited, and no one will spoil you forever."
"What should I do? Dad, I don't want to get a divorce..."
She had thought about it all night and finally figured it out.
If she left Moli, she would never be able to find another man who treated her as well as Moli did.
She knew her own temper; it was foul, and she was prone to offending people with her sharp tongue. From childhood to adulthood, Moli was the only person who had tolerated her unconditionally.
The problem that others couldn't make her understand no matter how they tried, she had now figured out on her own.
Although she had figured it out, she still couldn't bring herself to lose face, and she refused to be the one to lower her head first.
She said to her father, "Hide the household registration book and don't give it to me; that way, I won't be able to get a divorce."
