Chapter 1095: Evolution (11200 11400 Supplement)

Pet Battle world.

Aaron diverted a portion of his focus to watch *Ghost*, then opened his eyes.

The sky was faintly bright; Sikong Xiaoxiao in the fish tank had already woken up, blowing bubbles: "So boring, so boring..."

Fish sleep with their eyes open, and she was not used to it at first, so she slept very late and woke up very early.

Aaron glanced at the data panel:

【Heart Power: Stage Four】

【Contracted Pet Beast: Crimson Carp (Intermediate Soldier)】

Aaron encouraged her.

Combined with Water Blade, Aaron felt that fighting a Primary General grade was not much of a problem.

"Haha... how do you think I'm swimming?"

Sikong Xiaoxiao was a bit unsure, but there were so many guides online that she might not be able to remember them all.

'This girl is so stupid, can she even learn if I teach her a Meditation Method?'

"Here it comes again!"

"Ahhh!"

It was as if it were a combo move unique to Sikong Xiaoxiao; once it was switched to someone else, even if it were the same Crimson Carp, it would be useless.

He smiled immediately.

"No, again! The water flow is too scattered!"

"I think I kind of get it!"

"Is it like this? Why do I always feel something is wrong? Is Heart Power Stage Five just as simple as adding one stage to four stages?"

"Go... my life is in your hands!"

Just as Aaron was pondering, a whirlpool suddenly appeared on the surface of the lake.

For a Spirit Master, these were all very simple matters.

Sikong Xiaoxiao said without much confidence.

Sikong Xiaoxiao laughed and pounced over, then screamed and retreated: "I can't beat this one..."

The next moment, a strong light suddenly emerged from Sikong Xiaoxiao, who was swimming rapidly.

Aaron said: "My Heart Power has finally advanced to Stage Four after arduous training, and adding your Stage One, we are comparable to Heart Power Stage Five... we have initially met the conditions for evolution. Next, we must hone our compatibility..."

Aaron was speechless.

The strength of a Pet Beast cannot be judged entirely by its rank.

Pfft!

The sea surface exploded, and rows of sharp, bone-white teeth bit into the water shield, causing it to deform constantly.

"Aaron, I won't let you go even if I become a ghost!"

Sikong Xiaoxiao was between tears and laughter, darting around the lake and splashing up clusters of water.

"I can't do it anymore, I'm so tired..."

Aaron covered his forehead: "I knew it... Now, by the command of a Beast Tamer, with the Contract as proof, Crimson Carp, come back and fight for me!"

Moreover, knowing Sikong Xiaoxiao like the back of his hand, he could completely adopt a simpler method.

"O... okay!"

"I just figured out a technique; although it cannot increase your Heart Power, it should be able to fuse and amplify our Heart Power when performing a Combined Skill..."

The next moment, he braced his hands, and a cerulean water shield floated up.

Aaron cupped his hands around his mouth like a megaphone to cheer: "Although the Alligator Gar is a General Grade Pet Beast, this one hasn't fully grown yet and is only a High-level Soldier. If you master the Water Blade I taught you, you can still win!"

"No, no, no, I'll die, I'll definitely be tired to death."

【Divine Attribute: Water】

"It's possible to cultivate while on the road, you know."

But the species limitation of the Crimson Carp is right there; if it doesn't evolve, it will never break through High-level Soldier in its entire life!

But how difficult is evolution?

It can be said that the vast majority of Crimson Carp are destined to be pure cannon fodder for life!

This was a fool-proof operating system he developed for her based on Sikong Xiaoxiao's data.

Aaron, who had traveled all the way out from the novice village, stood at the edge of the strait with his staff: "Hmm... once we pass through this strait, we'll be in the Lola Region."

"So, if the two of us join forces, we are experts with Heart Power—Stage Four?"

【Pet Beast Name: Alligator Gar】

【Strength Level Assessment: High-level Soldier】

But in the vast ocean, she finally felt what it was like to swim freely.

"Ahhh... I'm dying, I'm dying, I'm dying!"

However, it could cover up the fact that his Heart Power was already at Stage Four.

"Genius my foot. A real genius taught by me would not only have mastered Water Blade by now, but even Water Cutting would be no problem."

【Pet Beast Name: Fierce Biting Shark】

The Crimson Carp swam in circles incessantly, expressing its protest.

She nodded at this moment: "Hmm... as long as I evolve, my size will definitely skyrocket, and by then I'll be bigger than the Alligator Gar... you can even hold onto me to swim across! But... the second condition for evolution, spiritual compatibility... what should we do about that? What should I do? I don't want to have spiritual compatibility with you..."

After all, he had created this character based on the template of an ordinary person—well, at most, someone with a little bit of talent.

For a Beast Tamer, to make a pet evolve, one first needs Heart Power to reach Stage Five, and then one must be in perfect harmony with the beast.

There will certainly be no shortage of Water-type Pet Beasts in the ocean; it is foreseeable that this journey ahead will definitely not be very peaceful.

"Haha... I did it!"

Just as he spoke, Aaron saw the Fierce Biting Shark open its terrifying shark mouth, and a water cannonball landed on his protective barrier, forcing him to retreat repeatedly: "Don't be afraid... believe in the bond between you and me, believe in the experience you've accumulated... you can evolve!"

Aaron said to Sikong Xiaoxiao: "Now, we need to find a river or a lake, or just any place with water, to start training your abilities!"

Sikong Xiaoxiao rolled her eyes, jumped into the water tank, and no longer wanted to speak.

"Don't worry, I've checked everything. There are still a few deserted islands and coral reef landing spots on the sea, and with your aquatic nature, there won't be any big problems!"

Sikong Xiaoxiao leaped up again, and this time, the splash she made when entering the water was very small.

She wasn't an Alligator Gar; the Alligator Gar is a General Grade species, and after reaching High-level Soldier, it can upgrade to Low-level General, with its strength skyrocketing.

A night of Meditation practice increased her Heart Power by one stage; it doesn't seem that difficult after all...

"Awooo!"

"That won't do, your control over water flow is still too rough. You must have heard of high-pressure water jet cutting technology, right? You must work in this direction, make your water flow thin and high-pressure, and eventually master the ultimate skills of Water Blade or Water Cutting!"

【Description: The Fierce Biting Shark is one of the most ferocious Pet Beasts in the ocean. Once stimulated by the smell of blood, it is very likely to go into a frenzy... A school of Fierce Biting Sharks is the Nightmare of all marine life!】

Plus, having spent the whole journey bullying Big Claw Crabs, Bubble Lobsters, Soft Sea Stars... and other cannon fodder of the same Soldier Grade, Sikong Xiaoxiao was having a blast.

She... evolved!

Sikong Xiaoxiao first swam a circle in the sea, then drew a horizontal figure-eight, and finally, she swam faster and faster, even carving out wave-like patterns, before standing upright in the middle, as if giving the middle finger to the ocean towards Aaron...

Sikong Xiaoxiao only struggled twice before she was about to be finished.

It was barely better once she reached the lake.

Slap!

He struck with a stick, knocking the Red Carp in mid-air back.

Sikong Xiaoxiao thought about it seriously and yelled: "Our bond or whatever... I've thought about it, I don't want to be in perfect harmony with a stinky man, you should just go die... it's only one game life anyway!"

Aaron began to say to Sikong Xiaoxiao: "Clear your mind, and when you perform a skill, recite it silently in your heart..."

"Splash!"

Sikong Xiaoxiao made a flexible turn, dodging the Alligator Gar's lethal pounce, then violently flicked her tail, leaped out of the water, and flew toward Aaron.

Sikong Xiaoxiao was overjoyed: "Could it be that I am a genius?!"

Clap, clap, clap!

Aaron clapped vigorously: "Congratulations... you've leveled up! You are now a High-level Soldier!"

【Skills: Bite, Tail Strike】

Plop!

Sikong Xiaoxiao fell back into the lake and screamed loudly: "What are you doing? Trying to kill me for money?"

【Skills: Bite, Water Cannon, Frenzy, Hardened Skin】

Heart Power becomes harder the further you go; it's not simple addition.

With a splash, a huge strange fish surfaced.

【Race Grade: General Grade】

"But I'm so tired..."

Crack!

【Strength Level Assessment: High-level General】

A deep cutting mark appeared.

Motto Strait.

Appearing before Aaron was, shockingly, a shark about as long as an adult!

In the sky not far away, a few Big-mouthed White Seagulls were soaring, emitting crisp cries.

Pfft!

A beam of water turned into a Water Blade, cutting across the Alligator Gar.

"Alright... now listen to me, imagine a picture!"

Beside him, Sikong Xiaoxiao was swimming very happily; according to her, being in the fish tank before was like living in a capsule hotel, where she was afraid of hitting the ceiling just by sticking her head out.

Sikong Xiaoxiao's eyes lit up: "I saw on the forum that many veterans who have played for years only have about four stages of Heart Power..."

Of course, the Red Carp in Aaron's hand, the Sikong Xiaoxiao brand, was different!

"Don't be afraid! If a Pet Beast wants to grow, it must go through battle!"

It was two or three meters long, more than ten times larger than Sikong Xiaoxiao's Red Carp, with a long, slender mouth full of sharp teeth, resembling a crocodile's mouth, and its body was covered in dense spots.

Sikong Xiaoxiao suddenly felt something was wrong: "Aren't we still going to the Luola Region?"

【Description: The Alligator Gar is ferocious by nature, likes to swallow other fish Pet Beasts, its eggs are poisonous, its meat does not taste good, and it generally lives in freshwater or brackish water areas...】

"Pah! What's the use of that?"

Pfft!

In the calm lake, a carp leaped out of the water, splashing a huge spray.

The evolution process was very fast, almost in the blink of an eye.

It did, however, successfully enrage the Fierce Biting Shark, which in turn chased after the Red Carp that dared to provoke it.

For Aaron, there is no logic that cannot be explained; if you cannot explain it clearly, it means you don't really understand it yourself.

【Race Grade: Commander Grade】

"I'm dead, I'm dead, I'm dead..."

Finally, covered in wounds and scars from the Alligator Gar's bites, she leaped out of the water: "I'll fight you to the death! Water Blade!"

The huge Alligator Gar's head was cut in half, and dark red blood, like ink, stained half the lake.

Sikong Xiaoxiao is not stupid; bullying soft-bodied starfish or the like is fine, but facing a Fierce Biting Shark with the strength of a high-level warrior, she is practically a dish on a platter!

"Ah, you are despicable, you are shameless!"

"Protest invalid, let's go!"

Sikong Xiaoxiao yelled, but her body swam back involuntarily, circling the Fierce Biting Shark at high speed, before suddenly leaping up—Water Blade!

Sikong Xiaoxiao began to cry; after all, she is just a young girl, and not very old.

"Splash!"

Playfulness aside, when it comes to serious business, Sikong Xiaoxiao is also very earnest.

It has a black-blue body, and its crimson dorsal fin carries a sense of bloodthirst.

In mid-air, Aaron raised his cane and struck a classic golf swing pose.

Gull-gull~~

On the boundless sea surface, Aaron stepped on the water as if he were out for a leisurely stroll.

Aaron crossed his arms, looking like a cold-hearted coach, and shouted with a frown: "Do it again!"

Aaron shook his head.

What he taught Sikong Xiaoxiao was actually a "dummy-proof" operation method, which did not involve the underlying principles.

Beneath the water surface, a black shadow swam over.

……

Aaron took Sikong Xiaoxiao to find a lake.

The small splash turned into a fine line of water, cutting into a tree on the shore.

【Divine Attribute: Water】

Aaron smiled: "And... to get to Luola, one must pass through a strait... it just so happens I don't want to buy a boat ticket, so I'll just walk across."

……

"Splash!"

Of course, he could not actually do this, but he could deceive the world into believing he had.

"Alright, alright, I'm afraid of you... do as I say."

Aaron was deeply skeptical, but finally spoke: "Next... we will train a Combined Skill... you are a Pet Beast; while learning to fight, you must also learn to provide Protection for your Beast Tamer!"

Now that there is progress, it is understandable, it is understandable...

If the Water Blade shot onto the opponent's shark skin, it might only leave a white mark.

"Speaking of which, Aaron, you aren't really going to walk across, are you... although this strait is narrow, only about 200 kilometers, if you run out of steam halfway, you could drown!"

Splash!

She jumped into the water and began to execute her skill: "Splash!"

Even players don't care for them, not even considering them as transition Pet Beasts for the novice period.

Sikong Xiaoxiao rolled her dead-fish eyes, floating on the surface of the lake.

After all, she is a reincarnated player, possesses Heart Power, and has the wisdom and thinking of an adult, so her learning ability is very strong.

"Since you're awake, let's start training... I have some new ideas regarding your Splash skill... a skill is merely the manifestation of a talent; as a carp Pet Beast, you should naturally master the water flow!"

Pfft!

The Water Blade landed on the Fierce Biting Shark, but a flash of light appeared on the opponent's skin—Hardened Skin!

A white mark appeared, and that was all.

……

"Splash!"

After all, his Heart Power had long since reached the fifth stage in secret; what followed were merely stimulations of emotions and hormones.

In reality, Aaron's Heart Power was already at the fourth stage, but unfortunately, even adding Sikong Xiaoxiao's first stage, it could not possibly be the fifth stage.

He also discovered that if he didn't forcibly demand the Pet Beast's skill, and let Sikong Xiaoxiao perform it herself, she could probably perform it about ten times before feeling as if her body had been hollowed out.

Otherwise, the Fierce Biting Shark wouldn't care about these things and would have caught up and swallowed her in one bite long ago.

Aaron, however, was unhurried and began to describe a scene, incidentally hypnotizing Sikong Xiaoxiao.

Aaron's face darkened: "We'll talk about it when the time comes... maybe you'll break through while fighting."

"If that really doesn't work, you can still evolve!"

When the bright light faded, a huge crimson carp over a meter long appeared before Aaron's eyes.

Through tireless efforts, Sikong Xiaoxiao finally evolved into a salted fish spirit—no, wait! A Crimson Carp King!
