Chapter 285: I Control Creation, I Am Immortal—How Dare You Kill Me?

Fang Yu had gained many benefits in the Five Elements Realm.

The Five Elements essence he absorbed, if obtained outside, would require countless Baiyang Pills or Nascent Soul Pills.

But in the Five Elements Realm, as long as you have strength and don't die, you can absorb those Five Elements beasts and grow stronger.

By now, Fang Yu's Red Emperor Fire Emperor Qi had reached sufficient power; once the Bing Fire Divine Thunder condensed, if he wished, he could envelop dozens of li ahead in Bing Fire Divine Thunder and summon a storm of it—save for water-type beasts, which were only slightly restrained, all other four-element beasts would die.

Wood-type beasts needed no further explanation, nor did metal-type ones; the nobility of Red Emperor Fire Emperor Qi could suppress fire-type Divine Abilities of the same element, while earth-type beasts were slightly less restrained—but Red Emperor Fire Emperor Qi, beyond suppression, was also extreme heat capable of burning mountains and boiling seas.

Under the heat of Red Emperor Fire Emperor Qi, even mountain ranges were boiled into liquid, and earth-type beasts were no exception.

Of course, when dealing with earth-type beasts, using Willow God Sacred Art and Green Emperor Wood Emperor Art might yield better results.

After cultivating for some time, Fang Yu set out on his journey again.

At this point, he was growing ever farther from the peak inscribed with seven perilous characters.

After flying a thousand li, he sensed an intense earthy stench—he immediately knew it must be an earth-type monster formed from Wu Earth Essence; indeed, the ground beneath writhed, and countless Teng Serpents soared upward, biting toward Fang Yu.

These earth-type monsters were roughly equivalent to 3rd Stage of Divine Abilities in Gang Qi Realm; together, a swarm of Teng Serpents could kill even a 4th or 5th Stage of Divine Abilities cultivator if careless.

But Fang Yu, a 5th Stage of Divine Abilities cultivator, possessed over ninety times—up to a hundred times—the magic power of a Heavenly Man Realm peer of the same realm, especially since he mastered Great Five Elements Art, Willow God Sacred Art, Grass Character Sword Art, and other supreme Divine Abilities; slaying these Teng Serpents was like cutting melons and chopping vegetables.

Fang Yu absorbed all the earth-type Teng Serpents, transforming them into essence for Yellow Emperor Earth Emperor Dao.

Along the way, Fang Yu witnessed countless Five Elements beasts: besides fire crows, metal bees, water fish, and Teng Serpents, there were bizarrely shaped earth men, fire spirits, and giant floating jellyfish hovering in the air.

The strength of these monsters grew stronger the deeper one went—from initial groups of 1st Stage of Divine Abilities beasts, they eventually became groups of 4th and 5th Stage of Divine Abilities monsters.

The Five Elements Realm was an utterly terrifying place; consider this: even among Yuhua Sect's entire core disciples, there were fewer than a hundred Heavenly Man Realm experts—after all, the core disciples of Divine Ability Secret Realm totaled only 111, many of whom were still at 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th Stage of Divine Abilities—but the Five Elements Realm was so terrifying that the Five Elements beasts born from its Five Elements spiritual roots appeared in swarms, each matching the power of a Heavenly Man Realm expert.

Of course, these beasts' strength was merely comparable to Heavenly Man Realm—they could not cultivate other Divine Abilities, each species cultivating only one, becoming experts who had advanced a single Divine Ability all the way to Heavenly Man Realm.

This paled beside Yuhua Sect's Heavenly Man Realm experts.

Fang Yu slew Five Elements beasts in this wondrous place and absorbed their essence.

Days passed, and without realizing it, Fang Yu had cultivated in the Five Elements Realm for ten days; seeing a new group of jellyfish spitting Gui Water Divine Thunder ahead, he stared expressionlessly and launched the Black Emperor Water Emperor Fist directly.

The jellyfish's magic power was no trivial matter—each possessed thirty thousand Xuanhuang Steeds' strength, and together they were ferocious beyond measure—but under the pressure of Black Emperor Water Emperor, they froze instantly, then were shattered by Fang Yu's Black Emperor Water Emperor Fist into dense Gui Water essence, absorbed into him.

Fang Yu had become a heartless killer.

Indeed, anyone who slaughtered for ten days in the Five Elements Realm would grow weary and lose all emotion in killing.

Fang Yu felt that if the little red bird Zhu Que from the Perfect World appeared before him now, he might still punch it dead.

Fortunately, the little red bird Zhu Que had met the right him at the right time.

"It seems my path has been noticed by Chi Yuan Demon Sovereign."

As he flew forward, Fang Yu pondered certain matters.

He had long known that a demon, Chi Yuan Demon Sovereign, was sealed beneath the Five Elements Realm; this sovereign commanded 480 million ancient heavenly demons, all also sealed within the Five Elements Realm—but during these ten days of slaughter, he had seen not a single heavenly demon, only Five Elements beasts.

This revealed something mysterious.

After all, by probability alone, some heavenly demons should have appeared within these ten days; and if even dozens of heavenly demon kings appeared and unleashed the Heavenly Demon Self-Destruction Art upon Fang Yu, he could not cultivate in peace.

If thousands upon thousands of heavenly demon kings converged to unleash the Heavenly Demon Self-Destruction Art, he might even lose his peerless treasure artifact to the explosions.

Clearly, Chi Yuan Demon Sovereign had noticed him and wished to observe just what kind of performance he could deliver.

"Perhaps he mistakes me for a Huangquanmo Sect heir."

Fang Yu's thoughts stirred; Chi Yuan Demon Sovereign was an ancient demon sovereign who knew many things—the Great Five Elements Art, also known as the Five Emperors Demon Divine Art, had once been acquired by Huangquanmo Sect's Huang Di, and no other sect could learn it.
