Chapter 124: Hiruzen Sarutobi

Danzo looked domineering.

Yes.

As a Leaf elder and leader of the Root, such things couldn't be hidden from him.

Upon learning that Uchiha Jin had awakened the Mangekyo Sharingan, while angry and fearful, he immediately harbored crooked thoughts.

Such a dangerous person must be controlled by the Root.

If he could be brainwashed and reformed, he could be used as a weapon.

If not.

Then kill him and dig out his eyes!

He was very familiar with this process; he didn't believe Uchiha Jin would dare to act against him, an elder.

As long as he was prepared and launched a sneak attack in the dark.

He had the confidence!

However.

Hiruzen Sarutobi didn't listen to Danzo's words at all.

"No, absolutely not!"

"Your Root is not allowed to intervene in this matter; just leave it to me to handle."

"Danzo, be obedient."

"This Uchiha Jin is different from the Uchihas you've dealt with before; he has no bond with the Uchiha clan, and he was assigned to the lowest-level cannon fodder squad at graduation."

"So it's impossible for bonds to have formed between his squad members."

"More importantly, his parents are also dead."

"Do you understand?"

"Such an Uchiha who has no bonds in the Leaf and has awakened the Mangekyo Sharingan."

"If you just suppress him, he might endure it."

"Once you use your Root's methods, do you think Uchiha Jin will defect?"

"When that happens, what can you use to threaten him?"

"So, think about it."

"Once you fail and let the Uchiha defect, what the Leaf will face will be a Mangekyo Uchiha with no constraints."

"What if he sets his sights on the Leaf and keeps launching sneak attacks?"

"Can you guard against it for a lifetime?"

Hiruzen Sarutobi was very familiar with Danzo's methods.

Therefore.

Before he understood Uchiha Jin and found a way to constrain him, he would never agree to take action against Uchiha Jin.

Because, once he failed.

The Leaf could not bear the consequences!

"Hiruzen, you are too weak!" Danzo's eyes were cold, and he said with disdain: "It is precisely because Uchiha Jin is dangerous that we should gather all means to kill him as quickly as possible."
