Chapter 13: The Scourged Fang Han

"Kneel properly and answer your master."

Fang Yu had just received a reward of five Essence Pills when he saw the maid beside the Second Young Lady, Fang Qingwei, kick Fang Han.

That kick spun the kneeling Fang Han around so his face was directly facing Fang Qingwei.

"So you're Fang Han?"

At this moment, Fang Qingwei's gaze looked down from above, lofty and imperious.

"This servant is Fang Han."

Fang Han lowered his head and spoke with great deference.

"My Qianli Xue has been raised well by you, which shows you put in effort, but today, you failed in your duty."

Fang Qingwei said coldly. "I don't care what reason you have. As a servant, everything must be for the master's sake. That is the rule of our Fang family, and the rule of every servant under heaven. This thousand-li horse is your life — even if you have to risk your life, you must tend to it well. Do you understand?"

"This servant understands. From now on, even if this servant has to risk his life, he will raise the Second Young Lady's horse well. While the horse lives, the man lives; when the horse dies, the man dies. Second Young Lady, please pardon this servant's offense today."

Fang Han kowtowed like a pestle pounding garlic, begging for mercy without stop.

"The future Great Demon King Fang Han — how many heads has he kowtowed before Fang Qingwei now."
