Chapter 97

If there isn't a reliable excuse, that is absolutely courting death!

Therefore, he could only speak.

Of course, Uchiha Jin likely wouldn't care about such a small amount of intelligence.

After all, once an ability has been exposed, one naturally doesn't care about others knowing it.

"Besides that?"

"Have you figured out what Uchiha Jin's goal actually is?"

"And why did he hide his strength?"

Nara Shikaku continued to speak.

Obviously.

This was his most fundamental goal.

He could now almost confirm that the three Uchihas who died were killed by Uchiha Jin.

He was not interested in the affairs within the Uchiha clan.

But what he cared about most was that corpse of the Cloud Ninja.

As the Jonin Commander, he actually also controlled the Konoha Intelligence Division.

Therefore, he confirmed that the Mist Ninja corpse that appeared abruptly outside the Forest of Death that day was the very same Cloud Ninja who had disappeared without rhyme or reason two years ago when Cloud Village came to kidnap Kushina.

So, why?

What exactly happened that day?

This matter concerned Cloud Village, and it also concerned the Nine-Tails Jinchuriki.

He had to figure it out.

This was also the reason why he had Nara Kazama join Uchiha Jin's squad.

For one thing.

The other members of the Nara clan were all within Class A.

Forcibly arranging him into a squad would naturally attract a lot of attention.

Although he didn't fully trust Nara Kazama.

He was confident he could control Nara Kazama, and it was just such a small matter anyway.

He believed that with Nara Kazama's insight, he could naturally handle it easily.

But, it was a pity.

Nara Kazama would honestly confess regarding his previous questions.

But as for this question, don't even think about it!

This involved the greatest scheme between him and Uchiha Jin.

Thinking of this, he shook his head helplessly.

"This, I'm not clear on."

"To be blunt, the squad I and Uchiha Jin are in is just a cannon fodder squad."

"You should be very clear about cannon fodder squads, Uncle."

"Such squads don't cultivate bonds, and there's even less time to perform cooperative missions."

"In such a squad, talking about trust is ridiculous."

"So, apart from topics related to missions, Uchiha Jin and I have basically never had any discussions."

"However, based on my guess, Uchiha Jin actually has no trust in the Uchiha clan."

"Hiding his strength makes sense!" ===== CHAPTER 98 =====
