Chapter 636: One Tribulation, One Fortune — The Rite of Sacrifice, the Sacred Immortal Art
One tribulation, one fortune — the Great Tribulation Fortune Art.
Within this immortal's mansion, Fang Yu obtained such a Three Thousand Great Daos.
This great dao divine ability seemed somewhat similar to the Great Calamity Art, yet at the same time different.
The Great Calamity Art is the three calamities and nine tribulations. The nine tribulations need no further explanation; the three calamities are the Black Sun Wind Calamity, the Great Sun Fire Calamity, and the Doomsday Heaven Calamity. It draws upon the qi of all manner of calamities, and through supreme wisdom and one's own Dao cultivation to subdue them, one becomes the embodiment of calamity itself.
The Great Tribulation Fortune Art, however, is a kind of comprehension, a kind of mysterious transformation. Every tribulation may be an opportunity, a kind of fortune. By comprehending the transformation between tribulation and opportunity, one keeps oneself at every moment in a state where one can obtain opportunity.
This great dao is a matter of perceiving the heart of heaven, seeing through fate, causing one's own fortune and misfortune to shift, and ultimately, in accordance with one's own will, rendering all approaching tribulations into nothingness, while one remains at every moment in a state of a beautiful future.
Clearly, the "tribulation" of the Great Tribulation Fortune Art and the "calamity" of the Great Calamity Art are not the same concept. The killing power of this Three Thousand Great Daos is markedly inferior to the Great Calamity Art, and precisely because of this, the Great Calamity Art's might ranks among the top ten of the Three Thousand Great Daos, whereas the Great Tribulation Fortune Art is not in the top ten — perhaps not even in the top thirty, or top fifty.
