Chapter 1143: Li Yue's Further Plans

Back in the tent, Li Yue carefully observed the layout and furnishings inside once more.

Finding nothing suspicious, he began rummaging through boxes and cabinets.

After a flurry of searching, Li Yue finally found what he wanted.

He located several documents in a nearby cabinet.

With the documents in hand, Li Yue began to read them carefully.

Soon, Li Yue's expression grew serious.

The contents of these documents concerned the general outline of the Demon Clan's next battle plan.

I see.

After reading a few pages of the material, Li Yue suddenly understood everything.

It seems the Demon Clan is somewhat clever; using a borrowed knife to kill is quite interesting.

After finishing the file, Li Yue muttered to himself.

This file explained that the Demon Clan intended to bribe certain forces of the Allied Army to make them slaughter each other.

Just as he was about to reach the last page, he suddenly stopped.

His ears perked up as he listened toward the outside.

At that moment, a rustling sound of footsteps came from outside the tent.

Soon, the footsteps outside the tent ceased.

What's going on? Did something happen?

Hearing the footsteps outside vanish, Li Yue thought silently in his heart.

Quickly, the footsteps sounded again, and before long, the tent curtain was lifted.

A Demon soldier stepped out from inside the tent.

Seeing that no one was outside, the man in black robes immediately furrowed his brows into a knot, a look of suspicion appearing on his face.

Strange, where is my lord the General? Where has he run off to?

The Demon soldier muttered a sentence, his gaze sweeping around; finding no one, he immediately shook his head.

He turned and walked out of the tent.

At the same moment the Demon soldier exited the tent, on the other side, Li Yue silently extended both arms, carrying the corpse of the dead Demon General.

Whoosh! Li Yue leaped up onto the top of the tent entrance.

"Good thing I moved a bit faster, otherwise I would have been discovered."

Li Yue casually tossed the corpse he was carrying onto the ground, his gaze continuing to scan the documents in his hand.

This time, he found the crucial part.

This document contained detailed information on the battle between the Demon Clan and the Allied Army; what was written was very detailed and clear, and it marked the Demon Clan's troop deployment in the Demon Realm, various tactics, and so on.

Seeing this, Li Yue became even more certain of a guess.

The Demon Clan must have some grand conspiracy.

It seems I must do something! Li Yue thought silently in his heart.

At this moment, the voice of his subordinate sounded from outside the door.

"My lord, the appropriate medicine has already been dropped into the water. We can leave now."

Mm.

Li Yue nodded: Understood.

Then, he looked at the contents of the document once more before putting the document away.

Just as he prepared to leave, Li Yue glanced at the corpse lying on the ground.

After thinking for a while, a burst of magical elements suddenly appeared in his hand.

Suddenly, a ball of Xiong Xiong burning flames rose up.

Li Yue directly threw the corpse into it.

Bang!

Boom!

Instantly, the Xiong Xiong burning flames devoured the corpse in an instant.

Amidst a series of violent explosions, that corpse turned to ash.

At the same time, he did not forget to toss several bombs he had made into the fire pile.

He then exited the door and shouted to the people nearby: "Let's go!"

The group had only just left a few steps when a huge explosion roar suddenly came from behind them.

Boom-boom-boom~

Boom-boom-boom~

The tremendous sound did not cease.

At this moment, other Demon soldiers nearby also heard the sound and immediately fell into chaos.

What is that sound?

Oh my, could it be that enemies are attacking?

"The sound of that explosion seems to be where the General is located,"

"Quick, quick, go put out the fire!"

Hearing the exclamations coming from behind, a smile appeared on Li Yue's face.

Obviously, the decision he made was correct; the effect of this move of his was very obvious.

Such a huge explosion sound will certainly attract many people to come and put out the fire.

As expected, after a short while, a clamorous uproar echoed from the distance.

Waves of demon soldiers charged toward them, their figures coming into view before Li Yue and the others.

Li Yue and his companions passed right by the enemy, who barely noticed their movements.

These people are truly so slow.
