Chapter 646

The speed still did not slow down.

After about five minutes, the rate at which the price rose gradually slowed.

It crept upward at the twenty-million mark.

After all, lords who could put up twenty million energy were few and far between; it was very likely the forces behind those lords making their move.

In the end, the prices of all the Diamond-Tier Upgrade Scrolls stopped at around twenty-one million.

Twenty-one million — normally enough to buy an Shi Shi-Tier Upgrade Scroll.

However, those had been sold by Li Yue; when he prepared for the auction, he had already delisted them all.

Naturally, they had no way to buy them and could only honestly obtain them from the auction.

Twenty-one million per Diamond-Tier Upgrade Scroll — a hundred of them would be 2.1 billion!

"Sure enough, the auction is the fastest way to make money."

He had already decided: from now on, items of this High Tier would only be sold at the auction.

Normally, he would sell equipment below Diamond Tier — for most current lords, that was already enough.

After selling the Diamond-Tier Upgrade Scrolls, the next item was naturally the Shi Shi-Tier Upgrade Scrolls.

Li Yue silently listed thirty-three Shi Shi-Tier Upgrade Scrolls.

The dazzling brilliance unique to Shi Shi-Tier gleamed radiantly, and a crowd of lords were instantly stunned.

"Th-this is an Shi Shi-Tier Upgrade Scroll?"

"It's even more beautiful than a work of art — are you sure it's meant to be used?!"

"Oh my god, there are actually thirty-three of them!"

"How many Shi Shi-Tier beings would one have to slay, how many treasure chests would one have to open, to get enough Shi Shi-Tier Upgrade Fragments to exchange for this many Upgrade Scrolls!"

"Ten energy, and I get to witness the true appearance of an Shi Shi-Tier Upgrade Scroll — worth it!"

"+1 from upstairs"

"+1 from upstairs"

"..."

Li Yue still only watched silently, secretly delighted in his heart, and said nothing.

And the more astonished the crowd of lords was, the higher the price of the Shi Shi-Tier Upgrade Scrolls would absolutely be.

Once the five seconds were up, these lords didn't dawdle either.

The price shot straight up to twenty-five million, causing many lords with ideas to stop and merely watch!

This was a contest belonging to the top bigwigs, or the major powers.

It seemed they could no longer get a foothold!

In just ten seconds, however, the price flew straight to thirty million.

Every bid was raised by a million at a time, no longer adding by hundreds of thousands like before.

This suited Li Yue's wishes just fine — sell out quickly and enter closed-door cultivation quickly.

When the price climbed to forty million, it basically stopped.

They had not forgotten — there were still Legendary-Tier Upgrade Scrolls.

In the end, all the Shi Shi-Tier Upgrade Scrolls were auctioned off.

Average price forty-two million, thirty-three scrolls — 1.38 billion energy!

If they had been auctioned one by one individually, the price would definitely have been higher. 3.2

But doing so would have taken too much time — losing the greater for the smaller, not worth it.

Only these final eight Upgrade Scrolls as the grand finale — naturally, they couldn't be sold off in one wave, nor auctioned one by one.

In the end, he decided to split them into two waves to sell.

Four scrolls per round!

After deciding, he immediately listed four Legendary-Tier Upgrade Scrolls.

The brilliance unique to Legendary-Tier instantly drew everyone's gaze, staring fixedly.

As if missing one glance would cost them over a million energy.

"Legendary-Tier!"

"It's really Legendary-Tier!"

"And four of them!"

"Oh my heavens!"

"Those are four Legendary-Tier beings!"

"Lord Chenxi's territory can actually sell so many — just how terrifying must Lord Chenxi's strength be!"

"Don't even think about it — beings of the Divine Realm, how could mortals like you and I possibly guess!"
