Chapter 768

"Retreat! Pull back into the Tianmen Pass!"

She roared these words out almost as a scream.

Upon receiving the order, the Guolian Army of the two nations hurriedly retreated toward the mighty pass, the Tianmen Pass.

The Envoy of the Er Province saw this scene and muttered to himself:

"No good, they are trying to flee. We must hold them back at all costs; we cannot let them escape into the pass."

"Otherwise, with a pass of such strength, we might have to pay an even greater price to capture it!"

The nine other provincial envoys nearby nodded in agreement, showing they shared his view.

Suddenly, a voice rang out.

"Let the Legends strike!"

As soon as these words were spoken, everyone was shocked.

The Envoy of the Er Province fell into deep thought.

From the start of the battle until now, he had entertained this thought more than once.

But he was afraid, afraid that the enemy had powerful experts.

Once a powerful expert strikes, then it becomes a contest of the experts' strength.

He firmly believed that the enemy certainly did not know how many Legends his side possessed.

He wanted to use this secret weapon as the final force to break through Lord Chenxi's territory.

And the most powerful force.

However, from the start of the battle until now.

In the span of three double-hours, he had deeply experienced the formidable command of the enemy's generals.

By that time, even if there were powerful Legend experts, once this group of defenders retreated inside the Tianmen Pass, it would be very difficult to capture it.

At this moment, the other provincial envoys turned their gaze toward him, awaiting his decision.

The Envoy of the Er Province looked around, took a deep breath, and said:

"Let ten Legend experts at their limit strike!"

"The speed and action must be fast; we must keep this group of defenders outside the Tianmen Pass."

As soon as the words fell, the messenger nearby immediately galloped toward the rear.

Before the Tianmen Pass, the battle situation was extremely fierce.

So much so that the Heart of Death Lord, who had been quietly observing the battle, quietly descended to assassinate various powerful leaders.

Up to now, dozens of Shi Shi-level experts had already died beneath his dagger.

In such a chaotic battlefield, he was not at all worried about his identity being discovered.

The cavalry regiment had also been continuously harassing the pursuing forces.

Combined with the already orderly retreat of the comprehensive units, for a time, the King Xiyu Empire's army actually could not catch up with the Guolian Army of the two nations.

Because they not only had to guard against attacks from the enemy cavalry but also had to guard against arrows shot from the front.

Up to this point, the units that had died beneath the arrows were already not a small number.

Just as the two forces chased each other back and forth, the Guolian Army of the two nations was already only one li away from the Tianmen Pass.

Mike couldn't help but feel a surge of joy, raising his arm and shouting:

"Brothers, don't panic."

"It's only the last li. Once we retreat inside the Tianmen Pass, we'll make these beasts taste our true power!"

However, as soon as he finished speaking, several terrifying auras came from behind.

A voice, cold to the extreme, suddenly rang out:

"Is that so? Do you really think we would let you enter the pass safely?"

"Ridiculous!"

As the words fell, a beam of red light shot fiercely from the direction of the King Xiyu Empire's coalition forces.

"Boom—"

This beam of light happened to strike the center of an infantry and archer comprehensive unit.

The archers who had been drawing their bows for a volley just a second ago turned to ash under the bombardment of this beam of light.

The light beam vanished, and a figure appeared.

A trace of contemptuous smile still lingered on the corner of his mouth as he swept across the surviving archers nearby.

Dozens of archers perished instantly!

"A Legend expert!"

The First Princess and others who had already reached the Tianmen Pass looked with full faces of shock at the expert who was crazily slaughtering their own army.

The expectation that had still been in their hearts instantly plummeted to the bottom.

At this moment, after the Heart of Death Lord killed the Shi Shi expert before him, he immediately merged into the void and hid.

"So fast, a Legend expert at the limit has already descended?"

Just as he was marveling, nine more beams of light of various colors lit up from the rear of the King Xiyu Empire.

Seeing this, everyone in the field fell into deep despair.

They had received no orders stating that their side possessed Legend experts at the limit.

Even if they did, they could only be in the distant Lord Chenxi territory...

After the nine beams of light rose, without the slightest hesitation, they rushed to bombard the centers of the other nine comprehensive units.

Just then, a holy light suddenly rose from the Tianmen Pass.

"If you don't strike, do you really think Lord Chenxi has no one?"
