Chapter 76

Who could have thought that a mere squad of newly graduated cannon fodder Genin could delay the Mist main force in their territory for nearly three days, and today they even escaped from Suikazan Fuguki, one of the 'Seven Ninja Swordsmen', for an hour.

This was simply a myth!

However.

Everyone had seen Suikazan Fuguki, who had just fled, so this was something no one could fake.

"Hmm, understood."

"Next, you three get some good rest; there will be Anbu talking to you later."

"The rest, you don't need to worry about."

"It's our turn to take action."

Uchiha Shisui's tone was very gentle.

But the words he said sounded very domineering.

Immediately after.

More than a dozen large Leaf ships docked, and batch after batch of Leaf ninja disembarked.

In less than two hours, they had built a frontline camp on the spot, and even set up various defensive formations.

It had to be said.

This batch of Leaf elites and the previous cannon fodder army were simply two extremes.

Uchiha Jin and the other two were arranged in a tent.

About two hours later.

An Anbu squad appeared in the tent and conducted a strict investigation of the three.

This was normal.

After all, the original frontline camp had collapsed for almost a week.

No one could guarantee whether they had defected during this time.

However.

When the three of them took out nearly fifty Mist heads they had killed, as well as a large batch of Mist ninja headbands, kunai with Mist markings, military rations, and shuriken.

This Anbu squad still chose to believe them.

Yes.

They had taken out so many things, which was enough to prove what kind of cruel situation they had encountered in these few days.

If they still didn't believe them, were they even human?

Even.

If they hesitated for a moment now, once this matter got out, all the ninja in the Leaf would explode.

They encountered such a cruel situation and made such a contribution, yet were still suspected; which ninja could guarantee they wouldn't encounter this situation?

"Alright, I understand."

"We will take all these Mist heads, headbands, and other evidence for archiving and further investigation and confirmation."

"As long as it is finally determined, it will be directly converted into contribution points."

"The preliminary investigation is over, the report will be submitted to the village, and at the latest in two days, the Hokage will make a final judgment."

"You guys get some good rest."

"During this time, your squad will not have any missions."

"As long as you don't leave the frontline camp, it's fine!"

After saying this, the Anbu turned and left.

As for Uchiha Jin and the other two, they had no worries and lay on the bed to sleep.

Yes.

Their contribution was real, and the village was in need of people now.

Even Danzo, the 'Pot Shadow', wouldn't dare to mess around at this time.

And the current frontline camp was different from the previous cannon fodder camp.

The Mist couldn't kill their way in!

Since that was the case, they should hurry up and rest.

You have to know that their nerves had been tight for these past few days, and now that they had such a safe place, they naturally had to hurry up and get some good rest.

This sleep.

They slept until the sky went dark.

When they woke up again, it was already the afternoon of the next day.

The three of them ate a simple meal and returned to the tent to chat.

Yes.

Anyway, before the village's investigation was over, they didn't need to participate in battle.

Since they had this time, they naturally had to relax.

And during this time, even Shisui didn't come to find him.

This made him instantly understand that before the investigation was over, they were considered to be under house arrest in disguise.

It was just that because their situation was special, it wasn't suitable to lock them up directly.

But, even so.

Before the investigation was completely over, no one could approach them.

Otherwise, relying on Shisui's temper, he would have come to find him directly.

Time passed slowly.

Two days later.

The previous Anbu squad leader came to the three's tent again.

"After investigation."

"Your squad's contribution is fine, and it has now been completely recorded."

"Also, Hokage's order."

"Kudo Shin is promoted to elite Jonin and transferred to another squad to serve as captain."

"Uchiha Jin and Nara Kazama are exceptionally promoted to Chunin!"

"As for specific appointments, follow the frontline deployment."
